"I have ordered the photo book and it came on time. but was very unhappy with the product. The book on the left side binding was bended. I tried calling customer service, so they can send me a replacement. But always a hold music. Have been trying for last 3 days. Sent an email to customer service person Karen Trendell. It said someone will get back in 24 hours. No response yet. No reply back to the email. No body to get hold of on the phone when you call at 1.***-***-****. "

"I love this company. I just received my 6th photo book from them and as always, the quality is impeccable. I order the the deluxe leather books for our annual albums and play around with different, smaller versions for vacations or other events.

Having used just about every other photobook publisher out there, MyPublisher is hands down my favorite and I recommend them to everyone!

I love that I can use their templates, which are great or create my own and it's fun to create books that read like stories and look like magazines! I've had several problems over the years and they have always been quick to respond and help me fix whatever the issue was, including transferring all of my files to a new computer so I could have everything in one place. I was shocked to read some of the other reviews that had problems with the customer service since my experience has been that MyPublisher goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience and happy customers. Nothing but good things to say! Highly recommended!!

"I had a failed upload and called for support. I have all my photos on a DeskTop. I edit and compose on the Desktop, no where on the site does it say I should use a LapTop. The rep I called today said my file won't download because I am using a Verizon Modem...?? I don't have trouble sending anything else with this modem so why are they in the dark ages. THEN I was told I can not use a wireless modem, which I was not. Then I was told to take my file to a Library and upload from there. I asked what is a DIME file and was told it is my photo file BUT it does not include the MyPublisher program. So I have to download their program to the Library computer and then import the DIME file, then try the upload. I asked, well, aren't all Libraries wireless connections since they have more than one computer. He didn't know what to say to that except they would extend my coupon offer...7 whole days while I find someone with a hard wire connection.
Their support issues are useless. NONE of the issues I had were mentioned before I paid my up front coupon for the book. There is no way this company will help you.. I wanted to mail in a DVD but they wouldn't accept it.
POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE.

"I would NOT recommend MyPublisher.
First, I noticed that FedEx had the wrong delivery city. I asked them to confirm that the shipping address was correct with FedEx, they said it was. Tracking for FedEx then said it was out for delivery in a city 300 miles away from the destination. I asked them to fix the problem, the additional problem it wasn't going to be delivered on time. They said I could reorder the book at no charge in the meantime. I figured I'd wait until the package was redirected, I didn't need two books at the same address. The book was then delivered in another city 80 miles from the destination. Not returned, DELIVERED TO A STRANGERS HOME. I emailed back with my frustration, and was perturbed that they didn't offer me a refund. They indicated that I already received a code to re-order and would give me a refund if that's what I wanted. The re-order code didn't even offer expedited shipping or upgrades, it covered the cost of the book only. Needless to say I reordered the book using the code and will have to wait for the delivery again. It is now WEEKS past the date, and no longer the gift I wanted it to be. Very dissatisfied and will never use MyPublisher again.

"The thing I love about MyPublisher is their lay flat pages. Instead of the pages curling up at the spine of the book, the pages just lay flat. This was awesome for the book I made of my trip to Greece. I had one picture of the Acropolis go across two pages and it just looks so much better because the picture doesn’t curl in the middle. It’s $20 to add it on which is a little expensive but they usually will offer a discount on it if you subscribe to their e-mails. "

"Out of every photo book company I have used, the quality of MyPublisher books are by far the best. I was surprised to see how great the lay flat and glossy pages come out as they are much thicker than I imagined and don’t curl up or crease like other books. The size of the book is also much larger than I expected and the image quality is fantastic. I definitely recommend MyPublisher for anyone looking for extremely high quality and craftsmanship."

"I have nothing but good things to say about this company. My book arrived in the mail and it looked as though ink had bled over a few of my pages. I was very upset, having spent a lot of time designing this book. I immediately called customer service expressing my anger and explained what the pages had looked like. They told me to send them an email with pictures of the damages and they would respond shortly. The next day I had an email back instructing me to mail my book back and they would replace it with a new copy. My new copy came in today, less than a week later and it looks great. All the damages were fixed with almost no hassle at all. Thank you for the great customer service, A+!"

