"Palmetto State Armory was one of the best shopping, buying, and customer service experiences I've had. Their web site was very easy to navigate, their checkout page was simple, and the shipping time was more than acceptable. When I inadvertently deleted my invoice from my email, I went online, contacted them via their web page, and someone answered me and resolved the issue in hours!"
"With todays delays in shipping and manufacturing PSA will not stand behind any product manufactured
by a third party (armaspec) if you don"t find out that it is defective within 30 days. After contacting PSA's
customer service where they wouldn't even put me in touch with a Mgr. to discuss the problem, I feel that
I do not want to ever purchase anything from them."
"
This was my first experience buying a gun online. I looked around for a few months because I wanted to make sure the site I used was legit. I was looking for a certain pistol because no one has stock in my local area. I chose PSA because most folks speak decently of them. I am from the SE US and a lot of people buy from them. I was looking for a Springfield Armory 1911 and settled on the Range Officer Champion, 45 ACP, 4 inch barrel. I ordered the gun on a Saturday, it shipped Tuesday and I picked it up from my FFL Friday. Six days start to finish. I made an account, followed their instructions and those of my FFL and I had zero issues. PSAs communications during the process were timely and their site and its system worked well. Their prices are cheaper and or comparable to other big online outfits. Their ARs and kits for ARs are cheaper bc they are made in house. I had an outstanding experience. I don’t get the negative reviews, most of them are probably people who don’t read instructions and expect mommy to do it for them. I’ve even bought a bit of ammo from them. If I buy another AR in the future it will be from PSA. I had large reservations about buying a gun online. PSA killed it with me. An all around excellent experience."
"Well i’d like to leave a review of their products, but seeing as how 2 months has now gone by and I have still yet to receive my gun or any email regarding the status of my order, I can’t do that. You’d think you’d be able to call and figure something out right? Wrong! I have called 9 times now in this time and have yet to have a single person pick up the phone. This company is a joke!"
"I was a first-time purchaser with their company (an AR-15). I ordered a rifle kit on January 15th, 2021. It cost roughly $625. It shipped on January 19th and arrived on January 25th. I picked it up at my local gun shop (as required by law). The problem... all they sent me was the barrel to the gun and a few small parts. What the hell? What do they expect me to do with this? I notified their "customer service" via email. It took over 4 days for the to even respond. Their response... send us a picture of what they sent. I did as they requested, within 30 minutes. 5 more days go by no response. I called this time. They gave me nothing but the runaround. I demanded that I get my money back. God knows how long that will take!
The mark of a great company isn't that they always get it right, rather it is how do they handle themselves, when they don't! It is quite obvious that the CEO Chad Wrey doesn't give a crap about how bad his company service or reviews are, because there are so many on so many different sites and no one even bothers to answer them. I had no idea, that there were so many bad reviews.
My advice: FIND ANOTHER COMPANY TO DO BUSINESS WITH! This company has no business, being in business!"
"I ordered an upper and lower for my son and I. The shipping time was great and the building e was an amazing learning experience.
THANKS PSA"
"Bought a gun almost 2 weeks ago, hasn't shipped yet"
"They have terrible customer service. They lie about e mail responses. Will not return phone calls or emails. Will not make messed up orders right. Will never ever buy from them again. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. They are not deserving of your business.

