"Very bad experience!!! This site should be shut down for false advertising!! Said that micron ram was 33.00 pc2700 256mb. If you upgrade to next version it is +15.00. Ok, so i did that... the total was 58.00!!! HOW? That added 25 not 15. Shipping was free so it wasnt that. Ok so I emailed them 3 TIMES!! NO RESPONSE. NO CORRECTION ON MY CREDIT. Then I got the ram and it was supposed to include a heat sink. NOPE!!! I emailed for a missing part order.. NO CONFIRMATION STILL TO THIS DATE!!!"

"Have purchased items from this company before. However this is the last time. I ordered a single stick of memory from them. Today is 9Jan04, and the memory is still not in. Why does it take the company so long to drop a single stick of memory in the mail? I live in Arizona and the company is in California. Why the long wait? I do not think the post office is that slow...........STILL LOOKING FOR MEMORY>>>>>"

"I just hope anyone reading this is doing so BEFORE doing business with this "company"! Unfortunately, I ran across this site too late. I was building a machine for my mother as a present, and as I was starting to get a bit low on funds, I checked pricewatch.com for some bargain RAM. I ordered their AIB256DDR/PC2700 256MB PC2700 333 MHz Intel P4 & AMD 184Pin sticks(2 of them). It took them a while to arrive, and once they did, it had a very cheap look and feel which made me wary to begin with. I tried to install each one. The first was DOA. The second caused a buffer overflow when trying to install Windows XP. This was verified by installing them on my main computer as well, just in case their may have been a problem with the new board I had. I sent them both back and was hit with that infamous
%15 restocking fee. Pay the extra cash for Kingston memory! Never send these scammers money, or your bank account will be lightened by them. By far this is the worst company I've ever did business with on the net. Thank goodness I only sent them fifty bucks.

"Purchased memory through Pricewatch, and was defrauded. They shipped what was supposed to be a 1GB PC3200 DDR400 memory chip with a heat spreader on it and put this label on the heat spreader. When it didn't work, I removed the slip-on spreader and found out the chip was clearly marked as PC333 - not 400. I slowed down the memory and it still did not work even though the specs were exactly what was called for. I tried calling them and it took about 15 tries for someone to answer the phone. They told me to call back in 5 minutes. I did and they would pick up the phone and then hang it up again. After doing this for two days, I went through their return policy and shipped back the chip within the alloted time. I know they received it because I have the delivery confirmation and cannot contact them again. If they finally get back to me, I will let people know -- but at this time, it is nothing but frustration."

"Using their Buyaib.com Memory Configurator page, I ordered two sticks of 256mb memory for my HP Pavilion 7850 that the page told me would be compatable with my computer. Once I got the memory and installed them into my computer the memory would not work with it. I would return the memory, except that I refuse to pay the s&h fee PLUS a %15 restocking fee for something that is not my fault. Not to mention they have the most complicated method I've ever seen for returning a product. I have also emailed the company and told them about my problem 3 days ago (of this writing) and have not got a response back and it is now too late to return what I ordered because I've past the 7 day return policy."

I purchased a 512 mg SODIMM PC2100 from Alpha International Business Inc. (www.buyaib.com) in mid July 2003, found thru Yahoo Shopping. On July 18, 2003 I was charged $77.99 on my credit card. The price included a $3.99 charge for "testing" the memory. The memory arrived on 8/14/2003. Although the packing slip indicated what I ordered, the memory module was an
incompatible speed, (PC2700), and did not work with my laptop. After emailing and calling, I finally obtained an RMA via their website and
returned the item for full credit, as described on their website. I was finally credited $66.30 to my credit card on 8/18/03. I was charged what
apparently was a restocking fee, even though THEY shipped the incorrect item and I had to ship the memory back at my expense. I have emailed them several times, attempted to call them for refund of full price(wait times
are interminable) to no avail. I registered the problem with Yahoo Shopping and never received a response. I warn anyone contemplating a purchase from this company to beware. Even though money is not significant, it's the suggestion of shady business practices by this company.

"This has to be the worst store to buy anything from. This is the second time I am buying from them and I have never been satisfied with what I recieved. The first time I bought a 256MB memory module and when I installed it, the system read 128MB. I had an old motherboard so i figured it could be my system. I contacted the motherboard manufacturer & was advised to try low-density module. I retuned it for low density and the system still reported 128MB. I settled for it at that.

My second purchase was a few weeks ago. I ordered a 1GB module for my brand new system. I used their memory configurator which guranteed that the chip was compatible with my board. I recieved the chip. I inspected the sticker in the side & it was labeled "1GB PC2100 SDRAM." I installed it & again the system reported on 50% of what it was supposed to be. Now I know that it couldn't be my computer this time. I tried calling buyaib.com's tech support for 10 days before I could get through to someone. I sent several e-mails to them & no reply. During the time I consulted other people as to what might cause that problem. I was told to update the system bios, which & did. But that didn't fix the problem. after 10 days I finally got through to Buyaib Tech Support on the phone. I explained the issue to the guy & pointed out that i used their memory configurator which guaranteed compatibility. His first suggestion was "Just send it back for a replacement." So I said "Hold on, I want to kow if there is a setting I failed to adjust or was I sent the wrong chip?" He said, again "just send it back for a replacement, OK?" in a very rude manner & hung up the phone.

I will never do business with Buyaib.com ever again.

"Just discovered that the DDR3200 they sold me is actually DDR2100. They run a good scam, and they know what they are doing. "Ordered a 1GB PC3200 DDR & 512MB PC3200 DDR. Recevied what I ordered. For my purchasing experiences with this company, don't buy anything high density or via only memory. Those memory, as I understand is only for some motherboard. Get something that shows 32x8 or low density memory on their site. Those memory are just about $10 more and it will save you all the troubles.

Overall, I give this company a A+ rating since they sell cheap & working memory. Once again, just spend $10 more to get a better product.

"I CANT BELIVE PRICEWATCH IS STILL LISTING THIS COMPANY!!!! I was not fortunate enough to check resellerratings.com before I ordered. What a mistake!! I called buyaib.com on the phone to place my order. I was told the memory was in stock and would ship "TODAY", I was also told I had to place my order online, so I did. The charge went on my card right away. After checking my order status the next day and finding out my order had been canceled I called them back to see what was up. The man told me my bank canceled my order. I told him impossible as I had already checked with my bank to verify the transaction. He then tried to elude to the fact that my last name was Flores and I did not have a Spanish accent, so perhaps it was a fraudulent transaction. Well being born and raised in the mid-west of course I don't have a Spanish accent. My mother is German and she doesn't have a German accent. What an ignorant racist bigot.

Anyway, do yourself a favor and don't be lured in by the appeaerance of great pricing. You're more likey to get burned than to save $2.50
