House of Beauty are Scammers

"They troll these rating sites and pad the positives. They actually took time to respond on another review site to me yet WILL NOT process my refund and claim the COVID pandemic and low staff. Yet they have the time to troll review sites. Plus, they still have not addressed sending me the WRONG products, with IMITATION LESS THAN FILLED BOTTLES.

I placed Order #2099062, that was supposed to be here by 6/3/22. They created a shipping label on 6/1 but never shipped. I sent emails, posted to their online customer form, and sent notes through Amazon Pay on 6/4 and 6/6 requesting a refund and cancellation of the order. They finally responded on 6/7 at 11am stating they'd check my order, then shipped it that evening at 8pm, knowing full well I wanted a refund and to cancel. Half of the order arrived on 6/8 and it was NOT what I ordered. I ordered the ULTRA version and they sent the plan version. Plus, the bottles are supposed to be 32oz's, but they are not close to be being full and closer to be being filled to about 25oz's, and the color of the product inside is purplish and should be clear/white. Looks like I will have to go through both Amazon Pay and/or my Credit Card Company and dispute the charges, b/c it's unlikely they will give me the FULL refund I have repeatedly asked for send me a shipping label that I just asked for after finally getting the bogus products. Read their BBB Rating....they are scammers. I entered a case with Amazon Pay on 6/14 b/c HOB will not respond or answer their phones. on 6/18 HOB responded only to say the shipment had arrived, but did NOT acknowledge my request for a shipping label and full refund for sending the wrong product, less than full, with imitation contents.

"There are NO return instructions on the website or the packaging invoice. You cannot return product because they give no return address. They do not respond to emails and do not answer the phone. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE

"Let me tell all of you "please" do not purchase anything from these people. They take your money and when you have a issue. Sending in an email is pointless. No one ever gets back to you. If they do it normally after the period you ask for a full refund for a Eyebrow Pencil for $2.95 ends up with all these addional charges. I encourage all of you to report them to the Better Business Bureau and put them out of Business. DO NOT purchase anything from them. Do your research. I feel for all of you that have been taken advantage. They have no shame but greed! Karma will get them all. Report them. And do not purchase anything. "Placed an order for $73.79 in 7/2021. THEY cancelled my order and refunded $10.95. They would not respond to me or the Attorney General Consumer Protection Div of Maryland concerning the balanced owed to me. Multiple horrible reviews on website and multiple unresolved complaints on BBB. SOMEHOW they have to be stopped and held accountable for all the customers they have cheated!"

Wrong order.

"I purchased 12 vitamin e lotion and deodorants. They sent me the wrong lotion. I didn't ask for aloe lotion. I call and text plus email. No response. How can you just sent anything else without notification to the customer with out their consent. That you are out of that product. Didn't offer a refund. I am talking to my credit card company to stop payment. This is not right. You are running a company that will and have no problem taking your money but can't be there for any issues that arises. "

Class action needed

"5 months on and I'm still waiting on my order. The link they sent me with the shipment date (which changes every week) says my parcel will arrive on February 31st. What a joke, this date does not even exist.

Does anyone know a lawyer for a class action against this scam company?

It's like they kept the website on, but shut the business down

"I ordered 2 products from HouseOfBeautyWorld.com 2021/12/6, they charged my credit card, and sent a confirmation email. That's the last I heard from them. The order status page shows my order, but says an error occurred and to contact them. Repeated emails to them using their website resulted in no response other than an email that they received my request.

They do have a phone# ***-***-****. I found it using google maps entering their address from the website:
2191 Hornig Rd.
Philadelphia PA 19116 US

Maps does show a business there with a HouseOfBeauty sign.

The call went to a voice messaging service. I selected customer service, and the machine said no one was available. I requested the operator and was told by the machine no one was available.

Live and learn. There's so much fraud on the internet these days. Businesses like this are putting the small internet stores out of business, and greatly helping the big box internet retailers.

2022/01/15 update:
On January 14 I received an email from house of beauty that my order has shipped. ETA 2022/01/19. There's a valid USPS tracking link.

2022/01/20 update:
The package arrived from House of Beauty, and it contained the items I ordered. Delivery took 6 weeks. So they are still in business, but they have non-existent customer service.

Terrible Service-do not order from them!

"I received a Christmas gift (hair straightener) from my mother in law and it was not the correct size straightener so I wanted to exchange for a larger, more expensive straightener. I contacted House of Beauty World abs no one answers the phone-Esther you have to leave a message and no one returned my call. I sent an email asking to do an exchange and was told I couldn’t due to their 21 days return policy. I responded and let them know I was not returning and rather wanted to exchange for a more expensive item and that their exchange policy says nothing about 21 days, but rather they want their customer to be happy and exchanges are welcome. I have yet to hear from them-such a scam and will never buy from this organization and would encourage others to stay away as well. "

The worst company ever

"I'm so sad and feel stupid. I spend $190 USD, that's $500 in my currency. It's been 3 weeks now and no one answers any emails or phone calls. I trusted the reviews from Trustpilot. I wish I did more research and saw this site. I have called my bank I really hope I can get a refund. It says on their website my order has shipped but when you click on tracking it says status not available. I didnt even get an email confirming my order. USPS is a crap company too i try to enter the tracking code and still nothing you can't even email them unless the tracking code works. I have sent a complaint to BBB. I hope this company is burned down and disappears "