"When my husband and I got married I really wanted to make a photo book of our wedding. I was going to make it on Shutterfly… but my friend insisted I use MyPubilsher where she made her wedding book and I am SO glad I did. They have a really cute Wedding design that’s mostly grey tones with flowers and just looks really classic without being too boring. When I received the book in the mail it came in a cute box and I absolutely loved my book. The picture quality is AMAZING and I think the paper is thicker than some of the other photo books I’ve seen. Even my husband commented on the brightness of the photos. I ordered 2 more copies for our parents and upgrade to their deluxe size which is a lot bigger and not that much more expensive. For anyone looking to make their wedding album, I HIGHLY recommend MyPublisher, you will not regret it.

"Whenever I go to make a photo book, it always ends up being like 100 pages. The thing is with most photo book makers, they give you up to a certain amount of pages for free and then charge you $1 for any extras. It sounds cheap but when you are adding 50 pages, well, it can get pretty expensive. MyPublisher has this great promotion where they offer unlimited pages for free. This is great for people like me who can never choose which pictures to include and end up keeping them all lol. I got my last book for $35 and it came with a book jacket and extra pages all for free. I haven’t seen this kind of offer anywhere else like Shutterfly or Snapfish, but I don’t know. Either way, I love their books because they look great for a great price J"

"Today I received my photobook I order from MyPublisher. I was pleasantly surprised to see how great this book came out after only paying $15 for it. This is definitely one of the best deals I have purchased from the internet. There will certainly be more photo books in my family’s future. "Dont waste your time or money.. the quality is great but if you have any problems theirs or yours.. your experience with this company will decline rather quickly.... I'm returning my book only because they wont correct a minor problem. I order the book with the jacket but the book itself is just plain black. they don't give you the option to have your picture on both. So if and when you lose or damage the jacket you have a plain black book. i was disconnected twice while talking with them. Online i was disconnected error message check you connection, only problem with that answer was that i was still connection the light was not blinking and i just resent the request and was connect to another rep smh... This is a award winning company..... UH no guess its time to check out the competition because my publisher is not interested in keep a 3rd time returning customer. i complete one of these books for my family every other year. New Company me!!!"

"I can't think of a single reason to use this company. I received a coupon upon signing up. I spent several hours learning their software and creating my book. On completion I tried to login and purchase my book with the coupon code. After several attempts to do this I called customer service. They denied the coupon coded even existed - even after reading the exact screen that I had up with the code on the screen from their company website. She then said I had to change the book cover to the deluxe and put a photo on the front (a $4.95 upcharge) in order to get the 50% off coupon. I tried that and it still didn't work. Called back within 10 minutes and got another customer service agent. He went thru the dance of denial and gave me yet another "fix". That didn't work so he took all my information and a supervisor would call me right back.. That has been two weeks and no calls back, no communication period. I have attempted to call and "they are not available at this time".
I tried again to upload the book tonight and just order and be done with it. The price on my screen doubled and then the coupon code of Mar50 was applied bringing the price DOWN to over what the advertised initial price of the book way. It seems like every time I do a price check of the SAME book, no changes, the price is different.
I tried to login with the same user name and password and the password was "not found". I requested an email twice and neither of those passwords would work either. They are not available on Sunday so at this point I am leaving for another company. Very dissapointed in their website logins, manageability, customer service and price changing. I WOULD NOT order from this company.

"I made two separate books for my granddaughters, approx. 50 pages each, with pictures and fun stories about their younger days.

PROS:

1. Mypublisher software was very user friendly, you can build your own pages using photo and text boxes, or you can switch back and forth between several book styles they offer and use their default pages. The photo and text boxes on the default pages they offer can be changed in size so you are not stuck with a preset size. I ended up using a combination of creating my own pages and using their default pages. I chose about 4 favorite fonts and used with them throughout the book for uniformity. It was time consuming but a lot of fun to play around with all the options.

