"I am very concerned with returning my dress... It was not what I expected to receive at all. The bottom portion of the dress wasn't what it was shown in the picture. The zipper was sewn on crookedly. As well as the bust was crooked. The fabric was not what it was said to be. Satin, not silk like satin so that it would fall easily as it did in the picture advertised. The slit was very low as compared to the picture. The measurements given were false. I ordered a size 2 dress because my body fit perfectly to what the size chart had given me, but when I tried it on, it was extremely tight to the point where I could not walk in it. And to add on, the beading to the dress was already tarnished. My prom is in a few weeks so I will not be ordering from this site again sadly.. Great customer service but they gave me false hope. EXTREMELY disappointed and in complete distraught considering the fact that I spent $130 on a completely useless dress. Furious!!! False advertisement! And I wish to receive a great portion of my money back so I can look for a new dress.. ;("

I am a bride that decided to order my bridesmaid dresses from Outerinner in order to give my bridesmaid the option to choose the best dress for their figure.
Bad idea, the dress quality is HORRIBLE. We ordered 6 dresses, one needed slight alterations, 4 needed major alterations, and one was not able to be used since they sent a dress with a wrong colour belt that was sewn in. I ordered a tea green dress with a tea green belt and recieved a tea green dress with a red belt. Even though it was their mistake they would not supply a new dress. They sent a new belt with a $60 customs charge (more than the dress). I just decided to not accept the belt as the dress needed major alterations as well.
They seem nice when you contact them, but they do not fix their mistakes and do not account at all for them. They are pointless emails that get you no where.
Trust me, you do not want to go through this.
The quility is horrible, mistakes are not fixed, don't wast your time or money.


**********This is a reply to outerinner, no the issue is not solved since my wedding is in 11 days and my maid of honour still has not received the dress she ordered. Just a belt (for $60) that will not fix anything, since no seamstress is able to fix it since the wrong colour belt is sewn in to the zipper. Also, no you have not been emailing regarding this case. Once again people, don't do it."

"EDIT: Frunie, over at OuterInner, has been EXTREMELY helpful. I feel a lot better about the whole situation from discussing it with her and they have offered to help me with the dress, even if I was a little late on pointing out the issues. I'm not happy with the quality of the dress, but it will hold up for the wedding and they have been really nice about the issues and are willing to help.

Having been originally disenchanted with customer service after having my dress MIA, the help I have received after discovering the issues has been remarkable.

I didn't have the best experience with the dress, but that's not to say that is the issue for everyone. The other bridesmaids in the wedding party seem to have had no problems at all. I wouldn't order a dress that you need ASAP, but if you've got some time, they have a lot of selection and are willing to work with you on any issues. Frunie, in particular, went above and beyond the call of duty. Even after I told her I didn't expect any remedy to be found, she continued to work with me on the dress.

ORIGINAL: The dress poofs in places it isn't supposed to, the hems don't match and the seam is more than a little wonky. On top of that, the dress did NOT come when they told me it would. They say up to 20 days to be made before it'll ship. The dress didn't ship for over 30 business days after I ordered it and only after I had to sent two separate emails to even get any information about what was happening with my dress. They also originally told me I would have to pay to upgrade my shipping because THEY didn't make my dress within the allotted time after THEY changed my shipping without my consent. They did eventually pay the extra $6 themselves so I could get the dress on time, but it was not a good experience."

