"I haven't ordered my book yet, but the program crashes every 2 minutes when I use it. Pictures taken with excellent quality and a top notch camera come out blurry in the preview. Program is very slow. I had a coupon but the savings doesn't justify the poor quality, extra time and aggravation. Customer service rep on chat cheerfully informed me I'd have to zoom to a postage stamp size for the photo not to be blurry."

"I normally use another lab to do my printing but since they sent me a buy one get one free coupon I decided to try them. The product they sent was OK but nothing special and definitely not worth the money it costs for them to print a book. It also had errors in it. When I uploaded to their website all my backgrounds were black, I used the preview feature to check and also imported it to another computer to check the book on more than one monitor. When I received the book the backgrounds were all white. When I called them they said they never have problems with their software. They said that because I had Firefox running in the background and I have a wireless set up on my router that had done something to the file. I have heard some lame excuses before but seriously. I will not be using them again and would advise anyone else to be careful. There are many publishers out there with better products and service."

"I have ordered books from Blurb, Shutterfly, Costco and now MyPublisher. For cheap, fun books I like Shutterfly. For higher quality work, I use Blurb. I received a good coupon so I ordered one book from MyPublisher and just received it. For the price, I expected high quality.
- Unfortunately, the cover shot is misaligned so there is a strip of white at the bottom. I checked my software and it was sent correctly.
- Worse, the book prints very green. Even their own wedding templates which are supposed to be grey had green tints in the printing.
Despite the great coupons that came with my product, I just won't order from them again.

"After pointing out software issues, sending screen grabs to show their mistake, they told me to re-purchase. Not their fault. They said I had a problem with my image. Pointed out to them that when switching to B&W, the image shrinks in their software. Their response "It shouldn't do that". Frustrated with my publisher. They do nice work but don't accept responsibility for their mistakes. The customer isn't always right, I get that, but when shown visual proof, they deny any fault. So tiring dealing with their customer dis-service."

"Several photo's printed blurry and several others had red faces. My 4x6 prints I had printed elsewhere were uploaded the same way and printed beautifully. I was told this was an editing problem on my part. None of my pictures were edited. When all was said and done, I was told it was my fault, enjoy your book and have a nice day! Terrible customer service! Horrible!! I am not one for leaving anyone a bad review ever, but in this situation, with the response I received from this company, they are deserving of this."

"I absolutely will not order from this company again. I just order one of their deluxe photobooks and half the photos are either too red or too dark. When I called customer service they said to take a photo of some of the pictures and email them back to MyPublisher for review. My Publisher emailed back to say it is not their error. My high end monitor is calibrated regularly, I recently submitted color prints to a printing company for calibration check..which they compared to very close PLUS some of these same files were sent for another book I had previousely ordered from MY Publsiher ...and they do not even match each other! Extremely poor customer service.
So, for all those who claim how great they are, just wait...I thought they had a good product as well, but sooner or later, you will order a book and it will look horrible for all the money and time you spent...and customer service will absolutely do nothing about it. Well, if they will not do anything to correct it..my only recourse is to write reviews. There are plenty of other publishing companies...ADORMA is great...try them instead!

"I ordered a set of photo albums from MyPublisher for my parents' 50th weddding anniversary. All four albums came in with manufacturer's defects. My experience with MyPublisher's customer support has been terrible. I would not recommend them and will not order any photo albums from them again."

"I so wish that I had looked for some reviews BEFORE I spent the time creating a book on MyPublisher. I have regularly used Blurb, Shutterfly and Costco. Although I've liked these other companies, MyPublisher offered a special discount and I thought I'd give them a try. Without rehashing all the details, I would under no circumstances use them again.

I needed a book of my brother's wedding to present to my grandmother on her 95th birthday (she had been unable to attend the event). Despite assurances from MyPublisher from day 1 that my timing could be met, it was not. In fact, in a colossal blunder, they misunderstood an email from me asking about timing and cancelled my entire order on the day I was told it would ship. They did say they were sorry (tell my grandma), but the order was inexplicably completely gone and I was welcome to go ahead and reorder it (of course that meant starting the entire process over again).

