"This company is horrible, i recently ordered a AGP motherboard from them, took them about a month for it to be delivered. When i received the motherboard, the supporting software for the motherboard was not included in the delivery. Also, the back panel for the motherboard wasn't present in the delivery. When I try to call them, picking up on the other side is an automatic voice system telling me to go online and ask for support. I went online and click on the support button and i got the message all online customer rep are busy right now. I'm speculating that this company only have few employees. Overall, this company is a terrible company with bad customer services and ability to stick with their delivery dates"

"UGH Well I ordered a MOBO from them 7-8 days delivery.I contacted them through their crappy e-mail reply after 9 days with no communication.And it was processed shipped the very next day with no apology or explanation . Got Mobo and it was stained and scratched and wrapped in a static bag with holes in it! Not to mention the IDE cables they sent with it were kinked and dirty too.No users guide, no padding, no mounting screws, just an old used mother board.I was soppose to get a NEW MOBO according to the ad...they said it was "New" and "OEM" in a nasty e-mail basically calling me a moron. DON"T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY.
After posting this review the company threatened me with their "legal team" and will no longer communicate with until I change my review...need I say more about how they do business.
8-13-09 The reply from PCPlanet is an out and out lie.The product they sent was used ,dirty, and did not even work.Do not believe anything they say.They want to sell you second rate stuff with a NO REFUND policy to make money. "I couldn't possibly state how horrible this company is in 5000 characters. Where do I start? I ordered 2 monitors on 5/6 and was told they were "in stock". On 6/30 I got the first one, and now it is 7/21 and still no second monitor. Their customer service is nasty and uses ALL CAPS in their emails - very professional. If I had the time to pursue legal action against them I would. Caveat Emptor indeed! Proceed with caution if ever using this sham of a company. Horrible, horrible, worst buying experience of my life."

"i had better luck with this company than most others did. i purchased a couple of small items from them in the past few years i had good luck with their phone support, and when i needed to return a noncompatible modem that i purchased from them, they took it back no questions asked, and refunded my $. another item i purchased was a quik chip upgrade. its been humming along just fine for a few years."

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS PERSON!
I oredered a abit an7 advertised as new.No mention of refurbished or used.They tried to tell me it was OEM and that I don't know what OEM means.
This thing was trashed.1 cpu retention clip broken,scratches all over.The previous owner had glued heatsink pieces all over the chipset.This thing wouldn't even post.Their so called customer support resorted to insulting me and accused me of not knowing what I ordered and deciding I didn't need it.
I have never seen such bad business practices.They refuse to make it right!

"Worse on-line experience I ever had. I ordered an expensive video card that carries a lifetime warranty on 2/26 it arrived on 3/16 so much for 3-5 day delivery. E-mails go unanswered when inquires are made. PCPlanet sent me the wrong video card, an infirior one with a 1 year warranty: luckily I checked the model and serial #s. They were slow to reply when I tried to contact them. I discovered their corporate address is a PO box at a Mail Box store. Phone is just a recording. Calls are never returned. Being unable to reach them I called my credit card company to dispute the charge as PCPlanet sent me the wrong item. Finally got an RMA #. The return address according to UPS is a residence. Joshua R who finally responded to my e-mails blamed me for the mistake.He wanted to exchange this item for a replacement, He couldn't verify he had the correct card. When I told him I read bad reviews he said people are stupid and don't know computer terms. He accused me of fraud for cancelling my charge. He commited the fraud by trying to pass off an inferior card for the expensive one. When he returned e-mails he made many errors and misstated the facts.He claims he has many customers and government contracts, hard to believe. This is a very bad business, don't be fooled by the slick web site.He did everything but apologize for their mistake.He tried to threaten me with his legal department, I'm sure there isn't one. "

"So, I order from these guys (1/19/09), and ten days later, I get to thinking "where's my video card?" So I put in a trouble ticket at their website, and it's never answered, but I get an email that day indicating that "the order has been shipped on 1/17/09 1:20 PM". First of all, That's two days before I placed the order. Second of all, 10 days is a long time, and I think that UPS... whatever. Not really worth it to argue. They just shipped it, so just give it a couple days, right? I did, and the card got here. victory. plugged it in, it worked well. started to hear some noises out of the thing after a couple of days, looked at it, and the fan had broken. That's it, man. I'm usually pretty forgiving, but this card is as useful a tool for 3d rendering as a hammer is without a working fan. I just put in another ticket, but doubt it will be taken seriously. Do not buy from these people."

"DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! I ordered a discontinued motherboard from them and they sent me a similar part #, but inferior motherboard that I can buy for 1/2 the price at many other places. I shipped it back based on their instructions and they promised to reimburse me for my shipping. Quote from their online ticket "...we will ship the correct one and refund your shipping cost, but we will not refund the product since it has been special ordered for you."

I asked for a refund since I wanted the motherboard right away, but they flatly refused incorrectly quoting from their terms of service.

After waiting over a month for them to verify I returned the board, and getting insulted multiple times on their ticket, it became obvious that they did not have the board I wanted, and I had no hope of getting one or a refund. They did not do anything until I opened a case with the BBB asking for either the board I ordered or a refund, their choice. After lying to the BBB multiple times, I finally got my refund of the original purchase price but they refuse to reimburse me for my shipping because "...you returned a product for either cancellation or refund." They made it sound like it was my choice. My conclusions from this:

1. They did not have the product I ordered in stock even though it stated they did on their website.
2. They tried to slip me a similar but inferior product hoping I wouldn't notice.
3. They never "special ordered" the product because what they sent me wasn't even listed on their website as a product they sell.
4. They had no intention of refunding my money until I got the BBB involved.
5. They continued to make it sound like it was my fault that I returned the motherboard - Like THEY were the victim.
6. They never had any intention of returning my shipping costs, so I'm out that.

I've ordered many, many items online and this is, by far, the worst experience I've had.

My conclusion: NEVER DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. You will save yourself much grief.

"Same experience as a previous customer had posted. I purchased an older motherboard on Jan 12. Did not hear a single word about the item for 12 days until I made an inquiry as to the whereabouts of the order and was told they have to "special" order the item from Canada. After sending several emails informing them that I wished to cancel the order, they responded on Jan 30th saying the order had been shipped and I cannot cancel the order.
As soon as this item comes, I am turning right back around to them. Their customer service is rude and incompetent and after further research, I found out that they are being investigated for consumer fraud by the California AG's office of Consumer Affairs.
STAY AWAY FROM PC PLANET SYSTEMS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"I wanted an older motherboard to use some good older parts I have. Before I ordered the board I contacted PC Planet Systems to see if they had the board in stock. They said they had it in Canada. PC Planet systems represented this product as new.

After a week PC Planet Systems said the board was “special ordered from our warehouse in Canada.” Six weeks later I received the board, it is used, missing parts, has ripped bags, and a CPU slot cover from another motherboard manufacture on it. So far they have refused a refund. I have a pending complaint with the BBB.

I would avoid PC Planet Systems in the future. I should have known. Look at their reviews. Many are obviously written by them, they are the same style.