"I have had the worst experience with this company. I'd never suggest them to anyone I know, and I'm warning other people to be cautious. I ordered what I thought would be a gorgeous wedding dress on February 2nd. I thought I was being cautious by ordering with paypal - I thought even if it took the 20 days that the website says to make the dress, surely it wouldn't take much longer than that to get here. After all, shipping was $51 - even from overseas, that's expensive. I assumed that part of the cost was to expidite the dresses.
I was not pleased when I got the dresses. The fabric was cheap-feeling and the dresses were quite a bit longer than I was comfortable with. The sleeves were too tight at the top, and weirdly loose at the bottom. The neckline, which was gorgeous on the model in the picture, pinched my skin and made me look like I had weirdly overdeveloped neck muscles - sort of like a bridal She-Hulk.
So, I thought that ordering with Paypal would give me a little security because I could always open a complaint with them. However. The dresses did not arrive until April 1st, well after the 45 day window to open said complaint.
There's a certain kind of calculating, evil genius in that. I don't believe that the timing is a coincidence. My first thought was that Outerinner.com had complaints opened in the past and figured out a way to get around it.
But then I thought maybe I was jumping to conclusions and I should give customer service the chance to fix their mistake.
When I did, the customer service rep asked for really invasive things - first, to take pictures of myself in the dress, and then for my measurements. When I explained that how weird that request was and that one of the dresses was for someone else who wasn't super happy with the way her dress fit, they suggested the following things:
- To alter the dress. (After having waited for two months for the dresses to arrive in the first place, I doubted that the alterations would be done in time for my wedding. Additionally, shipping the dresses back and forth again would cost over $100.)
- To have the dress altered here. (Which would likely be more costly than the dress.)
- To order a new (custom) dress from outerinner.com at 20%. (No thank you. I've had the WORST customer experience of my life so far.)
- To sell the dress to a friend at cost. (What? Really? This assumes that I have a friend who is my size getting married soon. And that I am totally fine with selling my friend a dress that I found to be poorly made. Clearly, outerinner assumes that I don't want to build lasting friendships with other brides.)
Please space yourself the horrible experience of ordering from this shady company. My partner and I are both students, so I thought I was going to save money by ordering a dress from Outerinner.com - but instead, I am out the cost of two dresses and shipping on top of the dress I will actually be walking down the aisle in. Don't order from this company. "

"I ordered my outerinner prom dress on match 30, 2013 and received it on April 11, 2013 at first I was a little nervous that it wouldn't be on time for my prom day, but once talking to customer service they assured me that they would get it to me before my prom date, and they did and the dress was marvelous and fitted perfectly I recommend outerinner.com to customers wonderful! "I recently ordered a bridesmaid's dress from OuterInner, the 'Halter Ribbon Detailed Knee-length Dress' in champagne, and it is beautiful!! It was exactly what I was hoping for and the bride loves it! She made her other two bridesmaids order from OuterInner as well, and I can't wait to see their dresses! I ordered a size 2, and it fits like a glove.

Generally I hesitate ordering from online, but OuterInner is one I would recommend. I asked for the dress no later than April 30th, and ordered it March 19th. It came in almost 2 weeks early on April 17th! Shipping is a little pricey, but considering the price of their dresses, it's worth it.

Also, customer service was amazing! I would email them (because I was so nervous about ordering on-line), and they would get back to me within 3 days. They were friendly and assured me that the dress would come before April 30th. Great customer service.

"I just recieved my bridesmaid dresses for my wedding. They turned out beautifully! I'm really happy with the craftmanship. They are just as I pictured they would be. I found the exact same style of dress on other websites, but for nearly $40 more per dress. I'm really excited to see how beautiful my bridesmaids will look in them. The processing of my order took a while, but I had ordered 3 dresses to be specially made. Overall, I was satisfied with the timely manner in which OuterInner answered my questions and processed my order. Once shipped, I recieved my order in less than 3 days."

"I purchased my wedding dress and two bridesmaids dresses, along with jackets for each of us and a couple of veils to try out. Overall very happy with all aspects of the process. The customer service team were quick to contact me and confirm details of my order and had been very helpful earlier in the planning process providing me with photos of different coloured fabrics via Facebook, and generally being very quick to respond to any questions I had. Very easy to deal with. The dresses arrived much quicker than I'd expected, use nice materials and are well made. We had to get a couple of slight adjustments done but that is probably due to my measurements being a bit off.
