"I and my husband recently purchased two gaming PCs from Kevin after researching many online retailers. We were looking for custom built machines we could purchase with peace of mind and confidence – we found that most boutiques seemed to offer either good prices but a dubious reputation, or good customer service but premium prices. After reading the recommendations on this site, KC Computers personal and reliable service seemed to be exactly what we were looking for.
I corresponded with Kevin to work out the best options in my price range - his prices were very reasonable and with the large selection of quality components he offers I ended up with a better specification than I had hoped for with my budget. His advice and recommendations were great when I was unsure on some choices, and communication via email was always very prompt, polite and professional, even late on weekdays and weekends. Kevin was happy to answer my questions over several days and many emails until I was completely satisfied with my order.
We were keen to get the machines in good time so when Kevin tested the memory he had ordered and found two faulty sticks he offered to let us have the machines with the working RAM and ship the rest to us when it arrived. This suited us perfectly as we wanted the use of the machines and were happy to install the memory ourselves. I was very pleased that he thoroughly tested the components to prevent us having any problems, and with Kevin's flexibility we had the machines within seven working days (even after some components were delayed).
The machines were well packaged when we collected them, with all the extra cables, blanking plates, installation disks and manuals carefully included. The wiring inside the cases was neat and tidy and the machines run very quietly. When I first turned the computers on they went straight to the Windows desktop – Kevin again showing his personal touch by having our names registered on our respective machines. The hard drives were partitioned as I requested, all drivers installed, and there was no unwanted clutter – everything was ready to go! Within a few minutes of powering the machines up, we were happily sighing in awe at the gaming performance that went beyond our expectations. After we received the machines Kevin continued email correspondence to make sure we were happy and had no problems, and kept us up to date on sending us the replacement RAM once he received and tested it.
In summary - we were extremely satisfied with the entire experience, Kevin definitely deserves his glowing reputation. We highly recommend KC Computers to anyone looking to purchase a computer with peace of mind, you could not ask for better communication and service."

I had a Dell and I won't go there again. I also had an ABS computer that was buggy from day one.
So far, the only issue I had was that it locked up playing a Rainbow Six type game. When I brought that to Kevin's attention, he replied almost immediately, and after updating my video drivers, the problem was solved.Other than that, it has worked great-fast and reliable.
Kevin has emailed me several times after the sale just to touch base and all I can say is that I have no problems and that he sells a great product.
I think you probably spend a little more with Kevin, but they use top quality parts and the customer service and courtesy (they speak English) are definitely worth it. I have found the only computer supplier that I will ever recommend to anyone. "

I received mine a few days ago and have been very pleased with both the process and the product. The ordering process was great; very easy, a large array of configuration options, quality components, knowledgeable recommendations, excellent communications, and helpful personal service.
The system arrived on time, nicely packaged, and without problems. Opening up the box I was greeted by a very nice Antec TX640B case and all the trimmings. I popped open the case and had a look-see inside; again, very nice and professionally done.
The final pleasant surprise came when I connected up monitor, keyboard and mouse, turned it on, and watched Windows load. I was expecting a registration process and a cluttered screen. Quite to the contrary, it boots right into a very clean, working Windows XP destop with no clutter at all; no ads, no junk, just a couple of icons. Very lean. What a refreshing change from what we are used to seeing on a new computer. Also, you receive a genuine Microsoft full installation CD, not just a manufactures "restore" CD.
All in all, I am very satisfied, and would highly recommend KC Computers.

"I did an obsessive amount of research prior to ordering an online desktop. I had it narrowed down between two highly rated companies. I'm ultimately and infinently glad I went with KC Computers.
Even prior to the sale, Kevin and I exchanged close to 20 emails about what I needed, and hoped for in my budged. I had a completely customized system built by KC down to the floppy drive, and was astonished that he had the rig built and shipped within the week!
KC stays in constant contact with you, and keeps you updated as necessary if there are compatibility snags, and gives advice to help future-proof (to at least some degree) your machine.
It was delivered in good packaging, with all original component boxes, manuals, and disks, on the delivery date quoted, which as I mentioned, was very quick.
The machine booted up perfectly and ran flawlessly on the first shot. I've only had the rig a day, but am incredibly happy with it. And, I have confidence that should something go wrong with it in the future, KC will be there to help me sort it out. I was receiving emails from Kevin up to 11pm on one occasion to help get the computer readied and parts ordered in an expedient fashion.
Some components are somewhat more expensive than what you'd find on newegg, but for me, who is only a moderately well-versed casual computer person, it was worth it to know that everything was installed and checked to ensure compatibility and good working order.

"I made my first contact with Kevin at KC Computers on October 17, 2006 very late in the evening. As became the norm, I received a fast reply from him way after business hours. We communicated many times a day for about 10 days, literally 50 to 100 emails at all hours of the day and weekends. Kevin was always extremely professional and courteous and made me feel more comfortable about both my choices as well as my decision to buy from him than I ever expected, or could have thought possible.
I went to KC-Computers.com afer finding out about it here @ resellerratings with a configuration in mind and was pleased to find their prices were more reasonable than literally 98% of the other online stores I had shopped. I continued to shop around the entire time I was communicating with Kevin, and could not find a reputable dealer with a better price package (when you included cost, quality, warranty and after market support); believe me, if I had, I would be writing a review for that place, for good or ill.
Through the entire process, Kevin (the owner by the way, a very personal touch) was extremely helpful at all times. He recommended items as he saw my computer taking shape, some a bit more expensive and some less expensive, always with what I wanted out of the computer in mind. I never felt pressured to upgrade this component or that, and I always felt like I could trust his response to fully be about what was best for me, not for the sale. This alone has truly changed my expectations for online shopping.
So, after 10 grueling days of shopping, researching, emailing both to my home and work at all hours, I finally decided on my final configuration, and the computer was built, tested and shipped precisely on time (seven business days, even though a few components were delayed!) and I have now been running my new PC through the paces for six days and loving it, and feeling so very happy about my decision to shop with KC Computers.
Summary - Price: Very reasonable. Even though there were a couple of sites I could have gotten the system cheaper by a couple hundred dollars, there was always an issue; either the components were not just what I wanted, or the site had a ton of bad press. Quality and delivery: Exceptional; the machine is exactly what I wanted and it was delivered as fast as promised on the seventh business day after placing the order after hours. Options: seemingly limitless options of components and name brands and Kevin worked hard to help me find and get what I wanted, to the component. And finally, the icing on the cake for this company, Customer Support was phenomenal. I literally can not say enough about how easy and comfortable this sale was for me, and how confident I am that if I ever do have a problem in the life of this computer, KC Computers will take care of me (1 year cross shipping replacement for any components and lifetime support is amazing - for no additional "extended warranty" BS pricing!)
In the end, I would recommend KC Computers to anyone shopping. In all areas that matter, they are far superior to any site I could find for the price & warranty.
EDIT: Almost forgot, the packaging was wonderful! Everything came in one very securely packaged box, and the OEM boxes had been packed and taped in such a manner that I wasn't sure at first if the built the machine or sent me the components individual by accident! All of the documentation was with the system, as well as all of the software from each component. I was impressed!
