Can I do a negative star? What a group of organized people!

"My son graduates this June 2nd. I still have not received the invitations on the 9th. They charged me $54 for 25 invitations. I am not seeing the point of mailing them out. Whoever was in charge of order and delivery completely dropped the ball. I am not depending on them again for printed invitations. Keep on them if you order from them. Asking for partial refund since they are so late in sending them out. "

DON'T BUY HERE!!!

"You will be better off sitting in the middle of your livingroom in Indian style and creating your own things! My daughter ordered her things March 18th and STILL DOES NOT have her order! This is completely RIDICULOUS!!! No stole, no hood, no frame!!! She has called multiple times and the response is "it was mailed overnight" or "certain things are not mandatory" IF IT'S NOT MANDATORY OR IF YOU DON'T HAVE IT IN STOCK, DON'T LIST IT, PICTURE IT, OR OFFER IT!!!! AND CERTAINLY DO NOT TAKE SOMEONE'S MONEY FOR SOMETHING YOU ARE NOT GOING TO GIVE THEM!!!! She paid over $350.00 for something she has not received as of May 4th and graduation is MAY 7TH!!! I REPEAT, DO NOT BUY HERE!!! If the school you choose insists on doing business with these people then for crying out loud, CHOOSE ANOTHER SCHOOL!!!"

This company is AWFUL!!!

"I ordered my cap and gown on March 18th, and it is still not here on May 2nd. It has been over 7 weeks. I only got an order confirmation email but still no email saying that it's even been shipped. However, someone who ordered after me got their order before me??? I contacted customer service and they did not get back to me for OVER A WEEK. They just sent an email saying "Please plan for your order to arrive prior to your ceremony." Apparently last year, some people at my school did not get their orders until 2 DAYS BEFORE GRADUATION. This is absolutely ridiculous. I don't know why any school still uses Herff Jones. I hope this company goes out of business. "

Terrible customer service.

"Got an order confirmation, now it is worryingly close to graduation and I have heard nothing from them. When I use the order checker and enter the confirmation number I received, it says my order number does not exist! I still have not been able to get into contact with them despite having tried all their listed methods of contact. Been ~2 months since I ordered."

They quit responding once they failed order fulfillment before graduation

"Last post was about my announcements not being shipped and waiting for a partial refund for shipping. Well eventually they refunded the entire announcement order because they said I'd get them, but they don't know when. I wish there was a class action for mental anguish and ruining peoples graduations. My cap and gown became a huge concern because I get on the road Monday two days from now to head south for graduation. Around 4/21 they assured me, and those I CC'd on the emails I'd have my items fri 4/29 next day air at the absolute latest. I explained how my business had to shutdown for this event, my lost income, my kids missing state pssa testing and hVing special permission to be absent from school, the 1k in lodging, my family taking off work, fees for travel and food etc. And we had thlusands of dollars at stake, because we were dependent upon my having this order. They sent their confirmation and responded with my university giving them support at the time. I sent an email Monday 4/25 (6 weeks 1 day after I placed the order) asking why it was still processing. The herff sales rep for Liberty University said,as I was told before I'd have it that Friday (yesterday). Kellie the csr I've been working with said the order was in the final stage before shipping. Mind you, they were already trying to blame shipping delays on FedEx at this point which is slandering them without even having my order finished, a label created or anything. I inquired Wed night bc of no change of in progress, and asked for a refund. They never responded to my final 2 emails, rather told my university they were going to refund the final amount in a week or so for the cap and gown, since my graduation is less than a week away but I'm on the road in 2 days. Never the decency to email me and apologize once they reached the point of failing completely. So for my MBA, as a high school drop out, battered woman, who eventually lost 100 lbs, earned 2 AA degrees, a BS and graduated with honors, small business owner/entrepreneur, fulltime working mother to 3, domestic violence advocate, finishing her MBA what a slap in the face to all women who picked themselves up and attempted to share their empowerment through what should have been one of the biggest milestones of my life. Not one announcement went out to a single person bc I had faith I'd get them. Ianaged a cap and gown but that's a whole other God wink miracle now posted on YouTube. So I'll wait for the final return of my.money, no formal apologies from Herff, just being ignored now. Truly sorry for everyone going through this now. I hope some sort of legal action is taken on this company. "

