Order: #P541691 I ordered a battery, which I received rather quickly. However, since it was a cheap knock-off it did not fit properly so it would charge. After quite a few emails I finally was able to get a store credit so I could order the "correct" battery. Few emails later they agreed to replace it if I could give them all information from my laptop, make, model, etc. Yet again, more emails, they lost my information. Forwarded them a copy of the order and I still have not heard from them and it has been over two weeks. I will never do business with this company and will be putting a warning to potential customers on Facebook.

"Product that arrived at my house was not product pictured. Pictured product was 120 GB XBox360 Hard drive, new in manufacturer's packaging (with transfer cable and transfer disc). What arrived was a 120 GB hard drive in a pink zip-loc bag, sans cable or disc. After purchasing the disc and cable directly from Microsoft, I hooked up the HDD to my Xbox to begin to transfer content, and the XBox would not recognize the hard drive. Wrong product and faulty product. Two strikes. I'm not going to stick around for a third, I can guarantee you that."

"This company stinks. Ordered a battery that their site said was compatible with my Toshiba Satellite. Received the battery and the size and specs did not match those of my original. The label in the so-called compatible replacement cited 3 batteries it did replace... none of which were mine. Upon asking the simple question of the "battery experts"... would this battery work in my laptop? I was told, "try it in your computer and if it does not work, you can return it". By the way refunds come in 2-4 weeks and shipping charges are not refunded. They do not answer their "contact us" phone, voice mail only. What a bunch of crap. Do not buy from this company. "

"The product ordered NEVER worked. I have returned it twice. I purchased the product and a warranty -- money down the drain!

Gizmos2go's customer service is TERRIBLE. I have received only emails -- no phone number available. The emails are curt and written by someone that does not good English skills.

I will NEVER purhcase from them again -- please read other reviews that reflect my experience. Don't buy from them.

"Worst online store I've experienced. They sent the wrong item, and then did not respond to emails, voicemails, or fax letters asking to confirm they had the correct item in stock. They have a 7-day policy that requires replacement or store credit! No refunds! They keep changing the name of their company so this is also suspicious. I'll never buy from them again."

"I purchased a battery for a palm pilot that turned out not to fit (surprise, surprise - based on others' comments). I returned it but only received partial credit - I was hit with a restocking fee and had to pay for shipping. I ordered 2 gel mouse pads with the remaining amount. They were on backorder. I told them that I would wait for them to come in. That was January. Now it's September and I haven't heard anything from the company. They have no gel mousepads on their site. I wrote them a strongly worded email last week which actually did get their attention. Their response? They sent me 2 links for my store credit, which turned out to be backdoor admin links to their website! This company doesn't know their butt from a hole in the ground!
I will never do business with this company again. Not because of the screwup - that happens - but because of the poor customer service. The responses I do get from them are not apologies, but quick three or four word responses. I believe they are a fly-by-the-seat-of-their-pants company; they cannot speak English and can barely write it, which is why they will not communicate with their customers.

"DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE CROOKS! They advertise one thing and send you something inferior! Their customer service is a non-existent joke! I had to send back 2 incorrect shipments before giving up, and then they refunded only 59% of my original purchase price, NOT including the cost of my 2 returns! THEY ACTUALLY DEDUCTED THEIR SHIPPING & HANDLING COSTS FOR THE 2 INCORRECT REPLACEMENTS! DON'T BE STUPID! I had to file a VISA Dispute against them and they wouldn't even respond to that! Not only that, they will not allow bad reviews to be posted on their website! CHECK THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME!"

"I recently ordered a refurbished PDA from gizmos2go.com. On the positive side, I did receive the product in good time and in good condition. However, shortly after my purchase, I started seeing unauthorized charges on my card. Since this is the only online purchase I've made with this card recently, the connection to gizmos2go.com is certain. Since then, I have read numerous reviews from other customers with the same experience. Since this problem seems to go back several years, either the company doesn't care about securing customer data, or they are stealing the data themselves.

Also, there are a couple of points you need to be aware of. First, the company does not offer refunds for ANY reason and will not credit shipping charges, which are excessive. If you have to return an item, you pay for the return shipping. Although this may be legal, it is unethical as it leaves the customer with no recourse and further expenses even if the company is clearly at fault. Second, they offer rewards for positive reviews, so take any positive review with a grain of salt.

I got lucky this time, but I won't be taking my chances with them again.

"I purchased a laptop battery from ETechTronics, when I installed the battery I received an error message stating that it was an incorrect battery and unless I removed it there may be irreparable damage. I tried contacting them by email at least ten times with no return contact. I phoned them after finally finding a phone number to contact them from Visa to put in a dispute claim for fraud. They have good prices but their merchandise is questionable and they have NO Customer Service, literally none. No one answers questions, no one answers the phone calls and no one returns phone calls, no one answers snail mail either. I finally returned the product to the address on their "Merchandise Return Form" and then finally received an email that said to send the item to a different address, after I had already returned it to the first address. Then I tried getting in touch with them again without any luck. Good luck staying in business ETechTronics! Oh and by the way ETechTronics bills through Gizmos. So I would trust neither."

"I ordered a laptop batter online from them and it didn't work. I returned it for another & that one didn't work. I asked for a refund & was given an online "git certificate (no cash refunds) for only a fraction of the original order. I ordered something with the gift certificate and was told it was on the way but the tracking # was not recognized by UPS. When I asked about this they backordered my order then sent me an email saying I had another gift certificate in the amount of the order. They will not answer my questions!"

"The worst on-line experience I have had. False advertising, bad products, unbelievable return policies and no contact capability except e-mail. I ordered an HP IPAQ in June for $279 + $12 for shipping. Delivery took 2 weeks and the battery would not charge. Returned it at my expense. Received another HP IPAQ (I had to pay shipping again)and it also could not charge the battery. Returned it and received a gift certificate to pick a different product. The gift certificate was for $222. When I e-mailed why my initial payment had been reduced by $56 they said there was a restocking fee. Although I complained bitterly via e-mail all I got was platitudes. I finally ordered a Palm PDA that was priced at about the gift certificate value but I had to pay the shipping cost again. Fortunately, the Palm has performed OK."
