"Wow... I'm glad I didn't read the other posts below before I ordered with Costume Craze, because I might not have ordered from them. I had a completely different experience. Amazing shipping speed from Costume Craze! I got it the week I ordered it and didn't pay extra to have it shipped so quickly! The costume was good quality and fit my 2 year old perfect! I would definitely do business with them again in the future!"

"Here is why to never order from this company. The poorest customer service I have ever experienced in 36 years in business. Paid for a costume and received only part of the costume, they refused to just send the part missing that I paid for. After customer service couldn't answer my question, they
(Mandi) hung up on me. Said she didn't have a probelm with me retruning my entire order of over $400.00. When asked to speak to a supervisor you will be given a ceo e-mail address. How cowardly and good luck getting a response back from them. Bottom line...they have my money and I have 1/2 a costume.
Hope this saves someone else from such a poor and negative experience.

"I just had a similar experience with www.costumecraze.com. They (Mandi and Carol) made a mistake with my order and were not the least bit interested in resolving it in anyway. In fact, Mandi cut me off before I was finished explaining my issue when I had been speaking for all of 30 seconds and said that her representative, Carol, was just fine in telling me that my only option was to return the items (i.e. a trip to the post office). She then hung up on me when I told her I wanted to finish what I was trying to explain - HUNG UP ON ME, seriously for which there is no excuse (I surely was not using profanity or insults).

Worst online company I've dealt with in a long time and I am an avid web shopper. You think they'd do a better job considering they sell products that are of a time-sensitive nature for special events. They wasted 5 days of my time before I called them to see what was going on. Now, I'll be lucky or have to spend lots of money for expedited shipping if I find something else online.

This company, Mand in particular are terrible to deal with and I can see why they do not allow posts on their Facebook wall or there would be many more complaints like ours. I wish I'd seen all these other poor reviews about costumecraze.com before I'd given them my money.

"I ordered a lace umbrella and they sent me a broken umbrella with a handle. Whoever pack the item was not paying attention. Their policy is to contact them within 2 days after receiving yet they also after a 30 day return policy. I order the item for Christmas and had to hide it so my daughter wouldn't find it. When I went go wrap it, I opened the box and notice it broken. Terrible return policy."

"The quality of the costumes from this company is terrible. The red ninja costume for my son was supposed to include a "hooded shirt." However, it instead included a hood and a shirt, totally disconnected. The "hood" was a red piece of material that simply hung on his head with a little piece of velcro in the front. That just hooked the two sides of the hood; it didn't even hook the hood to the shirt. It is the stupidest, lamest looking costume. We would never have ordered it if the picture had looked like this. Their response? On the left side of the photos, it says, "image(s) deemed reliable; actual product may vary slightly." So they use that as justification for the costume not looking like the photo and therefore, I am responsible for paying shipping back to them because it's not "defective."
The other costume I ordered is a "Sock Hop Sexy Adult 50's" costume for women. The dress is extremely short-waisted. It doesn't even come below my ribs (and I'm only 5'4"). And the waist is very big. So no matter what you do with it, your waist looks huge. NOT very sexy if you look like you have no waist! The bottom of the dress is at least a couple of inches above the knee on the model, but comes at least a couple of inches below the knee on me. So clearly, she's tall--something between 5'8" and 5'10". Given that, if her costume was like the one I received, the waist would be right up under her bra. But that's not how it looks in the photo. It looks nice and tight around her waist.
So save yourself the hassle and the waste of time, energy and shipping money--DON'T ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. I've now called twice to have them email me the return instructions, but the email doesn't arrive. They say they're sending the email, but they're making it hard for me to return it. My guess is that they'll give me improper return instructions over the phone and try to use it as an excuse to not return my money for the costumes. And I'll have no proof of the instructions because they wouldn't send me the email with the real instructions. These folks STINK!!
Try costumesupercenter.com. I've had better luck with them in the past.

"Costume Craze pictured a deluxe version of the costume and shipped a cheap low quality version of the costume I ordered. When I inquired about the order, they apologized for sending the wrong costume but refused to send out the right one unless I paid to return the costume and re-ordered a new costume (including paying for shipping again.) When I confronted them asking them to send me the right costume and issue a call tag for the bad shipment, they told me that they would only give me an in store credit for the value of the costume and they would refund the return shipping after inspecting the merchandise.

"One of the costumes I received was great and the other was probably the worst quality I've ever seen.

What stood out was the HORRIBLE customer service. They were indifferent to my issues and made no effort to come to a resolution.

I WOULD NEVER recommend anyone buy from Costume Craze.
