"This is the worst company I've EVER ordered from...... They lie to you & will flat hang up on you.... Be warned, if you order anything from them you are taking a huge risk.... I ordered Dec. 31, 2010 & never received my camera & then they cancelled the order & said my money should be in the bank in 72 hours.... It's been 144 hours & still nothing....!"

"12/26 We ordered a Sony DSLR at the advertised very good price. We received the automated confirmation with order number the same day. Advised that order sent out in 24 - 72 hours and free delivery 7- 9 days.
12/29 Verification call received, declined battery upgrade. We were told that free equipment offered on the site was incorrect and we had to select just one item. Plus, we were told shipment info would be confirmed by e-mail and include delivery tracking info. Credit charge was put on my account.
01/03 Five days later, I sent an e-mail asking for the shipment confirmation, then call about it. we were told we would have the camera by the end of the week and he would e-mail tracking info
01/11 8 days (3 week + 2 days from order)later, no e-mail, no camera. Camera price had gone up $60 on their web ad. I called again and was told camera had been shipped to wrong address and they were trying to get it back. He insisted he could cancel the order and refund the charge. I told him to just send another camera.He said he could not until they got the other one back.He insisted that they cancel the order. Finally I told him to just cancel it and put credit back on the account. He said it would take 24 - 72 hours for the credit to show up. He confirmed by e-mail that the credit was being issued.
01/17 6 days from last call. No credit on the account. I called Amex and asked that the charge be returned to the company and the credit put on my account.
01/19 We received e-mail that credit had been issued.
01/20 Credit is on the account. 3 weeks and 5 days since order confirmed by them, never saw the camera but we finally have our money back.
NO I WOULDN'T DO BUSINESS WITH THEM, even if the merchandise were half price.
2/7/2011 Steve, the manager of this company, called a late last week and offered me a memory card for the camera (which I ordered from another company)for all of the hassel I had received.
Admittedly, the camera had been ordered the day after Christmas and probably the people who had worked longer hours prior to, may have been taking a few days off. Plus, the weather in the eastern half of the country has been cold with much snow.
The memory card arrived today, so, I'll have to admit that the service department functioned as it should have. I'll increase the stars for this follow up.

"My experience has not been good. I ordered a Canon S95 on 1/4 and needed it by 1/14. Suddenly they claimed to need two days of processing time. Fine. They told me on the phone on 1/7 that is was in stock and had already shipped. Well, obviously it didn't.

Order status did not get updated forever, then finally it showed up as a UPS package instead of the USPS that the sales guy had talked about. According to UPS they shipped it 1/18. So I called and asked what was going on... if I had known they'd shipped it two weeks after my order I would have shopped another place. So the guy tells me that the camera shipped USPS but the "promotional item" shipped UPS. Today I got the camera via UPS... so he lied or had no clue what was going on. I don't get that.

Bottom line is they lied about having the camera in stock, then it took forever to get it, BUT they took the money out of my account on 1/5... hmmm...

Next, I open the package and the S95 original packaging has obviously been opened before... I bet this is a camera that has been returned before. I am going to ask for a RMA # tomorrow and will return it. Very disappointing. I'll see how long it'll take to refund my money. Based on the experience above, I wouldn't be surprised if it took me 6 weeks to get my money back.

I could not recommend this seller. I'll make a final judgment once I return the camera and see how fairly they treat me.

It's not worth saving $30 for all the risk. Amazon would have been a much better deal in terms of safety, shipping status, and reliability. Also, they don't bill you until it goes out the door.

"I ordered the Canon Powershot G12 that I found at a good price on this website. They called to confirm the order and made a few suggestions and asked if I had a questions. The camera arrived in a reasonable time and I have been very happy with it. Everything worked out well and I got the camera I wanted for a good deal. No problems. I will order from them again."

"This is a usual scam company. The ask you to call to confirm "high value purchase". After hearing telephone music for a while, they tell you that your purchase is an "import model" with no warranty in US and propose to sell you a set that includes some other overcharged stuff. Do not bother to spend time with a hope that you would get you camera cheap. Better try to use other reputable companies. "

"i was really excited to find onpointelectronics.com had great competitive pricing. so i ordered a canon 7d on january 1st 2011 and the camera was listed as instock, just like everything on their site. well they've been giving me the run around for almost two and a half weeks. i've called 3 times to confirm the order, the first time i called was january 4th because they had not billed my account yet. they said that they had received the order and would be processing and billing within 48 hours due to their back log for being closed for new years holiday. i was comfortable with that and waited for 2 days to call again. the second time i called they told me they were out of stock and would be getting them in stock on friday january 7th. January 11th rolled around and i had yet to be billed for the camera. so i called a third time; i was told that canon shipped a load of 7d kits to the warehouse instead of the body and the problem should be corrected and shipped by Tuesday january 18th. if and when i get my camera i will remove the review but as for now this is my experience with onpointelectronics. i'm very disappointed and hope my fears are proved wrong in the near future. "

I cancel my order , for the camera that I order they charge me on my visa 624.05 dollars , today I got my credit from them is 589,56 dollars , a diference of 35 dollars , I will not contact them anymore , I will open a dispute file with visa for the diference on the credit , PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS RUBBISH ONPOINTCAMERA.COM , NOT THAT THEY ARE LIARS, BUT THEY STEAL YOUR CASH TO .

"Was able to order on-line without any trouble and found a place (link?) to ask questions which I found useful. The way I phrased my question may have caused a problem because I did not know that SONY uses a DIFFERENT 'style' of camera charger for European customers vs N American customers. As a consequence when I asked if the charger was 110v OR 100-240v I did not get the answer I was looking for. Once I called SONY and discovered their system and complained that their packaging does NOT indicate the voltage of the charger I was able to call back to Nick and, having the assurance that the packaging I received would be SONY's sealed package, I was happy that the charger would be 100-240v. In using either charger a proper adapter plug (not sold with the camera) is required for whichever country the user is visiting. I have an ample supply of such adapters for various parts of the world so I was satisfied all round. My camera arrived in perfect condition in a well protecting outer package."

"I ordered a sony cybershot DSC-TX9 on 12/20 the order was delivered on 12/23, well within the promised time frame. I had a conversation with a sales person who was helpful, made suggestions about the memory card and battery which I upgraded. This was a professional suggestion and most useful. The package arrived without damage, everything was delivered as ordered and it was the least expensive site I could find. I rate this company very highly because of the pleasant staff and the promptness and their attention to detail. They upgraded delivery without charge."

"After spending a week searching for the lowest price for my Canon PowerShot camera I came upon the OnpointElectronics website and found the lowest price with free shipping and no tax. When placing the order I was advised that the free shipping was the standard 5-7 days. To my surprise I received a phone call within a day of ordering advising me that the standard shipping would place the camera in my hands after Christmas, did I want to upgrade shipping to get the camera in time for Christmas. I responded no as the camera was not a Christmas gift purchase. To my surprise the camera arrived a day later and prior to Christmas. How great was that! Thank you OnpointElectronics."
