"I ordered 2 sweatshirts; one for me and one as a gift for someone. One of the sweaters had noticeably wrinkled letters. I had received the order more than a week ago, so I assumed they would not fix it due to their policy rules.

I decided to call the company anyway to see if there was even a chance of getting it fixed. I waited for less than a minute before someone named Joshua Rojero answered. He was more than willing to make sure I was completely satisfied with my order. All I had to do was email him a couple of pictures of the defective garment. He replied to my email in 8 minutes and told me he will gladly send me a brand new one, free of charge!

I was beyond thrilled, especially since I went into this thinking there was no chance.

I am extremely happy with custom greek threads, and especially the service I received from Joshua.

"My experience with CGT:

10/28/14 - placed an order for $41.40

10/31 - CGT withdraws the money from my account

Early November - received a voicemail stating CGT can't fill my order in the timeline I gave them

Mid November - attempt on three separate occassions to call back during CGT's listed business hours

11/17 - I send an email requesting they cancel my order and refund the money
~ automated reply states that a ticket has been created for CGT to address the issue

Late November - I submit the issue directly to CGT via the customer support form
~ I do not receive a reply
~ after checking, my ticket from 11/17 has been deleted without being addressed

12/3 - received a feedback email asking "What do you think?"
~ I replied that I requested a refund but have yet to receive it
~ automated reply states that a ticket has been created for this new issue
~ I go to that ticket's link and explain why my experience has not gone well
~ no reply

12/19 - without contacting me to make it aware that they have done it, CGT refunded my money

12/23 - I go to check my bank account and see that the money was back in the account
~ I had planned to use the money to purchase an alternate Christmas present, since the CGT order fell through. Because I was not aware of the deposit, I was unable to.

53 days: time between placing my order and receiving a refund
53+ days: time between placing my order and receiving a response from customer support (i.e. never)

I will not be ordering from CGT again, and I have discouraged all of my peers from using it.

"Custom Greek Threads not only has great, quality products, but they have a very friendly, responsive customer service base when something might be wrong with the product. For me, the aspect I found most ideal about their customer service is that there is no automated system to process your call, no waiting- there is a friendly voice immediately ready to answer your question. If need be as well, they will email you to communicate on the order, so you know what is happening exactly, and have faith that it will turn out well."

"I ordered a couple sweatshirts from CGT towards the end of a semester. I was a little turned off by the price but I figured it was worth it in the long run considering how many times I wear my letters.
I wanted the sweatshirts to come in before the semester ended so I could give one to my little before we left break. Unfortunately there was a problem with them being out of stock of one item and they contacted me by email notifying that they refunded my express order and upgraded my shipping to over night.
The sweatshirts did come in time and I they turned out better than I imagined.

"The most dissapointing experience in my life with this company!! I ordered (and PAID FOR) a product on NOV. 10, 2014 and have yet to receive any notification that it has been shipped. I have emailed them, spoke to a customer service rep (which she was unable to find anything out) and now their phone is turned off! I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone! One week before Christmas and I have nothing. They boasted that it took 10 bus. days to produce and then the ship time. I think that 6 weeks is sufficient time to have my product. Can you help me in any way????? Please!"

"Though the idea of this company is almost ideal, the service is not. I placed an order for my graduation stole with them, the order cost over $100 dollars which included the price for express production and shipping. My order was supposed to ship out on the 29 of October so that it would be to me in time for my graduation photo shoot on the 7th of November. By the 3rd of November I had yet to get an email confirming that my stole had been shipped so I called in. I was informed that I was correct that my order should have been shipped but it was not even out of production yet. The lady that I spoke to told me that she would go and "personally check on the stole" and give me a call back to let me know if my order would make it. Well sure enough I did not get a call back and had to call back the next day. I was told that the order was being finished and that it would be shipped. Joshua R. told me that he would overnight the item to me so that it would get to me on time at no additional cost. I agreed and waited for my order. The order arrived and it was completely wrong. The colors were wrong, the stitching looked as if it was coming out, the words were in the wrong place, not to mention that the stole it's self was sewn together crooked and it had stains all over it (white stole by by the way). I called the company back immediately. At this point my frustration level was high and I told them that I would much rather get a refund and get the stole made elsewhere and send this one back. I was then informed that they do not give refunds but the agent said that she would speak to management and see what they could do. I was asked to send an email with pictures so that the stole could be remade, I did so. Over the next few days I tried to be patient and wait for them to contact me about the stole being remade so that I could reschedule my graduation photo shoot. After waiting more than 4 days I call back again. At this point they tell me that they never got an email from me and I am connected back with Joshua R. He attempts to look for the email and says that he can't find it. He then gives me his direct email address so that I can email him the photos. I email him the photos and the list of issues with the stole (Date is Nov 13th). He writes me back to "confirm receipt of [my] email" and to let me know that was "going through it now." He writes me back again to tell me that he "just spoke with management and got the green light to go ahead and have the stole remade for you at no charge. Our seamstress will be in the office on Monday (our stoles are hand sewn), at which time I should have a better ETA on delivery for you. We're going to try our best to have it leave our facility by Tuesday." He I go waiting again. Today I still hadn't gotten an email confirming that the stole had been remade or shipped so what do I do? You guessed it, I call back. And again who do I get? You guessed it, Joshua R. Joshua then goes to check on my order. I guess while he was away he remembered who I was and came back to the phone to tell me that he never got my email. I bite back the urge to completely lose it and inform him that not only did he respond to my email, HE RESPONDED TWICE!! He then tells me to hold on and goes to check. Sure enough he found the emails and tells me that he needs to go check on the order again. I am then put on hold. After being on hold for about 10 minutes I start searching for places to write this review, which I had time to complete pretty much finish before getting off hold. Joshua comes back to the phone and tells me that the seamstress is almost done with my order and that he will contact me tonight with the tracking number or order update. He also tells me that the order will be sent overnight again. Will Joshua finally come through? Will the order be correct this time? Will I have to just file a claim with my bank and get my money back? Tune in tomorrow for more regarding this epic saga of disappointment anger and stress!!! "

"The customer service team was so friendly and accommodating, and they really made the whole process enjoyable for me. The letters arrived looking fabulous, though there were some loose threads in the back (I've never ordered letters before, so I don't know if this is usual). The only thing that wasn't excellent was that the help page is missing some information that would be useful to people who had never ordered letters before (like me), like whether you're supposed to take the paper off on the inside (yes). I could have emailed them and gotten a wonderful response, though. Next time I order letters, I'm definitely coming back here."

"My order has yet to be shipped after two weeks of production. They said I would have by the 16th which is tomorrow which I don't see how that is possible when it hasn't even left the facility yet. Also, I don't like being asked to write a review for a company, let alone when they beg for the maximum rating. That is extremely unprofessional. I will be finding another company to place my future orders. "
