Exceptional in a time of mediocrity!

"While customer service does take a few days to reply, they are super kind and understanding and offer the best service. Shipping to my location is always iffy and they are always quick to reship an item if it doesn't arrive when it's supposed to. It always turns up though. Returns are super easy too. If customer service was able to reply within a day, this would be 5 stars!

My purchases have all been super sleek and I love wearing them. They are all in the best shape, as the day they arrived.

False advertising, bad costumer service

"I ordered a gold cross necklace and was so excited to wear it at my wedding. It arrived on time, but it looked absolutely nothing like the picture! It looks kind of orange, has nick marks on it, is twisted weird, and again, looks nothing like the picture. It is ugly and disappointing, and definitely NOT worth what I paid for it!!! I emailed to ask if I could get a refund but they only offered to refund me 20% or to exchange it. I don't want to exchange it, I want to return it so I can go somewhere else to get a nice cross that I'd want to wear at my wedding!! Also, I would add the reviews on Glencara's website look suspicious. They are all written in the same month of the same year, and I don't see a way to write a review myself, so they look fake. I don't recommend buying from Glencara! "

AVOID AT ALL COSTS - words cannot describe the disgraceful customer afters-sales (dis)service

"ONE STAR IS MINIMUM I CAN LEAVE - SHOULD BE A MINUS 5 Honestly this is the worst and most inept and dysfunctional customer service I have ever encountered in my life.

All went fine taking my order, I actually paid extra £5.40 for quicker delivery as it was a birthday gift required by the date quoted.

Was advised via the (email only) customer help that item was posted and would be with me early last week.
Last Monday I received an automated email saying quite the opposite and that it’d be arriving on 18th March.

About 50 emails later I am no further forward, I am away on holiday and they are sending an incorrect item despite me saying not to many times - no matter what I ask they only seem to read one line of any email message and send silly half responses and totally disregard anything more than the first line of a message.

It is that bad that I actually think it is an AI BOT that responds to emails - no human beings can be so consistently inept and incompetent and daft !

They have no phone number nor any chat function - just a snail-Mail that takes 2 to 3 days for a reply (and if you are lucky about 1 in 10 emails are actually half replied to with meaningless drivel nonsensical partial replies)

So I am now no further forward, wifes 60th birthday gift never arrived - the whole magic is spoiled - I can’t get one ounce of sense from any of the operatives that may occasionally answer emails

Sadly all of this could have easily been rectified with one quick phone call but they ignore every request to call me and also seem to be totally incapable of reading simple plain English correspondence - I have even tried numbering the points and at the beginning of the emails asked them to answer each of the numbered points but at best I have had one point addressed (incorrectly)…

Easily the most inept, ineffective, incompetent, incredibly frustratingly stupid and useless customer service I have ever endured in my whole life !!!!!!!

If you do order something then pray to dear god that you have no delays or problems because if you do have an issue then you are on your own - each and every iteration with the customer service email has resulted in occasional nonsensical half replies (that’s being generous and polite)

My only option now is the credit card company for a refund

UTTERLY INEPT AND USELESS AND (BEING HONEST) SILLY AFTER-SERVICE - SHAME ON YOU ALL FOR RUINING A SPECIAL OCCASION !!

EVEN MORE SHAME ON YOU FOR YOUR INEXCUSABLE BEHAVIOUR WHEN I HAVE REACHED OUT FOR HELP SO MANY TIMES - YOU ARE OBVIOUSLY IGNORING MY EMAILS NOW - HOW DARE YOU - I HAVE PAID YOU A LOT OF MONEY IN GOOD FAITH !!!!!!!!

Worst online jewelry purchase experience(and quality) EVER

"Worst online jewelry purchase experience EVER. I purchased a necklace and earring set that guaranteed delivery by the 13th of February on February 4th (9 days prior). I would not have purchased from here and shopped on Etsy, etc instead, if not for the guaranteed delivery date. Fast forward to February 20th, I finally receive (some of) my item a week late, NOT due to slow shipping, but due to them FORGETTING to ship it altogether. When I reached out to support on the 13th, it took them three days to respond. When I responded, it took them 3 more days to respond. Back to the 20th. I open the package, and what's not in there? The earrings. I reach out to support... It's the 23rd and I still haven't heard back.

