"All the customer service representatives that I've dealt with at Impact Computers are very helpful and ALWAYS friendly!

Since the first personal order that I've placed with Impact Computers, they have been overly accomodating, and able to satisfy all my computer needs. One on occasion, I thought I had to order an entire kit for one speeific part that I needed, but the rep informed me that he could order me JUST the plastic hinge covers separately. This not only saved me money, but also made it more convenient, so I wouldn't have to waste any other parts in the kit. Since that first interaction, I have continued to come back to them for all my computer part needs. Most recently, I ordered two parts, that I later realized that I didn't need. As a result, the customer service rep not only made the return process simple for me, but also had me to speak to the appropriate person to determine the EXACT item that I needed to repair the computer that I'm working on.

Thanks Impact Computers!! As a result of the great experiences that I have had with this company, and working in the IT field, I am going to contact Impact Computers FIRST when I need to order replacement parts for any work related business that I have.

"Beware of ordering items that say "3-5 days", in 2011 I waited 2 weeks, then had to cancel the order and find it elsewhere. This time I tried them for an OEM part that showed in stock, I received a poorly made part that was NOT OEM, and did not fit. They offered a free replacement, but that order was cancelled the next day due to "out of stock with no ETA". Don't waste your time with these bozo's. Life is too short.

update: they refunded the part, but not the shipping. Somehow the defective part was my fault, I guess?
Waste...Of...Time, money, and energy.
Fooled me twice, I am ashamed to admit it.
I'm glad I was able to edit this and revise ratings lower.

"Horrible, horrible customer service. Took ONE MONTH to return a battery (their error because they "upgraded" the battery when the one I ordered wasn't in stock). No personal contact, all email, complete and total lack of professionalism. Judged the error to me mine without talking to me (I always send back batteries that work with my computer because I like to send things back and waste my time!). Sales manager refused to refund shipping charges (over $20). Don't do business with these fools!"

"We have been using Impact Computers for over 5 years now, and they continue to earn our business. We've been working with Raul Nolasco for the past year. Raul does a great job helping us get the best pricing, shipping promotions, and even tracking down hard to find parts. "Horrible customer support. I placed and order for next day shipping, and because I put the name of my company in the first line of the address field (which I ALWAYS do) and the name of my company contains the name BOX, their system automatically thought I was shipping to a PO box and changed the shipping to USPS without notifying me. I thought I was getting my order today, so I called to get a shipping number. After 3 hours of them fumbling around trying to find my order I was told it was MY fault by Julissa TWICE this happened. Not a "I'm sorry our system screwed you over" or "we'll take off shipping because of this", but basically because I put my company's name, which contained the word BOX, in the address field it was my fault shipping was screwed up. Unbelievable. "

"Been ordering parts from Impact Computers for well over 5 years now. I've never had any issues with the service, and on the rare occasion I have had a problem with a product shipped to me, they have always been quick to help me out. "DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS STORE!!!!!!!!! Tried to buy a Mac Pro PCI bracket holder from these guys at a value of $16.90 a day later they call to say the price went up to $34!! The explanation they gave is because market fluctuations they had to raise the price!! But the funny thing is that on the web site it's listed for $27.!?! BAIT AND SWITCH!! These guys are just crooked SOB's. The kicker is that for the refund I have to wait for 13 days!! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THSE GUYS!!!!!!!! "

"I order a part for an iMac. The site was showing it on sale for $27. I ordered the part and the next day I received the following: Due to the fluctuations in inventory quantities as well as market prices, the price of Impactcomputers.com 922-9497 - Cable, DisplayPort has been correctly updated to meet the market value. The new price is $69.95. Even before the sale price the part wasn't even close to the $70 they want to charge me. They must put prices on the website to get you to place the order and hopefully pay the extra since they already have you hooked. This practice is just wrong they need to honor the prices quoted on the web. I will never use their business again and I suggest you don't waste your time."

"Ordered and paid for a 230W power supply for my HP TouchSmart computer priced at $75 (http://www.impactcomputers.com/kt457-69003.html) but got instead some 150W HP notebook adapter priced at $35 (http://www.impactcomputers.com/pa-1151-03.html).
They may have thought it may be compatible in terms of voltage and pinout, so why not make a further $40 profit, but I won't even try to use their supplied product with the risk of frying my $2000 computer.
Seems they can do whatever they want when it comes to international orders, as they offer no support/guarantee for these ones.
Keep yourselves away from this joke of a company!

"I just had a laptop repaired at Impact (order #896147). Chanel was my contact person and she was great. She was very helpful with the information about repairing the laptop and even assisted me with other options to reduce the cost of repair. I will definitely be a repeat customer!"

"I supervise an FDA regulated laboratory, which means that my computing systems are validated, and can not be changed. Upgrading is so expensive for the documentation work, probably 20X more than computing equipment. When my Dell Precisin 340 workstations ran out of factory support, the Dell customer service person recommended Impact Computers. Impact computers has had all the parts needed to keep my laboratory PC's up and running. When I had a catastrophic water leak that destroyed a $45K analytical instrument and it's PC, Impact had all the parts to assemble the correct build so I could restore a Ghost image and run! No adjustments, no firmware changes, they got the motherboard and all the parts right the first time. I ordered an obscure Dell monitor power supply, but it was the monitor that was dead. Melissa at Impact Computers was great and issued and RMA the same day.

"I have ordered parts from Impact Computers at least 3 times and their service is fantastic. My overnighted orders shipped out on time even when I ordered them late in the afternoon. Their return policy for the item I ordered wrong was more than fair. I highly recommend using Impact Computers!"

"I am having a package shipped to the Cayman Islands. ( 1.5 hour Direct flight from Miami.
My biggest problem with the company is that no one would talk to me because I was ordering international. They told me i had to do everything on line. So i completed the order on line. and took a screen grab of my order. I had picked to have my one Mac optical drive shipped to me via UPS next day Air ( FYI we do have UPS on island) After I competed the order i got a confirmation email with the order number and shipping tacking information. They Shipped it via USPS???

So 5 working days later (and 2 more weekend days) later, I'm still here with no optical Drive. I checked the USPS.com shipping via the tracking number, and the last thing it says is July 7th "Processed at USPS Origin Sort Facility" Well the 7th was a Saturday, and its now the 11th. So I called Impact and my first conversation i just asked questions, they told me to check with the local post office. I did, i called UPS and the airport Postoffice where everything comes in. NOthing. So I called back, the whole time the lady was trying to explain to me that the shipping via USPS can not be tracked once it leaves the USA, and that it may take up to 30 days!

My Main problem with this company is 1. no one would help me before I order the part. 2. they shipped it via another method then i Ordered. and 3. after the fact, they refused to accept the fact that they made a mistake on the order.

All they did was explain to me all the things they should have told me over the phone prior to me ordering. She said something like next day Air dosent go to the Caymans, and that under international shipping they have all these things explained. And they do, it explains that they do ship UPS over seas...

I personally will not do any business with this company ever again.

Thanks for wasting my time Impactcomputers, you sure left a impact on me....

If someone is ordering over seas, your system has to be updated to show only the correct forms for shipping, and if their is a mistake, someone should call to confirm before making a change on the order rather then making an assumption that the costumer was trying to cheat the system.

Im glad that your company prides its self on trying to point out your costumers mistakes rather then helping them complete their order. If it was my mistake for clicking the wrong shipping method then fine, but next time I will be shopping with someone who corrects me. I find it funnie that Impact Computers spends more time dealing with people on a 3rd party websites, rather then on their own website.

Wait, why don't you send me a response explaining how their are different help numbers and some online help email i could send an email to next time prior to making an order.
