"POOR, POOR, POOR. 3 months and nothing but empty email notifications offering products not remotely like the ones I ordered.

I to requested a refund and received an automated email telling me I needed to snail mail it to them. I looked at the code: http://le.utah.gov/~code/TITLE13/htm/13_11_000400.htm and it requires the request to be in writing but it does not require requests to be on a physical peice of paper sent from you to him. So the code allows for requests to be made by fax or email. If he wants a physical copy, he can print it out.

Contact your credit card immediately if you've passed the promised ship date and let him deal with them.

"My case is the same as everyone elses. Order placed 10-24-11. Did see a notice right before submitting the order of a 6 to 8 week wait. Never saw anything about any items not being in stock. The 6 to 8 week mark has come and gone. Real nice to get the email stating that all orders ship within 1 day when I am still waiting on my order. This company is a total joke. It is sad that this guy could have a great business if he had an ounce of business or customer service skills. Stay very far away from this company!!!!!!!"

"I have had it can't get to talk to anyone, no replies to emails. I have contacted the Utah Attorney General. I suggest all the rest or you that have been ripped off by The Paracord Master AKA BK Industries file a complaint as well. I have included the info below. "This is the biggest SCAM and THIEF!!!! Placed order with them on October 29th, got an e-mail on December 11th offering VERY LIMITED substitutions (they didn't even have black!)or I could request a refund at the specified refund e-mail address. I also had the option of contacting the owner at his e-mail address, which I did because when I place my order there was NOTHING about being special orders that would be they would charge my card immediately then have to wait for my order to be fulfilled. I guess I was fortunate that Brandon responded to me with his rebuttal that "the site has always stated that it was a special order site and that your card would be charged immediately upon ordering and that you would be waiting up to 6 weeks for your order. We recently changed the checkout process to more clearly state this but it has always been there." If it was there when I checked out it was microscopic. I promptly requested a refund at the e-mail address specified and have never heard from them again. I checked the website before it was shut down and everything except my name and e-mail address have been removed, there is no history of my placing an order with them. Luckily I did print my order back in December, but I'm not sure I can get the charges reversed at this late date. I sent a letter requesting a refund to his store address in Cedar City Utah, as he specified in an e-mailed newsletter recently, I mailed it certified with return receipt, so I know it was received at the store. According to the newsletter I should get my refund in 10 days...they got the letter almost 3 weeks ago...no refund yet!
I filed a complaint with Utah BBB, they think his business is closed because he won't respond to them. BBB said they were referring my complaint to Utah Division of Consumer Protection; but I went ahead and filed a complaint with them myself just to make sure my complaint is seen.
Found Paracord Masters Frustrations on Facebook and "liked" them, they are all sharing information on there. Southern Utah University recently posted an article they published about Paracord Masters, that was quite interesting.

"Same thing as everyone else....Ordered over 40 bucks worth and it was ordered in October 2011. Well its January folks! Now what do we do? I paid with my debit card???? Can I dispute it. i have the email confirmation from the order that was a fake order it seems. Help...what do I do? There email address and phone numbers are not activated and disconnected. How are they getting away with this?

"Wow! I don't even need to go into detail regarding my experience with Paracord Master, as all of the negative reviews already posted describes my experience exactly. Brandon, your responses to these posts is poor at best. I realize you began as a small company and didn't expect to have the business explode overnight. You can say over and over that we all were notified during our checkout process that our items were not in stock. Don't you find it just a bit coincidental that we all didn't see this verbiage on your website and placed our order anyway? I don't know about all the other people here, but I would not have placed an order knowing all that I know now. Like all of the people here, I have emailed every address given and called every number given and can't get a response at this time. The last time I spoke with someone was early December, and now nothing. Quite frankly, I am completely defeated now. Congratulations on your booming business. No need to respond unless you have something new to say or some heartfelt apologies and resolution to everyone's order inquiries."

"Please people do not order from this company. My wife and I put in our order on Sept. 24th 2011 to get cord to make bracelets to help out with our expences due to all the bills of my wife having cancer..we still have not received our order..cant talk to nobody..cant get anybody on a phone to talk to..it has been a hassle and we will never order from them again..and we hope you all wont either."

"Do ***NOT*** purchase ANYTHING from this company. They take your money the moment your order is placed. Then they send an email that says "you must wait 6-8 weeks for your product". If you want a refund before that time frame you must pay THEM 30%. They NEVER contact you via email. I've requested status updates on my order, and every time I get a mass produced "carbon copy" email stating how "overloaded" they are, and backed up, and to just be patient. I placed my order Oct. 22nd. It has been TEN weeks and nothing. Not a word from a real live person. I have filed my complaint with the better business bureau. Now that I am requesting a refund, **I** must pay more of my time and money as they are requiring me to mail a letter to them requesting it in writing!! Their website states that everything is "in stock!", and it isn't. They say they ship within 24 hours now... and maybe they do, but they are fulfilling NEW orders before outstanding ones. They never answer a phone. They do NOT respond to emails except with a mass "we are sorry, please keep waiting we are so backed up" email. They are USELESS. No REAL company, no GOOD company would expect customers to wait 3 months for a product. That is insanity!! This company is a VERY bad joke. They do NOT care about their customers and they do not answer emails or have any sort of customer service or satisfaction guarantee. I will NEVER recommend them to anyone and I HIGHLY recommend that you stay far far away from this company. Seriously. I mean, when I ordered they said 6-8 weeks for them to fulfill my order. It has been 10 weeks and no one will even talk to me about my order. I waited LONGER in hopes I would hear something, or that something would come in the mail... but nothing, not even a status update on what is missing, when or why. I was willing to give them a chance, hoping they would step up... had I known any of this before hand I would have NEVER used this company. You can bet your @$$ this company will fail. "My story is the same as everyone else's, so I'll spare you the details. But for anyone who is still holding out hope that this guy is not a total scumbag and your package is going to show up in the mail someday...forget it. It's been over 3 months for me, and he WILL NOT issue my refund as asked. He did not respond to my complaint with the BBB. Call your bank or credit card and file a dispute ASAP!!! This company is a complete scam, and I refuse to just sit back and let him take my money."

"Terrible!!! I ordered about $70 worth of cord and buckles for my Cub Scout Pack for a project. Ordered on November 21st. Still have no product but yet the website says NEW orders ship within 24 hours. What about all of the old orders? I advised that we would accept substitutions for anything that was out of stock and still nothing. Emails go unanswered and I just called the cell number and it is now out of service. They now have 51 Cub Scouts to add to their very disappointed customer list. Not to mention that they are out the $70 they worked hard to raise."

"Unfortunately, I am just NOW finding this review/rating of Paracord Master. Wish I would have found it before 23 October when I placed an order for my 12 year old daughter to get paracord so she could start her own business!!! Please, please, PLEASE do NOT order from these scheisters! When you look in the dictionary under the word 'Crook' their name will be listed there. They took my daughters money and every time I have tried to call their line is either busy or their voicemail box is full. When I have actually gotten a person on the line, he disconnected the phone call in the middle of our conversation. All e-mail inquiries have been met with automated responses. TOTAL SCAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
