Paid overnight shipping fee

"I paid overnight shipping fee on Thursday morning. The package hasn't arrived on Friday, called customer service on Saturday, if I can pick it up, we are a business and we need this package. Unfortunately, they couldn't reach their pick-up point, couldn't give me a phone number from there. Now it is Monday morning, nothing changed in the status of the parcel, still at the destination center, but haven't even loaded up in the delivery vehicle. I called again 2 times, and they couldn't help me with anything. Wouldn't give me a number where I can pick it up, nor couldn't help me....Worst customer service experience ever!!!! Never pay again for this **** service. FedEx has no customer service, no help, they are not interested to help if it's their mistake."

My Package Has Been In The Local Area Seven Days-In Transit Since 2021

"I am not making this up! I needed a pair of walking shoes for a special occasion on January 8th and 9th, so I ordered early at the end of December 2021. The package didn't arrive as scheduled so I traveled without the much needed shoes. The package has been in the Louisville are since the 8th of January, today is the 14th. As of today, the package has been returned five times to the local hub that is located ten minutes from my house. Every excuse available has been given as the reason for non-delivery. The excuse I like best is no such house number. Maybe I won't have to pay taxes on my 32nd year of ownership??
I didn't choose FedEx, my shipper did, but I am the one who paid for delivery of suede shoes that will likely see a season change before their arrival.
Yes, I'm mad! I plan to spend as much time leaving feedback as I have spent tracking my package and calling FedEx.

Worst shipping company ever

"Well, if there was a lower rating than 1-star, FedEx would get it from me! From lost/stolen packages, mutilated boxes upon receiving, delays in delivery, misinformation from multiple locations, unprofessional behavior and so on.
FedEx has completely lost a large item of mine that I shipped and according to their customer service, it was destroyed prior to delivery. Which makes no sense, since the box contained heavy metal item that are almost indestructible. Another package that I was receiving was at a facility approximately 4 miles from my house for more than a week and shows still there according to today's tracking. Verified this by calling customer representative on the phone and receiving the information they had and confirmed location of package. (In regard to the over the phone customer service, it was frustrating trying to get to a live person, but finally did and they spoke broken English and had noise in the background.) So I went to the location of where the tracking and the phone representative confirmed. Then I was told (rudely) that the package was taken from this facility to another facility 3 days ago in order to be ready for home delivery. Then this person just walked away. So I arrived at the other location (which is further away from the delivery address) to be told that the package is still on the semi-truck and won't be unloaded until the following day. (None of this was listed on the tracking of the package). The rep at this location just said there is no way to get the package at this time even though he claims it was there, but sitting on a truck, for what I assume 3 days since it was only 10 minutes away from the other location it was previously at.
To say the least, I will refuse to do business with businesses that use FedEx as a shipping method. UPS and USPS are so much better. Even DHL. How can Amazon (private delivery service) figure out how to deliver products in a reasonable time and have a better tracking system than that of a company specifically there for shipping?!?

They should have 0 stars

"They need to add 0 stars as an option. I’ve had 5 packages go missing at the Burlington Wa. hub. When calling they’ve disconnected me 5 times. They also gave me a number that was supposed to be a supervisor and if you didn’t have an extension number they disconnect you. They gave me a number that when I called it sent me directly to an automated voice sales person from medical alert like it was a special prize. They told me I could come pick it up if I wanted them to hold it there. When the person went there it wasn’t available it was on the truck for delivery. I’m still waiting for that package which was due Dec. 21 Burlington is over an hour away. I’ve never been so frustrated with a company. I’ve probably received over a hundred packages this year the only ones that never arrived are from FedEx. They are literally the worst at shipping, customer service, and business ethics"

1800$ to deliver a package

"I've worked with FedEx for years and while they've always been a shoddy company I've never seen anything this bad.

Here's the full story:
We were commissioned to create a mascot costume for an event, due to the short deadline we shipped the costume overnight express for 783.16$ directly to the event venue paying the aforementioned price. We had shipped it overnight despite being 3-4 days from the event itself just so our clients would have enough time to prepare and get accustomed to the suit. The following morning we checked on the parcel's status and noticed it hadn't moved anywhere significant so we immediately called to investigate and were reassured the parcel would arrive in the morning. We called several hours later the same day just to check on the parcel and were told it had been seized for customs clearance and that it would take a few hours and should arrive tomorrow afternoon. Fine no biggie. Come the following day we checked on the parcel and saw it still hadn't moved and so we called immediately to inquire, we were then told that the border service was missing information for customs clearance, why they never bothered to call and ask us for it is beyond me but I digress. We filled out the required forms and sent off the information only to be told they didn't need it anymore and the parcel should ship throughout the night and we should see movement of some kind come the morning. Come the following day it still hadn't left the city and after being led around in a wild goose chase for several hours trying to find anyone high enough in the chain who could answer our questions and do something about parcel we finally found an off duty manager and left a message. Several hours later we received a phone call saying they had no clue why this was happening and advised me to open a claim when I do receive the parcel. I asked what our options were stating the urgency of the delivery and she said there was nothing to do but wait and hope. I asked at that point if we could intercept the package and come pick it up ourselves because the event was already in progress and it needed to be there for the show at 10 am the following morning. After some back and forth we managed to chase down the parcel and get it intercepted - funny how they had to work so hard to"intercept" a package that hadn't moved since the day we shipped it. >-> Once we received the all-clear we drove to Woodbridge where it was being held (a good 5hr drive) picked up the parcel and were disturbed to see that it had been damaged. We inspected it carefully but found the contents fine thanks to the packaging our suits come in, but I am still disturbed to see that amount of damage for a package that never went farther than a stone throw. The lack of care is disturbing especially for a parcel labeled as fragile, insured, and valued at 15,000$.

