Definitely wasn't disappointed. I ordered a HTPC from them and speced out some parts and got some honest recommendations about other parts. The price was competitive even to building myself but plus lifetime support which if the response time of my inquiries is any indicator will be worth a lot.

They were very helpful in giving suggestions about which components to choose in building my system. Then they put the system together, installed the operating system and other software, and began a set of tests. During the testing, they identified a problem with the memory. New memory was quickly ordered. All the tests passed the second time and I’m very happy with my new system. Finding the memory problem before shipping saved me a lot of trouble!

"I won't be too longwinded about this. The ordering,building, and shipping process moved along quickly. I had my computer in one week from ordering. Shipping was very reasonable. I had a problem with a bad memory module. Kevin guided me, by phone, to isolate the problem. He told me how to locate, download, and run memtest86. Bad module. It happens. I'm also greatful he recommended a floppy drive. This helped in fixing the problem. A matched pair of memory was sent out promptly. This sure was a lot better than boxing it back up and sending it in. If your looking for a computer, stop here."

I made contact with KC back in mid-December to get some basic information while I did research on the configuration i wanted. I received the computer in late February. I'm not an English major, so ignore the grammar mistakes, that's not what this is about...

It's taken me a bit to write up this report, which is a good thing, because it allowed ample time to test out my PC so i could give a very accurate report of the product and the service at www.KC-Computers.com

I began doing extensive research. I looked at Dell, Voodoo, Northwestern, Alienware, IBUYPower, Widowpc the list went on and on. After reading reviews, mocking up my dream PC on their websites, and calling them directly it was very apparent that i did not want ANY of these companies to handle my build. Oh sure they have all the flashy and fancy websites, with pretty graphics, but come-on there is more to a company than that garbage. For example, "CUSTOMER SERVICE" and being able to get a warm fuzzy from the company that your not just getting a pretty little case with their logo on it. NONE of these companies came close to meeting any of my expectations. My budget was $5,000.00. I'm sorry, i need more than just a pretty "case". I need to know your going to handle my PC like you're building it for yourself. your baseing your PC purchase off a website, GOOD LUCK!

So i decided to check out their review page. WOW!! Tied for first in customer service and the reviews were outstanding. Ok I'm starting to get the warm fuzzy about pulling the trigger. That's what I'm looking for!!

Well you now know my budget was $5,000.00. think about all the possibilities..... ohh yea, I'm putting alot of trust in www.KC-Computers.com to get my build done correctly and most importantly, the after sale service!

Kevin is an e-mail type of person like myself. It's called a paper trail documenting your requests and expectations. So i e-mailed the company and promptly received a response back from Kevin himself. Granted in my e-mail i requested to speak with him about my build. I was testing to see if the reviews were accurate. We exchanged e-mails about what i wanted, what i expected of him and explained upfront that I'm a very detail oriented person. Kevin and i had long conversations late into the evenings on many occasions going over options, products that i knew absolutely noting about. I leaned on him a bit to help guild me into the direction i wanted to go with my PC. I don't think the man ever sleeps, we've talked at times 1:00am and later... That my friends is service. None of this sorry were closed crap, Kevin is a machine tuned to make his company excel and it's working.

Once we got my requirements squared away and the product selection sorted out, I requested to have the PC thoroughly tested before i receive it. Yes Mr.Picky strikes again. Kevin insured me not to worry that his QA group is top notch, after dealing with Kevin on the specs, i had no doubts about that comment. We had one hang up and that was with an item i insisted on having, just because of how it would look in the PC. Yea i know, but i really liked the way it looked. It was the "NZXT Sentry 1 (Meter) for the Apollo Case". The one Kevin received from the vendor came in DOA (dead on arrival), so we had to wait on a replacement. Even with that Kevin still meet his commitment date with me. When i was mock-building PCs on the competitors websites prior to going to www.KC-Computers.com My estimated costs were coming out well over 6-7 thousand dollars. By the time Kevin and I worked out what i wanted, even with a huge monitor, my final cost was well below my original budget AND i got everything i wanted + more + had fun going through the process. Thanks Kevin!

I've been running the PC everyday since delivery and I'm in HEAVEN! I can play World of Warcraft and Battlefield 2, both running on the extreme settings and it runs sooooo smooth! I also do DVD editing/creation as a small business, and for once in my life i can finish a project without a my PC locking up.

Kevin is a straight up class act and i enjoyed doing business with him. I even have a credit with his company for a future purchase, which i requested that he just hang on to, because I plan on buying from him again in the near future.

I hope all of you who actually made this far in my review will seriously consider Kevin at KC-Computers to build your PC, be it a high-end PC like mine or a mid-level to low-end. Kevin can and will get you the most bang for your buck and he will back up his build!