Why do people still use them

"Are you expecting a cap and gown for your graduation?? Well, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY... Unless you are physically picking up your stuff and paying for it there do not use this company. Absolutely NO transparency or communication and it looks like I won't have a cap and gown for my photos or graduation! So fun!!! I literally order well over a month ago and still waiting on it after they said it would be shipped out on April 1st. After that no update and still no cap or gown! (it's April 18th) I need to get a full refund because I paid the shipping fee and now I'm gonna have to go buy it through another vendor. Should be estactic about graduation but it seems like they don't care and I'm out $75... PLEASE USE ANY OTHER COMPANY"

We are still waiting for products orders in January, and I finally informed I would have wait until May for the graduation announcement cards to arrive. Horrible customer service!!!!!

"I ordered the cap/gown package with stole hood and announcements. Announcements were of low quality in small font. The hood looks unfinished and lots of unraveling. I needed additional announcements and placed an order on 3/24. On 4/2 I was told the order would ship on 4/8 On 4/11 I was told the announcements were being placed in a box awaiting a shiiping label. I was also by the CSR that she would personally walk over to get the status and notify me with an update. NEVER HAPPENED!!! Placed a call in 4/13 CSR offered no assistance in tracking the order but was quick to process a cancellation. This is indicative of an order that has not been fulfilled. In most cases you can’t cancel an order when it’s prepared for shipping.
I was told the supervisors were too busy to speak to me. I really hope my school is looking at other companies for its graduating students because if I have to purchase my regalia from them after completing my masters I Won’t Walk!!!! I refuse to patronize POOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE at any cost!!!!!!!

Useless Customer Service

"I purchased the Souvenir Tassel for $12.99 with delivery of $14.95.
To begin, the customer service is atrocious. I received the incorrect Tassel for the third time, regardless of how many times I attempted to rectify the situation with customer service representatives. It's completely pointless and a waste of time. After they sent me the wrong order twice, I called customer service because the email stated "please review your order upon receipt to ensure accuracy," and I waited 45 minutes on the phone. "Brenda" answered who immediately complained about how many customers she had been dealing with and told me the only way to ensure accuracy was to open the box when I received. How disgusting her answer was to a customer trying to correct the purchase. Why would I call and verify the accuracy if I am going to receive a response like this? They've messed up my order twice, and this is the response that a customer should receive? My order arrived yesterday. As I expected, they sent me another incorrect order. And it's the third time in a row. As a result, I called back (after another 40 minutes). At this point, I'm irritated and resentful that I placed an order with this company. "someone" answered the phone; I informed her of the problem and requested her to verify the amount of my refund. I was told that she had no information of the order's details and was unaware of the amount I paid. And she has no idea how much I should receive as a refund. Thus, she placed me on hold while she sought assistance from her manager. When she returned, she told me that the order totaled $11.95, which is incorrect. And I corrected her the amount I paid and requested refund with the shipping fees. She said she wasn't sure if I could get my shipping back (which is ridiculous because why should I have to pay for shipping if they can't even send the correct item.) She returned and continued to rant about how she had no information about the order and would not allow me speak. Thus, I questioned her as to what kind of company could not even find the order receipt while I was giving out the order number. When I requested to speak to her supervisor, she simply hung up and forwarded the call to another agent. I'm completely fed up with this company and their customer service. This is the worst customer service I've ever encountered. Absolute nightmares!

Graduation announcement

"The quality of my graduation announcements is disappointing. The paper used is of poor quality. Also, the font size on the announcement is difficult to read. I could have made these announcements myself. When I called customer service, although the customer representative was polite, she could not provide me with a refund or a way to improve the quality of the announcements. "

Horrible Company!

"They make their website intentionally difficult to navigate. You keep looping back to the $400 packages and have to be very persistent to get to the page where you can just order the cap and gown. The gowns are WAY overpriced and you have no option but to pay $12 for shipping because they send them via FedEx - even though the graduation is 4 months from now. Customer service is horrible. They are rude and condescending. Unfortunately, they know that you have no options if your school contracts with them. "
