Terrible customer service

"This has been one of the most painful customer service experiences I have had in quite some time. Please save yourself the burden of dealing with Palmetto State Armory and order elsewhere. I ordered an item and cancelled it a few hours later. I received an email confirming my order was cancelled and I would have the refund in 5-7 business days. Despite them canceling the order, the order still shipped. I attempted to email them multiple times to ask what to do because the item shipped, and then again to let them know the item arrived and what to do from there. The 7 business days had passed and I had no refund in my account. I finally had to message them on Instagram just to get a response. The following Monday I got an email saying they sent a prepaid shipping label to my email address and that once they receive the item, they will process the refund. Great. Only I never received a shipping label! I have since then emailed them twice asking for a shipping label and I have yet to get a response. Please do yourself a favor and order from a different company. NOTE I would love to call and talk to someone, but they are currently not accepting calls."

So many negatives doesn't seem right!

"I have been shopping with PSA for a long time now and have no reason to go anywhere else. Yes, deliveries can be held up here and there but that can happen anywhere! Prices are super keen, stock levels always seem good and customer services, although busy sometimes, aim to get anything sorted out. Stores are fantastically clean and those with a range are always a pleasure to shoot at. I simply do see me going anywhere else."

"The only thing that they were prompt on was canceling my order, after repeated attempts to get information had failed. Now it looks like they are just as bad at returning my money. Not at all impressed "

Dangerous magazine

"
Bought 1 60 round schmeisser magazine. Upon first use, 6 ftf, dangerous scoring and bending of ammo as it tried to feed into a well kept Aeroprecision rifle. Took a week to get a reply to be able to send it back. Once sent it's like a black hole...No response, no refund, nothing. Finally filed a complaint with the Better Business bureau. These guys really are lacking in the fundamentals. First and last time doing business with them...Spend your hard earned dollars elsewhere.

Do not waste your time

"There’s ZERO customer service. If you have a problem with an order, you’re on your own. I made a $417 ammo purchase. Never received it. PSA’s response? “Good luck!” Finally had to do a charge back with my bank. Absolutely ridiculous. "

Used to be good, now crap and NO customer service, done forever!!!

"AR stores are a dime a dozen, half of them now selling parts mfg in China. I used to consider PSA a cut above, next to Brownells, MidwayUSA, and my favorite, Primary Arms. However, their quality has slipped and there is no longer any customer service. The most recent and final issue I have with them is I bought a $75 PSA 2-stage trigger that does not work. I tried to call them but now they just direct you to file a customer service request online. So I did. After a week I got an email asking for more information, which I promptly supplied. It is now past 2 weeks and going on 3, and I have heard nothing from them. If this is how they do business, I am done with them for good. "

Horrible shipping and customer service

"Terrible!!! I have been trying to get my problem resolved for weeks and they are very slow to respond and are refusing to make this right! We ordered 9mm ammo and when we received the package, it had been dumped into a larger box with shells spilling everywhere. At least a 3rd of the rounds were damaged (dented or completely falling apart) with some missing. I just want to send them back and get a refund! Ridiculous! Will never order from them again and I recommend no one buy from them!"

Horrible customer service!!

"I wish l had read reviews! I have ordered ammo from them before with no problem.. So l ordered a AR Pistol kit from them Mar 27...l got it a week later and they sent me the wrong kit.... Mistakes happen no big deal, but 1st issue was they put the wrong sku# on the wrong box. They should actually check the box contents before shipping but once again mistakes happen... The real issues has been the worst customer service ever since then.... After several emails that were never answered l finally got through on the phone. I told them they sent the wrong item. I was told they would send the correct item, after l returned the wrong one. They sent me an automated label and l shipped it out the same day. They received it in their warehouse 2 days later (verified UPS tracking). They never notified me they got the return or would be sending the correct one. Once again no response to any emails... Once again multiple calls... When l finally got through they said they have no record of the return. I say im looking right at the UPS tracking it was delivered at 8:30am on April 8th...lm told they are backed up and it could be a couple days??? After several more days and still no contact. I got in touch with them again, they finally acknowledged they have the package but its still not checked into warehouse?? I was told an email would be sent to warehouse and forwarded to me... Once again nothing, so now a week later of them getting the return l call again today, still nothing and this time CS rep was giving me attitude saying they have to check to make sure l didn't send them damaged or missing items... I politely remind her that they sent me the wrong item and l sealed right back up and sent it back per their instructions... At this point lm behind mad!! The customer service agents are rude, lazy, give you attitude and straight up lie to you!?.... They still have my $800 and l have nothing to show for it and absolutely nothing to show me they have received the return and have sent the correct one... Absolutely the WORST experience with any company ive had... Reading other reviews l realize this is not only normal but frequent treatment of customers... And its even harder to get a refund... I guess ill be contacting my Credit card to get a charge back and drop a line to the BBB... I will never do business with them again and l warn anyone else to stay away...!!!! "

