"I ordered a PDA and some accessories as a Christmas gift for husband, and was notified that the items had been shipped 12/19, with expected delivery 12/22/06. I tried to track the package but was unsuccessful. When I hadn't received the items by 12/26, I notified Gizmos2Go & was told I would receive a replacement if the package wasn't found within 7 days. On 1/4/07, I got an e-mail from them saying they've issued me a refund instead of sending the PDA as promised. I went to their web-site, and the PDA I'd ordered was now $40 more than it had been when I ordered it! I wrote them another e-mail and said I didn't want a refund, but a replacement as they had promised, at the price I'd originally paid...no answer from them this time...I'd call that shady dealing at best!"

"I ordered software from Gizmos2go and after my card was charged, I received an email informing me that the software was on back order and they would refund the money back to my credit card. It's been a month and they have not refunded me the money. I'll never order from Gizmos2go again. EVER!"

"The absolute WORST customer service (or complete lack of it) I have ever experienced. NO product, NO tracking information, NO way of contacting the company directly, NO response to e-mails, NO phone number.

I received a backorder notice after multiple e-mail complaints. Then when the product FINALLY arrived nearly a MONTH after I placed the order it was the WRONG PRODUCT! (Gee, what a shock) They sent me a version of the software that was four versions (yes, FOUR) older than what I ordered.

These guys are the absolute epitome of what people worry about when placing an online order. BEWARE!!

"I was well pleased with the products listed and the means to place my order from Gizmos2go.com. The items I was searching for were located very easy along with all the accessories. When I placed the purchase order, all the steps were completed successfully. I am please with their website and their process used to purchase selected items. It is a good website and I will use them again in the future.

"I bought a pda battery that costed me 22dollars.i was sure on what i bought. i payed 40dollars for shipping fees because i live in italy.I am not so stupid to spend 40dollars for shipping but it was the only store in the world that said to have that battery. they sent me a different battery and after i advised them of the error they told me to send it back. i payed 6 or 7 dollars for shipping fees to the US. instead of exchanging me the battery they sent me 22 dollars so i lost 40dollars for shipping fees. after different letters they sent me back only 10dollars so gizmos2go earned 30dollars and refuses to give me money back. nice way to earn money"

"Order was placed and received confirmation noting that the order had been "Queued" with no explanation as to what that meant (was my order in line to be shipped? was there a wait for the item?) After a week and still hearing nothing further, I wrote asking for information. I got a response that they'd been busy because of the holidays and that the order would be shipped this week. Several days later, with no other communication from them, I see my bank account has been credited with the money from this purchase.

In short, communication is awful, and they don't really seem to know what they're doing within their own company. Glad I noticed the money while there was still time to shop before Christmas, rather than waiting for a notice from them.

"I purchased as described one New Palm Z22 ($78.88), they sent me a used one with lots of scratches on it. I complained about it and asked for a full refund. They refunded me the price of the Palm and not the shipping ($12.00). It is not my fault they sent me a used item, if it was a new item I would kept it anyway. I spent $ 7.40 to return the item to them via certified mail. Dealing with them is a waste of money and effort. This is a nice way of making money and ripping off innocent customers of not refunding shipping (I bet they paid less than $12.00 for shipping). I will never buy from them. I have written to them to refund $12.00 shipping to me otherwise, I am claiming a charge back from my Credit Card issuer. Total waste of effort, time and money. Never, Never again will buy from Gizmos2go.com - Period."

"The product was just as described, however, it would've been nice to have an owner's manual. The customer service was AWFUL!! The tracking information I was given was not updated regulary, and UPS told me the package looked to be lost. Gizmostogo would not call them to trace the package and would not give a phone number so that I could call them. They only sent very short emails. I will never buy from them again."

"We purchased an HP/PC #1945. We sent it back on 09/19/06 with problems and were told a new one was on the way. We were told that a new PC was on the way on 10/10/06. It does not take 14 days to get from CA. to MN. It is now 10/24/06 and we still have not recieved the replacement. All emails to them take days if not weeks to get a response. Not a friendly or responsive group to work with. I am now forced to revert to canceling the credit card pymt. and you know the hassel that is. All I can say is BEWARE when returning anything to them.

"Take it from a Harvard Business School grad - it is a mistake to buy from Gizmos2Go.

The reconditioned Palm V that I ordered was not working properly from the day it arrived. Two months on, it is totally useless. The company return policy - which took me five minutes to find on it's site - is a ridiculous seven days.

Don't make my mistake. Spend a little extra money and buy from a more reputable company.

"They sent me a lesser model product than advertised, and would not send me the one we paid for. They told us to send the one we got, back, but we cannot trust that statement, since they lied to us, to begin with. Anyone that chooses to order from this company, in our opinion, is making an extremely poor decision, if they are treated as we were treated. This turned out to be an (almost) 200 mistake for us."

"I ordered a Plextor PX712 UF dvd burner. After waiting over a week, I received a Plextor PX504UF,which is much cheaper and doesnt have any of the specs. of the ordered unit. Upon calling them, I'm informed they dont even stock the requested unit. I'm still waiting for an RA from them. Steer clear of this place."

"PDA arrived in a timely fashion. Even though it was a demo unit, it appeared to be new and functioned well. Instead of the factory accesories (cradle, DC supply) it came with a very nice leather case, sync cable (case wouldn't work with cradle), and a USB wall transformer for charging. Overall, experience was good. The next time I'm looking for an inexpensive refurbed PDA, I will definitely check here again. "