"I did a 96-page MyPublisher book with hundreds of photos and lots of text and was extremely pleased. It was excellent. My photos looked even better printed than they did on my computer screen. I ordered the Classic size with photo wrap front and back covers, spine printing, and also chose the super glossy, lay-flat pages. Other than a tiny amount that was cut off on the bottom and the inside edges when I did full-bleed photos, the book was exactly as I put it together. The software was easy to use. Customer service was very helpful and courteous when needed. Delivery was FAST - I received it in a week by choosing overnight delivery. I definitely plan to use them again."

"The software is extremely easy to use and the book looked nice on the screen. However I was very disappointed when I got the book. The pictures look really grainy (and I set them up to be 300 dpi, 100% or more of the print size). My laser printer gives me better quality prints.

They are also dark. I printed some of the pictures at Walmart, and the pictures came back 100x better.

My advice: get a nice photo album and print the pictures on a good photo paper.

"It should be noted that a mypublisher gift card or gift certificate will NOT work with any other promotion or discount. Kind of a scam, since the books are never worth face value and this site is always running a promotion. The quality of their books is definitely a $20 or $30 value, but not worth $70-$100, which is the rate when you're not using their weekly discount code.

Overall, I'm very disappointed that I was given a gift card for this site that I can't use.

"I ordered two books and was very disappointed in the cover. It was dark and grainy and did not resemble the same photo on the inside of the book. I was told that it was just the way the photo finish covers print (ie they just print poorly) and that there was absolutely nothing the could or wanted to do to make me happy. Thumbs down. Terrible customer service. Will NOT return and use iphoto instead."

"So, after trying Snapfish and being extremely disappointed in the quality of their photobooks and their international customer service, I decided to try MyPublisher via Costco. I have to say, though I was ultimately disappointed with my MyPublisher book experience, it was at least better than my Snapfish experience, which I guess is not saying that much.

I ordered a leather album of 40+ pages and spent countless hours designing and previwing my album. Having spent countless hours already on a book that didn't pan out, I had high hopes that the desktop application for MyPublisher would produce better results.

In the end, I would have to poorly rate the MyPublisher customer service and replacement policy and also the poor quality of the software. I designed my book, previewing it practically a million times, and still, when it arrived there were these weird spaces between some of the photos. MyPublisher told me these were "design problems" that weren't their problem and not fixable under their "guarantee."

However, I carefully read their guarantee, which covers quality issues in their control. I would have to say that the quality of their designing software is in their control, as the preview function did not work as promised. They do not tell you that you cannot just click "preview" or click on the "preview slideshow" but you have to click "preview" then "zoom" or "zoom x" to see any "design flaws" produced from their software.

Ultimately, they just did not stand behind their guarantee or their software problems, and refused to fix the spacing problems that were not visible when I previewed my book online. They said it was designer error, even though I explained that I had completely followed the instructions in their guarantee and preview policy. I even sent them screenshots comparing what I saw in the software design "preview" mode and what I got in my printed book. In the end, I just don't have the patience to deal with their poor book/design quality or customer policies.

Perhaps I will try Blurb next. So, while MyPublisher is better than Snapfish, they are still not good enough in my book.

"I ordered a photo book from MyPublisher one day after ordering one from Mix Book. I received the Mix Book early and 6 days later I received the book from My Publisher - too late for a birthday present.

I placed the order late on a Monday and MyPublisher claimed they didn't get the order until Wednesday.

MyPublisher sent me an e-mail 5 days before I received my book stating, my order was ready and would ship soon. I sent out an e-mail to confirm that it would ship that day and found out it would NOT, it would NOT ship until 3 days later (that is NOT soon to me.) I also paid almost $30 to have it shipped overnight. I did not receive the order overnight and when I asked why, I was told FedEx had an incorrect address. Well, guess who gave them the address? My Publisher would not refund any money for the overnight shipping either.

All in all, my experience with MyPublisher was not good and they will never again get my business.
