"I needed a replacement laptop for my previous Asus ROG that was showing its age. As a developer, I find the gaming systems and really great because of the constant use we give them. Also, lighted keyboards are very helpful and not just to look cool. These days using Citrix and remote desktops all over the place takes serious memory and CPU power as well. Also, development and trading environments have a lot of speed requirements. You can go for workstation-grade like the Asus Pro art laptops with ECC memory and Xeon processors. but you lose the keyboard lighting and the extra toughness of the gaming system. When I had an issue with the wrong OS installed they fixed it that day no worries. I highly recommend CUK to do the upgrades. Especially if you are a developer looking for the power disk and memory you know that you will use. You call them up and they will take the time to talk with you and you will get a laptop or a matching that will perform. Go direct to them because you save some cheddar not going through Amazon or other reseller that just sticks more onto the price. "
"I got an i9, with 3080 gpu from CUK. As an example, you can fly over dense NYC in MS Flight Simulator 2020 and it is as smooth as silk!!! Dont worry, set all parameters on ULTRA, and this thing handles it all without a flutter. FS 2020 is the test and this i9, rtx 3080 is what you want. It's what you need!