Furthermore, the Garnet Necklace looks NOTHING like the website picture. It's "bloppy", not as crisp or rounded, and looks overall lesser quality. Now I question the validity of the "AAAA" Garnet claim.

I'm returning the item (I'll put in a fraud claim if I have to), and warning EVERYONE to stay away. Their website reviews are most likely fake.

I've purchased from Etsy stores, small jewelers, etc, and this is by far the worst experience. Run. Tell everyone to stay away.

Total SCAM .... BEWARE of this Company

"I wasn't happy with my purchase and returned it for my 30day return policy refund. I spent weeks emailing about my refund and received nothing from the so called customer service people. I had to dispute the charge with AMEX and they reversed the charges within a day. This must be their practice of not refunding returns and AMEX has dealt with this company before ... BEWARE of this company BEWARE"

Horrible in every sense

"They won't let you leave a review on Google, how convenient. From email communication, which is nill, to receiving the merchandise, is awful. They do not respond to emails, and once I got the necklaces, I honestly thought I got this from a penny machine outside a supermarket. It was the thinnest piece of nonsense I've ever seen. Such a waste of money, I'd never give it as a gift. Their reviews on their webpage are all false!"

Glencara Scam explained

"The scam: half the purchasers' money is simply taken. Half of revenue is then available to fund profit and the lucky purchasers who get a super raving deal and prompt delivery: half of transactions are 5-star ratings. This tempts more purchasers. And then half of transactions is 1-star ratings from the victims. You will be super happy or totally ripped off - flip a coin to find out.

Invoice: 210395032 Paid $407.99

Never arrived. Allegedly produced - false. Allegedly dispatched - false. Allegedly being investigated etc etc etc
Discovered: No registered address. No legal entity. Incognito online presence.
By now 15 queries with different promises. Then referred to An Post. An Post referred me back to Glencara. etc etc etc

Never received and nothing but lies

"Ordered my daughter's big Christmas present on November 27 of 2023. Received a confirmation email saying it was mailed December 5th, guaranteed delivery for Christmas. Kept emailing them asking for some type of tracking number and who was the carrier so that I could find out where the product was. They would never tell me anything. Now, two month's time later, still no jewelry and my credit card company is charging me interest on the "purchase." On January 22, 2024, I get an email saying it was never their intention to give me bad service and that the necklace was going into production!?! Pathetic, horrendous, deceitful, and awful do not even come close to describing this company. I will have the item appraised if I ever get it as I do not trust this company AT ALL. Run away as fast as you can. Funny anecdote, is that I apologized to my daughter on Christmas Day and showed her my order and confirmation. She laughed when she saw it because her mother had also ordered a present for our daughter from Glencara, and she, too, never received it. This company is so dreadful that I am putting my personal phone number of ***-***-**** so that if anyone wants to verify this review is real, go ahead and call! Zero stars if I could."

Horrible experience and worse customer service ever.

"I bought my wife a necklace with a pendant for Christmas. Now this was not just suppose to be just any piece of jewelry so I ordered it way in advance for Christmas. The jewelry made it right at Christmas. My wife opened the box and smiled, but I could tell something was not right and she was playing it off with the look of why would he buy me that. By the way she opened the gift in front of everyone at family Christmas. I was enraged when I looked at the jewelry and seen 2 broken chains in the box, a pendant that looked like custom jewelry, and the necklace that I did order was not even the correct order. I then had to e-mail them because you can not call like it states you can. I fought with GlenCara for weeks and they made me pay for shipping to send it all back to them by certified mail and then track the package myself. After the package arrives you then have to contact them again and let the company know that the package has been delivered and give them the tracking number. This is where I still am. I sent the jewelry back, emailed them that the jewelry was delivered 01/10/2024 and the tracking number. I have yet to from anyone from this company after three e-mails now.
