"Terrible company with even worse customer service. I ordered a lens in March. The price was very low.

When I ordered the items, I never received a confirmation e-mail. Upon inquiry, it was still never sent.

Ultimately, I never received the lens. I followed up 5 times in the course of 2 months and was told that it was on backorder. However, every single other electronics site had the lens in stock. Even OnPoint Electronic's website continued to say it was in stock.

I called a 6th time to find out that they canceled my order without telling me, since their vendor will no longer carry the product. However, the product is still for sale on their site, although at a higher price than what I purchased it for.

I continued to ask questions when I felt that the salesperson was being disingenuous. He hung up on me.

I speculate that they actually canceled it because they did not want to sell it to me at the low price they advertised in March. Very disreputable."

"Do not buy from OnpointElectronics/onpointcamera. I ordered a canon camera from this company on 3/24/11. The next day I received an e-mail asking me to contact them to verify the order since the amount was so high. When I called Onpoint they were quite pushy and put on a hard sell for me to buy another memory card and a better battery for the camera. The salesman was somewhat rude and seemed offended that I declined both items. I mentioned to him that according to the offer I was to receive a free 8g memory card with the camera and he said the free card was only with the SLR cameras. I told him I had printed the page from the internet with the ad for the free card when I ordered the camera. I was told I would receive the camera in 7-10 days. On 4-6-11 I called to check the status of my order sinceit hadn't arrived. After being on hold for a very long time I was told I would receive the camera on 4-8-11 via USPS. I didn't receive the camera that day so contacted Onpoint again. After being on hold again for a very long time I was told there would be a trace put on the package. I said never-mind I don't want it any longer. Onpoint said ok. I asked will they would be crediting my credit card, he said yes but never mentioned anything about what to do if the camera arrived. I told him I didn't think the camera was ever shipped. Today is April 14 and my credit card has STILL not been credited. Most merchants will not charge the credit card until the merchandise has been shipped. Onpoint charged my card the day after I ordered the merchandise! I strongly urge you not to buy from this company."

I ordered a camera lense and a Flash for nikon camera Online from this site and next day I got a call from a sales person of a special running that I can get additional items at 50% off Well I agreed to get a few more things and then they charged my cc but no shipment confirmation. I called them multiple times and they gave me a fake tracking number. Then they said their vendor can not track it and will send me replacement overnight. Well no lense so I called. So they told me, they can not afford free next day mail and have cancelled the order. Then when I called for confirmation of cancellation and refund, the Customer service person, if there is such a thing with this place, I believe the same person uses different name and makes up stories., any way he got irritated and hung up. I will file complain with NY Attorny Gen. Office for sure. Also note that they use different name to charge your credit card."

I ordered a Leica D lux 5 online since they advertised the lowest price. Little did I know that I would receive a phone call a few hours after placing the order from customer service. In a very unprofessional manner, I was told that "you just bought a nice camera, and you other people like you buy extra battery and charger and it will come with a nice case...if you pay $99 more". I said I just wanted the camera, no thanks. He then said that the camera will be more money, because "it it not the US version". WTF! I thought. Then, I just said cancel my entire order. I posted a review on NEXTAG and just checkek today. They no longer advertise the Leica. SCAMMERS...beware of this company. They obviously offer the lowest price, then try to get you to buy extras and then raise the price when you don't want extras."

"I was kind of sceptical to order from this company because of the reviews so I wanted to add one of my own. I had great service. I ordered a Canon Powershot SX30 on Saturday 3/12. I got a call on Monday confirming my order. They did try to get me to upgrade but when I said no they were polite and said they would process my order immediately. The camera was able to be tracked and it arrived on time and in perfect condition. The price I paid was $100 cheaper than I could find it anywhere else and they had a great package which included a case and bigger memory card and extra battery. I am very happy with this company and would not hesitate to order from them again."

"Very poor communications. I thought I purchased a camera 3/3/11, and they say they sent out an e-mail the 9th that they were out of stock. I did not receive any e-mail from them except the order confirmation. When I called to find out where my camera was, I got an answering machine with totally wrong business hours listed. (they are not there on Sundays)So I finally got them 3/21, and they blamed the earthquake in Japan that happened on the 11th for the shortage of their cameras. I think they realized there weren't going to be any more of this camera LAST YEARS MODEL, and therefore the one's they had on stock were more valuable than the price I was given which included a nice accessory package. This camera is still for sale on their web site without accessories and more expensive. I took the opportunity to cancel my order with their customer service manager, who wasn't very customer service oriented and hung up on me."

The camera was very well priced (lower than anyone around) but after the sales person convinced me to add the extra battery and extended warranty (which were both overpriced by a factor of 2) the price of the camera plus extras was slightly more than their competitors. Nonetheless I placed the order and waited. Took almost a week to ship out and I could not get an answer where my camera was. This made me very nervous, especially since they processed the charge within 24 hours. In the end they delivered and all was fine, but I had to bite my nails there for a while."
