" I ordered a Panasonic Lumix DMC-LX5, a great camera, on 10/11/10, to take out to Parents day at Yale leaving 10/20/10. Rather than processing the order they waited two days to call me to "confirm my address" i.e. try and sell me more stuff before they released my order. They caught me as I was heading back to work at lunch. No I didn't want an extended warranty, yes I know I needed to buy a high speed memory chip. They offered me a deal that was 20% less than the price on their web site. It sounded OK so I took the deal. When I got home later I found I could have gotten the same chip on Amazon for less. Of course the camera came after I left for my trip, because they had to shake me down some more and even ground UPS shouldn't take 9 days to deliver a small camera.
They did send me a free camera case for a Kodak camera.
I will never buy anything from them again. The camera came for the price but otherwise I feel scammed.

"I ordered this Rebel T1i on Oct. 14, got a confirmation email a minute later and the following day, received a verbal confirmation from a camera king rep. The rep was just confirming my order and DID try to sell me an extended battery telling me how the OEM battery doesn't last as long, in which I politely declined and rep was also nice enough(not forcing me to buy) but though I can recall hanging up on me when I told him no thanks.

I received the camera on Oct 22 and thought the free shipping was quiet fast! Today, I was looking around at some website called bestpriceelectronic.com and have the same model for $479 and I was kicking myself in the rear for not doing enough research on the price. I thought if I waited another week, I could've gotten a better deal from them and spend the rest of my dollars on some new lens other than the one that came with it!

Other minor issue I came across, Cameraking sent me a UPS tracking number which by the way, tracking number didn't cooperate when I tried to track my package at the ups site saying "it couldn't be found" and tried calling ups customer service and telling the same thing. Regardless, my package arrived within a week. This was an issue when purchasing a five hundred dollar plus camera, that could've been miss delivered to a different address or got lost without my knowing. But it arrived safe and sound! I wish camera king would do price match on any website that offers lower price than theres.

The camera is excellent and I love every features it offers and then some! Would love to see camera king do a price match on other online sellers.
