Excellent Customer Service

"Their customer service is outstanding! A real breath of fresh air from the horrific customer service that has spread throughout businesses in general since Covid. We had an issue with our bank approving the purchase, they reached out to us about it and we got it straightened out and they stayed on top of the order the entire time. I am very happy with how the entire process went."

Mistakes happen * BUT

"Computer screen went blank on my 3000+$ laptop after 2 days . I get it things happen its a machine after all BUT after calling the 24/7 365 service/help # for 2 days straight with absolutely-0- help in fact wouldn't even answer my calls ( 10+) I reached out via email and was simply given an address to send it back. And still no response as to if / when it's going to be fixed or a replacement sent. Absolutely the worst (((( absolute worst)))) customer service I've ever received. Honestly get better customer service when ordering a 3 dollar French fry from McDonald's...... still waiting "

2 laptop purchases in 2 months. Both dead. Zero support from customer service

"Purchased two laptops from Origin in two months. Both were dead on arrival. Sent the latest one back pushing two weeks ago and I can't get a single person to answer an email or pick up the phone. Contacted the better business bureau and the consumer protection office in Florida. These people are criminal. Never again would I ever entertain spending a single dollar at Corsair or Origin. So many better options..."

Dream 4090 PC

"Pro: Great interaction with the team, and PC works great.

2: Easy ordering and quick delivery.

Con: Would have liked an automated email letting me know the day it shipped and the tracking number. My agent was off shift when The PC shipped and I was out of town. Since I wasn’t notified it took two trips for it to be delivered.

2: When selecting the CPU the site suggested the correct PSU but didn't let me know that the AIO wasn't large enough to fully cool the CPU. While, the h100i works good enough it is not as good as the h150i or a 320mm rad. I failed to notice I had chosen the wrong one.

My first gaming computer

"I was told about Origin Computers through my guild master on WOW. He was able to give me all of the details I would need to have the best experience with gaming in general WOW in particular. Even after I needed a new power source-thingy, the staff was very patient with me taking the old one out and installing the new one even though I am partially color blind.
I would recommend and have recommended this company to others whenever they ask where I bought mine. Sylvane Funding was the best part of owning my own customized computer. It is all paid for now and all mine.

Amazing support

"I got my pc from them on the 29th of December 2023. Came in a big ole wooden box, locked up tight like Fort Knox! Everything is going great with it, it is an absolute power house and it looks amazing. I sent off a support ticket late last night because I had a question on fluid and storage, not expecting a response until the next day but at 1am their time I got a response! I was shocked! They also gave me step by step updates when they were building my unit which I have never heard of. Me and my business don’t even give step by step updates on our orders!"

Garbage support

$6000 Workstation PC came with Faulty Cooler

"Corsair iCue AIO pump was faulty on arrival. I understand it could have happened in shipping but upon diagnosing and researching I learned it's a very common failure and that the cooler is notoriously unreliable and poorly designed where the LCD screen plugs into the pump block. Even Corsair themselves state that even a slight movement of the LCD's plug on the pump block while powered on can damage the pump tachometer and cause permanent failure, so don't bump your desk or move your pc while on if you have one.

I am disappointed that a "premier" system builder would use well known unreliable parts in a $6000 "Workstation" build. If I buy a "WORKstation" I expect it to WORK. I'm really not surprised though given Corsair owns Origin now, looks like they're falling down the same path as Alienware when Dell took over, too big to fail.

I am also disappointed that Corsair who used to be known for "Everything they make is good" is selling these bad coolers with known defects.

I needed this PC for a work project now will am delayed until the replacement I ordered out of pocket arrives, as I do not want a replacement of the same kind from Origin.

They advertise 24/7 support but I made a ticket as soon as I found the problem 9 hours ago and no reply. No answer on the phone. No reply on Facebook.

Would recommend to others

"I decided to go with a prebuild since I was previously using a laptop, and found Origin's prices were better compared to others and also didn't use bad components a lot of places add to their prebuilds (lookin at you, ibuypower). The order said it was supposed to ship 5 days after purchase, but I got an email the next day saying my computer had passed testing and was being shipped out. I also had to chat in after purchase because I forgot to make an account, and the agent I worked with on the chat was able to get the order associated to my account without any issues (sadly this is a pleasant surprise after working with some places support).

Now that I've had the computer for some time, it's a really solid build. The part I'm always concerned about is how does a build handle heat, happy to say even when putting the PC under stress it hasn't heated up past my expected range. Being able to run things at 144fps at max graphics settings is such a game changer.

One thing I would recommend for them would be to include a GPU support bracket/brace for these bigger cards, but as they're only $10 or so online it's not the end of the world.