After picking up the parcel I drove to Toronto, took a covid test, and boarded the first flight for Chicago. I delivered the parcel to the distressed and very grateful clients took a nap then immediately boarded a flight back to Canada. Upon arrival in Canada, I took a nap in my car for 4 hrs then drove home. This entire trip cost us nearly 1000$ after flight, gas, parking and covid test but I got the package there. Naturally, when I got home we immediately filed a dispute demanding to be reimbursed for the shipping, cause we knew they would never reimburse us for the travel expenses even though they are to blame. Within 48hrs we received an email saying that the claim was denied because the parcel was intercepted, completely ignoring the events that led up to us having to intercept it. We called several times and tried escalating and reopening the claim and were denied each time. To say I'm done with FedEx and tired of being ignored would be an understatement so we've taken to social media to share our story.

If you need something for an event, do yourselves a favour and just fly it there yourself, it'll probably be cheaper and it'll definitely be faster.

Note: due to a non-disclosure agreement I cannot say what the event was, nor release any information about the costume in question. Sorry folks.

Customer service will straight up mislead you making excuses!

"Customer service will straight up tell you lies over and over again. Seven straight days I've told by the end of day tomorrow. A packaged shipped 10 days ago and has disappeared at the Austell, GA facility. I've called and been promised everyday that it was coming tomorrow now there is no longer updated information about package yet I was assured it was not damaged or lost. A FedEx express employee said "if your package is in Austell, GA at the FedEx ground facility you will be lucky if you get it by February" He said that there are multiple shipping containers/trucks that have not even been sorted. STOP misleading customers and be honest. IF you order from anyone via Fedex ground, i hope you are not counting on seeing it anytime soon. I will not order from vendors that use only FedEx. FedEx stop blaming everything else if you can't handle the business stop taking the packages hostage!"

Very, very bad services

"Today I waited all day for the delivery of my order which was 14 km away from my location.
Of course they did not come to deliver and the message delayed appeared on the tracking
All the time they find an excuse:
It's because of covid
It was bad weather
My opinion is that instead of finding all sorts of embarrassing excuses to try to do the job you are being paid to do.
I don't understand why the hell it takes forever for a package that was in Saint Hubert this morning at 7:42 to reach Longueuil?
I think that's called amateurism.

"Cant pick up package because my po box isnot on my ID . I HAVE ALL INFO FROMCAMAZON ABOUT DELIVERY THOUGH AND SCREEN SHOTS !!!!! Quick, delivery. Terrible at anti-theft delivery practices.

"FedEx has Quick, 7-day, delivery. But they are terrible at anti-theft, delivery practices, following directions, comment space for providing delivery instructions. This is not all drivers, but recently the service has gone down in that respect."

"Explain to me why without letting me know Fedex

"This company has got to be the absolute worst in the history of parcel delivery!!!! They never can get your deliveries to you they never update tracking, they lie to you and stick it up your a$$ with condescending cs reps apologizing for the delays by blaming it on too many packages. This company has been ripping off the consumers for years yet they stay lin business due to their millions they pay in political contributions, in other words they payoff politicians for protecting them. Minimum wage, minimum intelligence, minimum care

"In the movie "Cast Away", Tom Hanks portayed a dedicated Fedex worker who kept and delivered a package after his ordeal stranded on an island for years and basically losing everything important to him Delivering the package was the last purpose in life he could hang on to.

The movie was great. His portrayal of a Fedex worker was, alas, fictional.

Today's minimum-wage minimum-intelligence Fedex employee puts in minimal effort and couldn't care less if a package is correctly delivered. The computers actually track their whereabouts, but it still doesn't matter. If your address is not convenient enough, the driver will likely skip you and/or drop your package some place else.

A "full day's work" means getting rid of a truck full of deliveries as quickly as possible. GPS is such a nuissance. Anywhere will do in a pinch if the driver has better things to do that afternoon. He can go home and let someone else fix any problems. Shucks, the packages are insured, right?

Which would be bad enough if the managers at Fedex cared at all and would actaully fix problems. But they are no more than semi-organic bots who read the lines the computer tells them to say. If the computer says "the package was delivered", there can be no other answer. Nevermind that the driver dumped it at an address near his favorite bar.

Fedex "managers" no longer manage. They are hired to tell customers anything that will keep them from calling again. They don't want people pestering them asking where their package went. "We'll call you" is another favorite line.

It appears Fedex has successfully fought it's way to the bottom of the barrel when it comes to delivery services. They are now only a small step above handing your package and a dollar bill to a kid on the street.

Package not delivered, customer "service" refused to help

"This won't be shocking, but FedEx has horrible customer service. They continually deliver to the wrong address. I've contacted them multiple times about their delivery issues, but they won't do anything, even hung up on me when I called customer service, even though I was polite. The strongest language I used was malarkey.

When I asked to speak to a supervisor, and they said that no one would ever be available.

If I had the option, I would never use them, but sometimes the shipper imposes them upon me.

I rate USPS above FedEx.