Don't bother with these guys.

"Too bad I didn't read the yelp reviews of this place before placing an order.

Other reviews state that their customer service is pretty much non-existent. Apparently it's true.

I ordered a product from their web site on April 4th. On the same day, I received two E-mails indicating that the order was "In process".

It became oblivious that there was a duplicate order(same product).

I immediately sent an E-mail to customer service requesting a cancellation of the second order.

No response to this, or the next three E-mails(April 5th, 6th, and 8th). I finally get an E-mail on April 9th that it's too late to cancel the order and that If I want to return the duplicate it will cost me $25.00.

Never again will I deal with this place. Buyer beware in dealing with them.

Tough times with limited service

"Ordered ammo for 3 weapons on 3/15/20. Website said allow 10 business days to process due to large number of orders occurring at the same time. I did. I waited. Before the 10 days I wanted to make sure my FFL was up to date. Online they have instructions on how to confirm. I looked and there was a green checkmark next to my FFL dealer that my information was on file and no issues. At day 11 of business days I request an order update request through the help center. Jordan says "your FFL is not up to date, please send to me." So, I send per his request. No reply. Day 12 I send order request. Ni'Aysia says "your FFL has expired. Contact them and have them send us a copy." Day 13 I send order request with no reply until day 14 which states that some of my items are no longer in stock. WTF. All reactive. No priority based order date. No opportunity to provide "perceived" missing information as their channels all showed it was not missing. Not to mention, they took my money out of my account the second i placed the order. Now, 14 days later and I will get a credit in my account in 10-15 business days.
While I understand that this may be a very busy time with many orders, the rest of the process is really poor. The system should have enough automated checks that can inform a buyer their FFL has expired and a new one must be submitted. Worst case, state that the FFL should be submitted at the point of purchase. If it is a duplicate, oh well.
I believe I will be taking my business elsewhere. I enjoyed them for years, but there are better places. Maybe I pay a little more. It will be worth the price to avoid this service level.
I am having trouble deciding between 2 or 3 stars.
For those reading, be mindful this issue occurred during Coronavirus Pandemic. There are some excuses that can be made, but it is also a clear indication of who not to go to during a time of increased orders. They cannot handle it.

Good products but no free shipping or return policy

"Good products at a decent price but Customer service needs help in product knowledge and they need more people answering the phone. I ordered a scope ring pic rail mount that they suggested and it did not have enough clearance. I had to return it and pay for shipping. Then I tried to cancel an order and I was on hold for over an hour and then the phone disconnected and I called back and the message was they were closed. I called the next morning to try again and it took over 40 minutes to speak to someone. They said I had to pay a $17 UPS cancellation fee or refuse the item and still get charged a $17 fee. Just making sure you need it before you purchase it and look at other online stores with free shipping and returns. Also be ready to be on hold for at least 30 minutes or more. "

Terrible service

"Ordered a Springfield EMP 40 from them it was supposed to come with the gear up package but their ad was misleading and it wasn't being sold with that package. We I called them about the rep was rude and said if I didn't like it I could send it back but didn't offer to to reimburse me for the return shipping so rather than be out more money I kept it.
I made the mistake of placing another order thru them and even though their website says it has shipped UPS says no one has called them to pick up the order and I have called them (Palmetto) 3 times about this all I get are different stories about what is going on, and the reps just want to get rid of you as fast as possible.
I doubt I will be ordering from them again.
