"BUYER BEWARE:
This is the worst company I've EVER ordered from..scam company. I Called me to confirm the order. Something about American express card connection is down. I must be crazy provided another credit card information WITH THE SECURITY CODE. I have Waiting for two weeks. It never come. Called back to cancel. after 3 weeks status on my account still pending without cancel . I hope they never use my credit card informations.

Shipping 7-9 days
Called 1/21/11 to check on transit. Poor customer service and flakey shipping promises.
Called 1/28/11 to inquire why I haven't received camera. They said they will ship it that day.
Login 1/31/11 to site to check status of order - in shipment. Called 1/31/11 and they said the order had been cancelled. Cancellation email cam four days later and visa was credited another four days later.
I did not choose to cancel my order, and this business has abysmal customer support. Their employees are suspiciously 'named' Russel (the shiftless manager @ extension 506 who likes to tell you your USPS confirmation # which doesn't exist in the USPS system and then it can miraculously get lost in the mail enroute to me and they will 'immediately' ship out a replacement today but turns out he actually waits over the weekend plus the bookended Friday and Monday just because that's what jerks do) Roger the warehouse manager who is looking at your shipment on his desk yet tells you it's lost or on backorder depending on the day you call, Raymond (ext. 501 who has no authority to do anything but waste my time), and Reggie who was probably hired based on the good-looking R followed closely by eggie.

"This place was totally sketchy....
I placed an order. Emailed to see when it will ship..... No response. Called and some guy with thick Brooklyn accent answered the phone: "YEA".

He was dodged all my questions. Tried to sell me a special battery for $170. Said the one that come from Leica was no good.

Tried to sell me a warranty.

Strange long pauses before he would answer any questions. I had to ask him everything 3-4 times.

I asked him 5 times when it will ship and he said "soon". Would not give me a straight answer.

I canceled my order after seeing that so many people got scammed online.

This place needs to be shut down . Not worth saving $40.

"OnpointElectronics made various points of contact with during my purchase process that made me feel more secure about my order. Since it's not a reseller I've ever heard of I was slightly apprehensive about purchasing an expensive item from them, but the promotional deals offered at the time of my sale made OnpointElectronics the best value. I was contacted both by phone and email to confirm my order, and was assisted promptly when my promotional package went missing."

"it's a pure scam! They tried to sell me an expensive battery ($206.99 for Canon LP-E6 while it's only $59 in B&H), after I refused it, they said my order (Canon 5d) was back ordered and I had to wait for 1-2 weeks even though it said "IN STOCK" on their website. Of course after more than two weeks it's still not available. Don't waste your time there."

"Seems to be a scam. I ordered my Nikon on 16 January, with delivery date of 28 January. Its February 10th now, with no delivery and no word from onpoint. I have tried calling their provided number unsuccessfully.

Pay the extra hundred or so bucks, and go with Amazon or someone reputable. You'll be glad you did.

"I ordered a Canon Powershot G12 from OnPoint because they had the lowest price listed. OnPoint called within hours to confirm the order. The camera arrived on time. It appeared to me that OnPoint was working harder than their competitors to build a customer base. I had a great experience and would order from them again. "

"sadly im having the same issues. I placed an order for a Rebel T2i on Jan 15th. Have had no contact or delivery even after several attempts to contact. They have taken payment and supplied nothing. Hope I can return to update this review in a positive way. Based on other reviews i doubt it.

"I ordered the Canon 60D body only for $746. A gentleman called me to confirm the order, he asked if I want to buy better battery and memory card and I said this is the backup camera so I don't need any thing else. Next day I checked and the price changed to $768

"BUYER BEWARE:
Onpointelectronics lied claiming they had the new Sony A55 DSLR IN STOCK to get me to provide credit card information WITH THE SECURITY CODE to them and promising they would ship it out the next business day with tracking information.

Onpointelectronics is tied in with Onpointcamera and Ontrack, and likely more.

When I checked on the tracking information that was not received as promised, they changed their story to that the camera was in their warehouse and they will have the warehouse email the tracking information that day.

Not having received the tracking information still, I called again and this time was told they actually never had the camera in stock but were having a Sony authorized vender ship it to me who will send it out that day expedited shipping so I would get it within three business days and finally send me the tracking information.

When I called back next, they finally stated they don’t even have access to the camera and, if and when they get access, they will then send it out. When asked why they lied to me for such a long time with so many different stories, their response was “What were we supposed to do?” Shocked at such a ludicrous response, I said “You should tell the truth and not lie to scam valuable credit card information with the security code from people over items you don’t even have access to!”

I asked why they ignored their own policy about notifying customers of delays with orders and demanded information as to who all they shared the information they scammed me out of (also one of their stated policies they will provide upon request), they refused to answer either of these.

The local PD, GoDaddy.com (who provides their data transfer security protocols), NamesDirect.com (who hosts their website), and the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection all have in interest in this companie's scamming people under their jurisdiction or via their services. They have been notified and asked me to file complaints. IN THE MEANTIME, DON’T LET THEM SCAM YOU LIKE THEY DID ME. From the other reviews, they clearly have lots of issues.