2. The background of each page can be any color using their color option palette. You can also use a photo for the background which can be adjusted in transparency so that it is light enough to write text on top. Even though the yellow triangle warning came up on some of the background photos, Customer Service said if the transparency was light enough the background photo would look O.K. and they were right about that.

3. Even though I didn't use it, I like their Landscape option where one picture can cover both pages. Most of my photos were older and scanned instead of digital so the resolution of the photos would not allow huge pictures. The program tells you if your photo is too big--a red line surrounds the photo--then you have to size down the photo. I like white space so it worked out. I had one photo that had a high enough resolution to fill one whole page so I used it in both books.

4. I chose the basic paper and think it is wonderful. It has a great feel and look.

5. Customer support while making the book was great, very helpful and patient most of the time. I had no idea what I was doing at that start and by the end I felt like I had learned a great deal.

6. I chose 2 day delivery and couldn't believe the great service. I placed the order on a Saturday and received the books the following Wednesday.

CONS:

1. Costly postage. The least expensive option was FedEX Ground where four books cost $28.00. I choose the next step up, 2 day delivery, and paid $33 (twice for each set of 4 books.) The service WAS great but I would have preferred Priority Mail through the USPS, it would have been less costly.

2. There was a glitch in the program on both books where after a page had been created, I could not select any changes to the page. This happened on two pages in one book and one page in the other book. Customer service told me to delete the whole page and start over which I did. In this instance the deletion takes both sides of the page so if this happens you can create a fake page on the back of the one you have to delete so that you do not loose your work on 2 pages. The glitch made me feel very uncomfortable as I kept wondering if the whole program was going to crash. I was very relieved when I finally finished both books and ordered them for printing.

3. There were many times when once a photo had been dropped into the book I could not easily drag it back up to the queue. It was very frustrating and contributed to my concern that the program might crash.

4. When I received the books it was obvious that something was wrong with the color as faces, arms and hair were red. A very thin but noticeable red line bled down to the bottom of many of the photos. When I called Mypublisher the Customer Service agent suggested that the color may have been oversaturated. I took pictures of some of the problem pages and emailed them to Mypublisher. They emailed back and said they could not see a problem. I then mailed a copy of each book using Priority Mail with delivery confirmation back to Mypublisher for review and proof of the problem. They received the books in two days, yet it took 3 phone calls and over a week for them to finally open up my package, review the books and send another email stating that they could not see a problem. Mypublisher hid behind their policy of "slight variation in color" and they refused to reprint the 8 books. One of the books had a small ink smudge--they did replace that book for free. I asked them to make sure the color in the reprinted book was not oversaturated. I now have in hand an extra copy of one of the books and proof positive that my request to have a better, truer color outcome was possible. They did send back the two books I had sent to them within a few days once they had reviewed them and they also refunded my postage when I requested they refund. I am very disappointed in their Customer Service regarding my reasonable request to have the books reprinted so that the color matched the actual photos. If I thought it would matter I would try a second time and send them the reprinted, improved book along with a copy of each of the other books AGAIN to show them that the first books are oversaturated in color. But alas, I know when I'm defeated. Had they lived up to their customer guarantee and reprinted my books I would have easily given Mypublisher 5 Stars. As is, they do not deserve more than 2 1/2 Stars. Proceed with caution if you choose to use Mypublisher.

"The say you have a hour to cancel after placing the order and once I found a mistake after the 1st 5 minutes of placing an order tried calling to stop the order and was going to resend but they were closed. Then immediately sent email and called first thing next day. They said it had already been published. There was no way to cancel and they said sorry but nothing they could do. I was out $76! and still had to buy another one. They would not honor the 1 hour cancellation notice that is clearly on their website. I have proof with my email that I was trying to stop this within the hour time frame. Beware.. "
