"This was the biggest nightmare order experience I have had in a long time. I ordered a new TV from kmart.com.
I waited nearly a month before it was finally to be delivered, and when it got here, the delivery driver asked if I was expecting a used or refurbished TV because of the packaging, which I was definitely not.
The driver and I opened the package hoping to see the manufacturer's box inside, and there was nothing but a scratched and beat-up TV. He advised me to refuse shipment, and I obviously did.
When I called customer service, they assured me that I would get a full refund when the return was received.
After another 2 weeks, I received a -partial- refund.
I have since tried multiple times to resolve the issue with customer service, and every time I call they have some new excuse why they cannot help me today. Sometimes it's a new system that isn't working at the moment, and other times they have to transfer me and I get disconnected during the transfer.
I'm furious about this experience, and I'm thankful that American Express is there to help me dispute the charge in the end.

"Worst store ever. I will never in the history of the rest of my life shop at kmart again. I went to Kmart in either Spanish Fork or Orem (I don't remember which it was) and had a question about some fabric, so I waited hoping a worker would see me and ask if I need anything yet there was none (wasn't expecting it to work but sometimes it does). So I went to the front and asked for an employee and they called one up, waited for 10 minutes and no one shows. 3-5 more customers come to the fabrics and also need someone's help, and so I go and ask for help again, they call someone up again and I go back and wait some more. Now I'm a pretty patient person but to wait 45 minutes with no one showing up after being called on 4 times, yea I got fed up and left with an "F you" and two middle fingers to the store. Months later I figured I'd give Kmart another chance and tried ordering something online for an anime convention coming up soon. I ordered some dress shoes and signed up on Kmart's website so I'd get free 3-5 day shipping, got it paid for and started the waiting game again. 2 weeks later, still no shoes. I looked on my email and I saw that I haven't even gotten a confirmation email either yet. So basically I gave $30 to a store that needs to be shut down for being so god awfully terrible. With that being said: Worst. Store. Ever. Don't shop here even if your life depended on it."

"I am getting married in 3 weeks. Ordered two 14k gold plain wedding bands from kmart online. Paid through PayPal so they got the money immediately. Yet, my order was being processed for over a week. Finally received a email stating my order was shipped on via UPS with the tracking number. Tracking number was invalid. Start of week 2 I received my package via FedEx minus 1 ring. Ring is missing. No one knows where it's at or what happened. No one knows why I received a FedEx package when it clearly states UPS in the email and on the shipping letter that is in the box. I WILL NEVER SHOP WITH KMART AGAIN!!!! I am not supposed to be looking for rings all over again. I will not let them ruin my wedding plans and will go to court if this is not resolved."

"COMPLETE GARBAGE!

ORDERED ITEM AND TOTALLY POOR PACKAGING..ITEM WAS SMASHED AND DAMAGED. THEY DID ISSUE REFUND AT LEAST, BUT AT FIRST IT WAS FOR WRONG AMOUNT. I HAD TO CONTACT THEM AGAIN TO GET IT FIXED. I PLACED A SECOND ORDER FOR SAME ITEM..ARRIVED DAMAGED AS WELL. SECOND TIME WAS EVEN WORSE. HOW IGNORANT CAN SOMEONE BE?! DO THEY NOT KNOW HOW TO PACKAGE ITEMS, OR THEY DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT WHAT PACKAGES GO THROUGH WHEN BEING SHIPPED. I WROTE SEARS/KMART ABOUT THIS AND APPARENTLY NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE. UNBELIEVEABLE, I PURCHASE THE SAME ITEM AND ARRIVES IN WORSE CONDITION.

I'M PRACTICALLY BEGGING THEM TO PLEASE PACK THE ITEM(S) CAREFULLY AND THEY ARE NOT DOING SO! TERRIBLE! STAY AWAY!

"I had to return an item which was not working properly from the start. So this was a return of faulty equipment, not because I changed my mind. Since I decided to not exchange the item I was charged an additional $7.20 to mail it back since there is not a Kmart store in my area to drop it off. So I lost money on their faulty item.

If my return was 100% covered I would have shopped here again he though I decided not exchange it. Seems a like a small price for Kmart to pay to keep online customers coming back!

"BEWARE OF KMART

I'm just warning people not to shop at kmart because of my horrible online shopping experience. Don't be another Kmart victim.

My first experience shopping online with KMART. I ordered a pair of jeans and a t-shirt online. Instead I recieved a pair of marvel comic swim trunks. Called costomer service to have it returned. They've been telling me UPS will pick it up. It has been 2 weeks and 4 calls to kmart and now they tell me that there is no option for Hawaii on the UPS website. THEY LIE I went to UPS website and hawaii is on there. Lairs.

