"I was very much worried to buy from a not well known website after seeing lot of review talking about bait-and-switch fraud camera shops. But since the price they gave is much lower than others and had paypal thought of taking a risk.

To my surprise i ordered a camera in the evening wih overnight shipping and i got it in the morning.
The product was also good did not have any complaints. It had US warranty card and international warranty, so i assume that it has proper warranty also.

But the bad part is i need to call them and confirm the order. Till i call they will hold the order and there by delaying the shipping. They try to sell some accessories but when i said no they did not press on anything. but i still recieve mails for accessories.
They are not authorized canon dealer so i dont know what problem i ll see when i go for service with canon.

Overall experience was very good for me because i had very low expectations.

I would recommend for people who need low price and and ready to take some calculated risk with paypal."

"I received my camera today. It was packaged nicely and everything looked great. I got a chance to test out the camera a little and it works great. Brian also called and left a message to verify that the package was received and apologized again for the delay. Overall I am satisfied with my experience. Great price, great product and they handled a minor problem with delayed shipping wonderfully. The only thing that is keeping me from giving a perfect rating is that the communication about the delay could have been handled a little better. Other than that I am a satisfied customer."

"Ordered from Camerakings on 11/25/10 and it is now 12/1/10 and I am as of yet without a tracking number for the purchase of a Canon Camera. Newegg or Amazon have always provided prompt shipping (usually 2-3 business days from time of order). We did get a call from a saleperson interested in selling more related accessories after asking if he could "verify the shipping address". I called Camerakings today and they said that they needed VISA address verification and that all systems were down yesterday but I should have a tracking number by 6pm. It is now Midnight and no tracking number. I would have to suggest you shop one of the larger online retailers with a KNOWN GOOD reputation for shipping and customer care. I cannot in good conscience reccommend this retailer due to their uncommonly slow attention to moving product in a timely manner.

Received a tracking number as of the 3rd, product now here - on the 6th. I also received a call from CK support apologizing for a delay in shipment stating their reason and asking if they can better my experience with a few options of which I chose one that best suited my needs. They did make an effort to rectify the issue and I now do not feel as discouraged. Having prompt service is a plus, but at the very least, they offer to make it right when things do not go as planned."

I ordered a reciever from camerakings on 11/25 and have not heard back from them. The online tracking says "Coming Soon". There hasnt been any update there from Day 1. I sent 2 mails to the customer support but have not heard back from them. I called their support today but never got connected to the customer support. At this moment Either this company is a fraud or they are extremely bad in customer service. Will update my review if things change in next weeks"

"Great prices, and knowledgeable staff. They do try and upsell a bit when you call to confirm an order but expect that at any retail store. I will definitely order from them again.

*Also make sure to call and ask about gray market items, some people have complained, but CameraKings is very upfront and if you ask they will tell.

"TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! They called me to confirm the order and wanted to sell me battery. After I refused them, they told me there would be 6% extra charge for insurance. After I asked them to send me an email listing all the charges in detail, they canceled the order without my permission. DONT BUY FROM THEM! The customer service was very rude, they didn't even wait for me to talk and just hang up the phone.

Update:
Their manager Brian called me this week after he saw my post here. He apologized for the issue and sold the camera for me at the original price without any additional charges. He also gave me a 32 GB memory card and upgrade to 1day shipping for my for free. I am very satisfied with their manager and I can see Camerakings does very care about their customers and they are trying to be a excellent company. But the attitude of their other customer services are very bad. They really need to have more internal training in order to gain higher reputation. I think I will buy from them in the future ."
