"The website said that the Canon Digital SLR that I purchased came with a "Factory Warranty." This is not true - I got a gray market camera with a warranty that Canon said they would not honor. I have returned the camera and am protesting the charge with my credit card company. I will never do business with these people again - I don't trust them. They have lied."

"This order is about to be canceled on account of ibuydigital.com's complete lack of customer service. It's been 12 days of them being completely silent, so I called in to get a status update. I would have called 3 days earlier, but their customer service works less hours than the post office. After being put on hold for nearly 30 minutes and being transferred 3 times, I finally pinned down a customer service rep who informed me that the TV hadn't even been shipped yet because of an unknown delay. The only reason it was even that verbose - full sarcasm intended - was because somebody put in the note when they transferred me. That's right, 12 days went by without a single note in my order. These guys are a piece of work. So I'm going to cancel the order and send my money to somebody who actually wants it. In this economy, you'd think they would want the cash from somebody that's buying a 50" plasma.

Avoid this site if you want your purchase before it gets put into EOL support.

"I ordered Canon 50D Canon body only USA model. I received shiny new item BUT in box originally from a kit. I paid extra for US model BUT I received grey market product with NO US-Canon warranty. A warranty is offered from store only . I'm keeping this product. Hopefully a camera won't break, then I'll be screwed. Warranty is only 90 day STORE warranty and one year labor STORE warranty. That means that this is GREY MARKET product obtained from non US store or warehouse(probably from somewhere in South America). I hate when somebody lies, especially a salesmans."

"Call them to place your order and ask questions about warranty (USA, International, grey market, non-factory), stock status, buy what you want - no more, expect Brooklyn attitude (no problems for me), I am a repeat customer - good prices, no problems, will deal with them again AFTER asking all the right questions. Expect their order system to be "clunky" for these prices. If you are expecting more, go somewhere else and pay the difference. "

"I will buy from IbuyDigital in the future. I purchased the Canon HF 20 camcorder. The price was the cheapest around and the delivery service was 2 days. Unbelievable service. I even had a service representative call me asking if I wanted a battery charger since the camcorder had to be plugged in to re-charge the battery. The item was in top-notch shape when it was delivered. I have no comments on returns since I did not have to return my item. I will shop here in the future."

When we did talk, he convinced me to buy a 3-year battery and said I would be receiving a tabletop tripod with it. The battery came with the camera, but the tripod did not. When I e-mailed, I was advised to telephone.

"Now this is service. I ordered from Canada to be shipped to a US address with a Canadian Mastercard. Fortunately, I do this all the time and the US shipping address is on file with Mastercard. The rep at ibuyDigital was superb and had my order processed in less than a hour. The rep suggested an upgrade package to my add-on 8G SDHC card for the camera I ordered. Now this is positive up-selling that greatly benefited me. Considering how much I buy online these folks and in particular this rep get the highest marks for customer service and prompt response."

"These people are vipers! Run as far in the opposite direction as you can! I paid extra for 2-day delivery on a $300 Blu-Ray player. When it didn't arrive after 3 days, I called & was told they would look into it & return my call that same day. They didn't return my call. I called every day for the next 4 days. The first 2 days, I was told that I would be 100% satisfied by the end of the day. But each day I had nothing - no merchandise, no phone call, no refund. Then, after I insisted on speaking with a manager, & only after they could find one, I got a story about how they had to trace the package with UPS & couldn't refund my money until they completed their research. I contended that I paid for something that I didn't have & I was due my money back - now. They could deal with UPS on their own time & dime. I felt like a prisoner who was being held hostage! Finally, after a full 14 days, they refunded me. Believe me, just go in to your local big box & pick up your purchase. The $50 I would have saved by buying from this merchant was not worth the anxiety, the phone calls, etc. Lesson learned. I'm staying with a name I can recognize from now on. No more obscure, online merchants who can deliver nothing more than empty promises. If I can steer you away from these people, then my experience was worth something."
