2007-07-31: e-mail answer, showing a USPS Delivery Confirmation number that when looked up on USPS' web site was listed as GENERATED on 2007-07-24 (five days after the package supposedly shipped), but shipment was not yet received by the post office. They can do that by generating electronic postage, whch includes free delivery confirmation, so they get the number into the USPS computer system w/o actually dropping off the package for shipment.

2007-08-05: Still no status change, USPS.com still has the status as waiting to get the package into their possession. I still have not received the package, nor any further response when I asked them to clarify why the postage was printed five days after the package supposedly shipped.

The whole operation stinks of fraud, no phone number listed, no address, etc. Keep an eye you your credit card statements.

Likely, this will have to go to dispute resolution via the CC company, doesn't look like there's another way.

2007-08-06: Surprise, package shows up in the mail. Even more interesting, the delivery confirmation number is TOTALLY different from the one they sent me in their e-mail from 2007-07-31. And I mean, it differs in all of the last 8 digits. Looking it up on the USPS.com web site, it says that electronic shipping info for that number was submitted 2007-08-03.

Bottomline: no, they didn't defraud me; no, I didn't have to take this up with the CC company, but why ini hell they had to send me a shipping confirmation more than two weeks before the actual product shipped, and why when I was inquiring about it, they send me a bogus delivery confirmation number, is beyond me. A simple: "sorry, due to the shipping will be delayed by approx. " would have done just fine. Instead, they gave me contradictory information that must raise red flags with everyone who knows how to think logically.

Their price was good, but if they would just get their act together in terms of how they communicate with their customers, I might actually be able to recommend them to other people. The way things are right now, I wouldn't tell anyone about them, without a major cautionary note attached.

"It is June 18 and the seller will not respond to me and I have not recieved my merchandise yet still. I have put in a request to the BBB too. I gave the seller 7 days to contact me back but I am now over it and want my money back or my merchandise immediately.

ANS:

3-5 days would have been shipped on the 11th a monday but it wasnt b/c I didnt recieve it till the 19th USPS does not take 8 days to recieve. Also you DID NOT communicate with me at all after 7 attempts if you would have responded you wouldnt have gotten such a bad review. So NO the product was not shipped in 3-5 days I even have a copy where it shows you sent the order to the warehouse to be shipped on the 5th.

"Terrible! 3 days after I placed my order I checked status online. It said "refunded" with no other explanation. I emailed customer service to find out what happened and never heard back a thing. I assume they did not have the product to fulfill the order, but the lack of communication was horrendous! "

"I placed the order on their website on March 22nd. The site said the item was 'In stock'. After not hearing anything for 10 days, I emailed them on April 4th and asked for a status update. They emailed back and told me that my item (a Palm TX cover) was a "special order case" and that processing time was approximately 2 weeks. They expected to receive my item at the end of the following week. I finally received an email on April 18th that my item was shipping 'Priority Mail'. The box FINALLY arrived on April 25th --so much for priority.

I was happy with the product, but I could have ordered it from somewhere else. Other places said "Backordered". GetYourTech said "In stock". That was why I ordered from them. However, since I now know you can't believe what their site says (i.e. In stock), I can't see myself ever ordering from getyourtech.com again.

"I would not buy from this store again. I ordered a TV stand, and when it arrived it was severely damaged. I immediately sent Getyourtech.com an email as per their instructions (it's not possible to speak to an actual human being) and have received zero response after two weeks. I eventually spent about 8 hours in my workshop repairing the stand so I could put it together and use it for the plasma TV I had already bought. I was able to make it look presentable, but I learned a valuable lesson about getting what you pay for. With Getyourtech.com, you pay absolute rock bottom prices, but you get second hand goods and ZERO customer support. Beware!!!!"

"NEVER AGAIN will I order from this company. They know NOTHING of customer service.
1. No phone listed, no answers to several emails 2. Paid for Priority Mail shipping - item said to be shipped over a week ago, still not arrived
3. Pay a little more and get some service.
4. This is one of the WORST online retailers I've ever dealt with. I'm sorry to have to make this awful posting but I do so in hopes I spare you the disappointment(s) I've had. Caveat Emptor!!

"It took until February 9--10 days--for items listed as in-stock to ship. I was never informed of the delay or its reason either on the website or by email. Two emails to customer service were never answered. Despite the lower prices, I will not be purchasing from GetYourTech.com again."