I also made the mistake of reorering the same products. I GOT THE WRONG ORDER AGAIN. instead of the jeans and t-shirt they sent me two swim trunks instead of one. Coincidence? I think not. Its like a sick joke with them- send swim trunks to the guy in hawaii, hahaha. Now i'm $120 short and I have two packages I have to fight to return.

"I went to Kmart had a terrible customer service center does not rock I live in great falls Montana man I would just get them to shut down the Place I was going to buy a bike helmet it said on the tag that it was 24.99 but then when we were checking out then it Sad 34.99 so then we had to meet this guy there to see how much it actual was and it was the 34.99 and It was not supposed to be on the rack it was supposed to be on the bottem that hold the helmet man that suck so I ordered one from amazon.com I will never go back to that Kmart ever again."

"i ordered a power rangers samurai barracuda blade toy with my dad's credit card which he gave me permission to use and i bought it it was 10.99 and 18.59$ in total it said it was in stock but an hour later it said it was out of stock...wtf if it was never in stock why say in stock and my dad contacted customer services and they would not refund. horrible horrible service and the worst thing of all is my dad and i really wanted it considering we are both huge pr fans. i would get it on amazon but the price is too high."

"Never, never, never again.

I ordered online from their garden department and then traveled thirty miles to their store to pick up the item. I waited for almost ten minutes at customer service until an employee showed up . I gave her my online receipt which she took and then she demanded my drivers license, my credit card, and another form if ID. She started to walk away with my personal documents when I stopped her and asked why she needed all of that information. She said it was to get the spelling of my name (which was, of course, on the receipt that I originally handed her). I retrieved my documents.
She took my receipt and disappeared into the back room for over twenty minutes. When she came out, she said that it was too early for me to pick up the item and that I should "go back home and come back later." She claimed that the store has two hours to get the item from the shelf. When I told her that it had already been over two hours, she rudely said, "So wait around another two hours, as if I care."


I immediately asked to speak to a manager, when another employee came up to the counter claiming to be the store manager. This "manager" refused to give her name and actually removed her name tag."

I knew that the store manager happened to be a man and repeated my request to speak to him. I was told, "He's not here." "He's in a meeting." "He's on the phone." "He's at lunch." When finally another employee apparently heard what was going on and notified the manager. The manager turned out to be just as rude and inconsiderate as the other two employees. I got the item off the shelf myself and left that store.

I reported the rude and totally unprofessional behavior to customer service and was told that the store manager would give me a call. The call never came.

Walmart, Costco, BJs, Price Cutter and dozens of other discount stores have merchandise that is just as inexpensive and often of better quality. It seems since Kmart has joined the Sears network, their level of service has sunk to a new low.

"I will never, ever order on line from Kmart again! The incorrect merchandise was shipped to my grandson. I tried to have the correct order shipped, but was told I would have to pay for it again. That is unacceptable! I was told my credit card will be credited once the incorrect order was received, but I am still waiting. I will tell anyone that listens to stay away from Kmart as well as Sears. There shipping and customer service is the pits."

"KMart mail order (internet ordering) is not customer oriented. I tried to cancel an order within less than an hour and they refused, or rather their India-based customer phone answering service refused.

At Amazon I can cancel if I need to before the order is shipped.

At Kmart if you order something, it's yours. It cannot be canceled.

INSULT TO INJURY department: not only can you not cancel, you must pay to ship it back!

Never again, Kmart.

"I shopped for the first time at kmart.com and was pleasantly surprised especially when considering the other reviews. One item shipped from a nearby warehouse and the other shipped from a local store so I ended up getting both items after one business day. They had a free shipping promo and the best price for the two items. This beats Amazon Super Saver Shipping so hopefully Kmart can stay in business to provide some competition."

"I have found many issues with the Kmart website such as issues related to not enough information listed on your shopping cart prior to purchase, price changes and not honoring price reductions, poor packaging issues, no invoice or return paperwork in or on orders received, not receiving ordered and paid for items, receiving several small and poorly labeled packages from one order, receiving loose clothes just rolled up in a ball in the box, with no packaging material, no communication to customers regarding discontinued or cancelled items/orders, locked payment information with no link for choosing an alternate credit card for payment, receiving the wrong color or the wrong size than ordered without notice,rude and uncooperative customer service representatives, and a myriad of other problems. The only thing that Kmart online has going for them is some of their prices for children's clothes. Because I am on a very strict budget, I may need to purchase clothes from Kmart in the future, but as soon as I can afford it---I'm gone."
