"My order has been processed in a timely fashion. I had a question after the order and even though I sent my note on saturday, I got my answer on sunday which is very rare. Good customer support.

"I ordered an RCA Magnolia Cathedral record player that came promptly and was packaged very well. It had to sit outside in the rain for several hours before I arrived home from work and could take it inside. I was afraid it would be wet but it was dry as a bone. "

"Our order was delivered in a timely manner and we received what was ordered, HOWEVER we realized upon receipt of the product (MIRAGE HEADSET W/NOISE ACCS CANCELLING MICROPHONE)requires purchase of another part (amplifier). So instead, we wanted to purchase a wireless headset but needed to return this product. Getting information from Get Your Tech on how to do a return was very difficult. I received response from the company only after posting this rating report.

Even then, their "service" department contacted me and told me that they wouldn't accept a return because it was outside of the timeframe of their return policy. That was only because it was so difficult to contact anyone about the return!

In the end, I did receive a full refund for the purchase, so Get Your Tech was honorable. But I did not order the upgraded headset from them because of the trouble with the first order. They need to be more customer-friendly to get my business....

"In 5 days I sent 3 emails requesting the status of my order, only to be ignored. When I finally do get an answer I am told that my transaction has already been cancelled.

After an entire week from the time I placed my order, along with 2 automated emails from GetYourTech.com telling me my order has been expedited and my order has been shipped, I receive another email (the evening before Thanksgiving day, November 23, from an actual person) stating that my item wasn't in stock, and that my money would be refunded. The item I was purchasing was to be a gift that I wanted to present on November 24.

It's obvious that customer service is not very important to GetYourTech. I am not upset that the item isn't in stock, companies make errors and there is nothing that can be done. What I am upset about is the lack of communication. Because of their error, my money is hanging somewhere in limbo until it gets refunded back to my checking account, which could take several days; and I now will be scrambling last minute, having to shop on the day after Thanksgiving, to find another gift!
It is unfortunate that I will not shop with GetYourTech again in the future. I cannot trust that I will get the correct item in a timely manner.

"On 10/18/06 I ordered a subwoofer for $328. When it still hadn't arrived I sent an email to customer service on 11/2/06. They responded very promptly to say that they would look into the issue.

On 11/3/06 they said, "Your order was not processed correctly by the warehouse. It was marked as shipped but did not actually ship. To make matters worse, the item is discontinued now.

I am very sorry for this mistake. We will have to refund your payment."

As of 11/14/06 I had not received a refund. Nor had I received a reply to my emails asking when a refund will be processed.

Most alarming however is the fact that the product was still listed as in stock on their site as of 11/14/06.

After I posted this review my money was promptly refunded and they responded with the following message:

"We saw your review on resellerratings.com, and we agree that your order was mishandled. We should have replied about the refund, but we did not because normally it takes 2-5 days for banks to update credit card accounts. You can check with your bank to verify that the refund has been initiated. I'm not sure why the item was listed as in stock, but it has been deleted now. This problem does not usually occur. As stated above, we agree that your order was not handled properly and we apologize for the inconvenience. We hope that you would consider removing the pending review from resellerratings.com. Regardless of wheter you do or not, we would like to offer you a $15 gift certificate for use at our site. Just enter the PIN code below during checkout. The purpose of this is for you to see first hand that orders are normally processed smoothly."

After their response I am changing my overall rating of their customer service. However, since their prior feedback indicates that this their selling out of stock items is typical, I have decided to leave the review posted.

The prices on their site are great. If they could be more organized and keep an accurate posting of wether or not an item is in stock, they could be a great vendor.

"I ordered a keyboard for a Dell Axim handheld computer on May 23, 2006. It was intended as a Father's Day gift. The item was listed as "In Stock." After several days the order did not ship. I e-mailed Getyourtech.com several times within a two week period. Their pat reply was that the item was delayed and it would ship by a certain date. It is now June 27 and the item has still not shipped. Within the last two weeks I have e-mailed and called them numerous times to find out the status and they have not replied. When you call them, you cannot speak to a person. You can only leave a voice mail message. To add insult to injury, my credit card was billed on May 24, 2006 for this purchase! I have notified my credit card company about this fraudulent charge, and I have mailed a certified, return receipt requested letter to Getyourtech, to cancel this order. This has to be the worst internet company with which I have ever tried to do business. Never again."

"I received this special order # 16228 on May 27th, 2006 which was good delivery for a special order. The problem was I had requested the order to be shipped to a third party as a gift and furnished the address when I placed the order. I had to pay extra shipping to forward the item to the party I had purchased it for. When GetYourTech became aware of the error, they promply refunded the shipping charges. Yes, I will buy from them again."

"Made an order at 3am PST on 4/25/2006. The item was posted as in stock, so I expected the order to ship later that same day. However, two days later, the order status on the website was still "Ready To Ship." Seller replied to my email at 7:30pm PST on 4/26/2006 after I submitted this review reiterating what their website says: that orders ship within 2 business days. However, since I placed the order at 3am on 4/25, I consider 2 business days to have elapsed. Furthermore, they should not have marked my order as "Ready To Ship" if it really was not.

I realize my actions might seem a little bit unreasonable, but given what others have been saying in their feedback, I believe I would have run into the same problems. Sure, I can't be sure of that, especially when there have been some good feedback, but I'm not willing to take the chance when there are plenty of other sellers out there with better reputations.

I guess I should have read the reviews before making this order, but the really low price and the nearly 4/5 rating lured me in. My refund request was honored promptly.

Bottom line: never purchase anything from a merchant who does not provide a phone number for its customers!