"Don’t buy from Palmetto. They stole merchandise from my firearms order, 3 magazines. I live in NJ. In 2018 they changed the law to 10 round maximum magazines. The fire arm I purchased came with three 15 round magazines. I confirmed with the FFL agent who did the transfer for me and with my local police department that the 15’s are legal if you put a special screw in them available at any guns shop that limits them to 10 rounds. No one at Palmetto informed me they’d be keeping the magazines. When my order arrived at the FFL dealer, all three were removed . I called Palmetto and they informed me they removed the magazines from
My order per NJ law. I explained the screw and said if they don’t want to send me the 15’s, send me three 10’a in their place or a store credit so I could purchase them. The customer service reps are very surly and rude and just reference pop up disclaimers during the purchase process that explain their policy. For a customer that just spent over $1,000 I can’t believe they will do nothing for me. I also asked 3 different reps what they do with the magazines they remove. None of them would answer. I’m sure they sell them or give them to employees. I find it ridiculous that they won’t even consider a lousy $25 store credit. I filed a report with the Better Business Bureau. I’ll never purchase from them again, that’s for sure. "
"Order on Oct 1st 2020, received on 12th, and found the A2 front sight tilted like 7-10 degree to the left, unable to zero unless dialed rear sight all the way to the left. Obtained RMA, sent in and PSA said adjusted with some jig, and returned to me, again, nothing appeared to be repaired as they said, still have to dial rear sight all the way to the left. OK sent email and got another RMA number, sent in, then they claimed that "front sight was check and found to be inline with the center line of the upper receiver." And refused to replace the unit. Oh come on, the product was first sent in with such a problem, and it's their responsibility to get one that's problem free for a NEW PRODUCT unless the world has changed that merchant can send product that has problem to end user and say it's ok just take it and refuse to replace......... AND I AM SURE I AM NOT GOING TO FEEL COMFORTABLE SEEING A TILTED A2 FRONT SIGHT FOR THE REST OF THIS UPPER'S LIFE.... you don't want your new car can only go straight by needing you turned all the way to the left do you?"
"I ordered a rifle kit and after 2 weeks only received the barrell. When I called to report the shortage I was told they don't know when the rest of the order would be sent but that a corrected order was sent to warehouse. After 1 week they still could now tell me when I would receive the rest of the kit. THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE that I have experienced. I WOULD NEVER BUY ANOTHER PRODUCT FROM THIS SAD **** COMPANY."
"Imagine being charged money for NOT receiving a product you ordered and being lied to multiple times. It happened to me.
Ordered on 10-6-2020 a pistol to be shipped to an FFL listed on PSA's website. I followed all PSA instructions to the letter. Called the FFL to inform them my pistol was on its way and was told they don't accept product from PSA. Immediately called PSA who said I had to wait for the gun to be returned to PSA before they could do anything. I decided to be patient as yes, sometimes things happen.
Well, it only got worse from there. After several calls to PSA where they never seemed able to locate the gun as being returned by the bogus FFL, or for PSA to follow through with promises made to keep me informed (I won't mention the staff names who lied to me), we agreed once the gun was returned it would be reshipped to a new FFL and I would be informed by email when that occurred.
Move forward almost 2 weeks and upon another of my initiated calls to PSA, they said the gun had been shipped twice to the new FFL and returned each time. PSA says that once they notify you of the shipment, we are to call the FFL and inform them a gun under my name is on its way from PSA. It's impossible to notify an FFL of an upcoming delivery when PSA failed twice to inform me it was shipped to the new FFL.
Never did I get the promised PSA communication telling me the gun had been re-shipped to the new FFL. Not only did I NOT RECEIVE the product ordered on October 6, 2020, but after I canceled the order, PSA CHEATED ME OUT OF A FULL REFUND for the "privilege" of their failure to deliver it and their staff lying to me multiple times.
Lessons learned? The 1st time something goes wrong with a purchase you should run, don't walk away from that vendor; and, don't believe a single thing a customer service person tells you... in today's world it's easier for them to lie to you than to do the right thing by a customer.

"Purchased firearm from this organization a month ago. Firearm did not come with magazines. Organization did not make any restitution. I will not purchase again from this organization."
"I call the customer service to make a complain about miss match price on a item and the was super rude.
I can't imagine how they will be with the LIFETIME waranty"
"I bought my PSA AR15 pistol and had the order in on August 11th. On August 18 my gun was at the FFL. I have purchased several guns with other companies and have yet to get a gun this fast. I had to contact them twice on the phone and got in every time after a brief wait. (around 25 minutes) My experience was excellent. "
"Purchased some D&H mags on Palmetto State Armory on the evening of August 20th. They shipped it out the next day on August 21st and received it today via UPS August 27th as promised. This is my first purchase with PSA and very pleased that everything is A-Okay. Very satisfied. "
