They charge you $10-$12 for standard shipping and call it 2 or 3 day. No customer service

"Their only options on their website are for 2 or 3 day shipping. One is $10, the other is $12. I paid for 2 day shipping and it got here in standard shipping time. I emailed them to ask about this with no response. After this, I called. It rings for awhile then cuts off. No one picks up and there is no voicemail. Horrid company. Avoid."

Horrible business practices

"If I could give this company zero stars I would. I tried to purchase a paintball gun for my son for Christmas. After a week, I still hadn’t received a shipping confirmation so I chatted with them to check the status. While chatting I learned that my order was cancelled because they couldn’t “verify” me. My card was charged, the gun was paid for but since I didn’t use PayPal, they cancelled my order. Then, they didn’t refund my money until after I called. Horrible business when it comes to communication. Don’t waste your time with this company."

"Theres a reason why they dont allow reviews on there website bc there reviews are all trash. Will definitely b taking my business to ANSgear as should you. Dont waste your time here you'll only have **** gear broken guns and horrible experience."

"i received from paintball online.com an email that says order confirmation. They want me to send my photo id billing address my credit card expire date , the name or the card holder and the last 4 digits. Is tha legit i am afraid tongive these infos... had this happenednto any1?"

"Ok, price was great, shipping was even better but when I order a NEW Compressed Air Tank I definitely do not expect to get one that expired in 2012!!! WTH! Contacted customer service, was asked to e-mail a picture of the tank showing "born on date", I did on Friday. Told them I had ordered it for a tournament the following weekend. Didn't hear a word from them, e-mailed them again on Monday@10:00 AM, they e-mailed me back at 4:30 PM. They are going to send me a return label and when they receive the "Expired" tank they will ship me out another one. So how exactly is that going to help me for my tournament this weekend???? They don't stand behind their mistakes and I now have to order another tank (Clearly from another company) and pay expedited shipping... NEVER AGAIN."

"My son milked cows and saved for months to purchase his paintball gear. Unfortunately he bought from paintball-online.com

He bought two air tanks that were to soon expire, came as seltzer water bottles and leaked when filled at dicks sporting goods

His gun that he bought brand new had a broken paintball in the barrel

This was after 3 weeks to ship.

When searching their reputation I found a review site that they probably own, as it's a review, but there is no way to actually submit reviews

"I purchased my sons guns and supplies at Paintball Online and tried their VIP program. I have to say I have become extremely disappointed and am going to look to other sites to do my future shopping. Their site makes claims about service they in fact do not uphold. An example: VIP orders 300 FPS Promise, a promise no less to have in stock orders shipped within three hours. Unfortunately the actual service for an order placed Sunday night was sending the shipment to UPS Tuesday night. I do not expect weekend processing but anytime Monday would have been nice. This delayed receiving the order beyond the next weekend. They send A LOT of emails, one happened to be the selling of a mystery box. Now I do not have a problem when a store sells out of an item (it happens). I have a real problem when I call this so called VIP line to confirm an order placed the same day the email was received and the order is confirmed, but 11 days later it changes again. Order placed August 25, confirmed on telephone August 26 because their email system apparently sends poorly interpreted emails. September 5, 11 days later I receive a cancellation email that has the following quoted directly:
Your order has been cancelled for one of the following reasons:
1. At your request
2. We found a duplicate order
3. No reply from you on a previous email.
4. Discontinued/outdated product
Apparently when they run out of a new product sale, which they control the amount available, they still cannot take the time to word an email that makes sense and has any sort of apology. That's VIP treatment? When you purchase a gun you feel that you are essentially tied to that business for warranty purposes. I tried to do business with Paintball Online but I think the situations demonstrated above give a pretty good picture for readers to come to their own conclusion when evaluating them. I did call them and voice my frustration, their reaction was Oh well. I have taken the time to post this because I am getting frustrated with Companies using customer service promises as sales gimmicks and believing they have no duty to actually uphold them. Its true that I am just one customer they can technically afford to lose; the catch is that I hope others will learn from my experience that Paintball Online Inc./xtremez.com unfortunately has no qualms when they do not uphold their "promises". Please keep that in mind when you choose a retailer. It's easy to put a lot of nice sounding sales tactics on a website to gain online sales, hopefully customers can find another seller that actually upholds their statements.

"This is the second time I have made multiple purchases of paintball gear from this company. The first time there was some mix up with my orders but this was largely due to their mulitple order numbering system where you receive three or four different account numbers for the same order. One number when you make the intial order and payment, a second number when they confirm the order, another number when your order is shipped etc. This makes things very confusing especially if you are placing seperate orders close together. Apart from that it was difficult to deal with their customer services at times in trying to sort out all the various order numbers. That said they did work with me even when my frustration showed more than it perhaps should have (sorry guys). That said the end result was/is that I was/am very satisfied with the products I received and the final level of customer service I got. The pros outweighed the cons and I have had no hesitation in giving them my return business. Sometimes balls burst in the barrel and likewise sometimes things go wrong with orders placed.Overall a very good and reliable service and product."

"1) On a scale of 1 to 10 (1 being unlikely, 10 being very likely), what is the likelihood you would recommend PaintballOnline.com to a friend?

10: very likely as your prices and selection were very good. Free shipping offers are always a great incentive too.

The items were scheduled to arrive in time for a birthday celebration but ended up delayed due to a back ordered case of paintballs. I will know in the future to read the confirmation emails in their entirety as I missed the portion of the message that highlighted the delay and instructions potential remedies. Perhaps beginning the message with that information, or flagging the items or offering alternative choices (in this circumstance a different color of the same brand of ball) in the shopping cart. (If it was flagged I missed it this time).

2) What is the most important reason for the score you gave?

The quick turn around of the order and free shipping.


I appreciate you taking the time to ask these questions of me. This initiative shows me that you value the voice of your customer, and thereby will have a success. I look forward to dealing with your company again in the future.

"I wish I would have looked for reviews before I ordered from these guys. They are pleasant enough to talk to, but their website gives concrete days for delivery that they have no intention of complying with. Don't believe the shipping dates on the website. I ordered a marker for an event for the upcoming weekend. I ordered on Monday with a promised delivery by Thursday. I called on Wed. at 4:00 PM and the customer service lady said, we will get this to the warehouse tomorrow to ship. They hadn't done anything with it for three days, and then it was supposed to ship on the day it was supposed to be delivered? So, I won't have the goods for the event and will have to rent gear. The customer service rep blamed "IT" unaplogetically and said that the PROMISED delivery dates were estimates. She then offered to let me pay for a shipping upgrade to get it only one day late. She did say that it MAY still arrive by Friday. I'm honestly not sure I'll order from these guys again."
