"Great prices and fast (enough) shipping. I opted for the cheapest shipping and it arrived w/in 1 week of placing my order. Even with shipping and handling charges, my total cost was 40% less than my LBS. "

"Last order I'll ever place with Nashbar. Their prices have gotten higher, quality lower and now their shipping and customer service has gone into the toilet. THREE WEEKS after the order, nothing arrived. It took several calls to have them find the order and eventually cancel it. Each of my last four orders has had some issue with it- this one was the last straw. Orders seem to take several days to week(s) to ship, things which are supposed to be in stock aren't, they ship me 650c tubes instead of 700c etc. Really too bad- I've bought a lot from them over the years but no more."

"You may be tempted by low prices and a few good reviews but beware. If you need to change or cancel the order 1 minute after placing it, you cannot do it. Very high shipping charges makes this a costly policy for the customer. In addition, they cannot tell you the status of your order. Will it arrive in 1 day, 2 days, 1 week. Who knows? "

"I ordered a single speed nashbar road bike on Tuesday morning, it shipped the same day. It arrived via fed ex on schedule today (Friday.) Order experience was very smooth, I placed the order over the phone (after reading that some people had encountered trouble with the online ordering. I was initially a little skeptical because they did not send me any kind of confirmation or tracking info. However, I called and they were polite & professional and gave me the tracking number. Bike arrived in great condition, other than that the wheels need to be trued, but that is not unexpected since it was shipped ground.

I would recommend watching the site for a while before ordering, they run frequent store wide specials, good chance that if they do not have a deal on what you want, they will soon.

"Nashbar is a discusting and horrible company.
Nashbar fails to give you a tracking number with your order nor do they have a way to track the order themselves.

Be aware that giving your email address to Nashbar will result in receiving daily messages. Attempting to unsubscribe from them does nothing. Emailing them does nothing. These crooks are in violation of the CAN-SPAM Act of 2003.

Nashbar also has a questionable privacy policy. A few monts after I ordered from them, my debit card number was stolen. One of the companies who attempted to charge me contacted me with the same information Nashbar had (my college email, cell phone and dorm address)

"Lousy service. Ordered on May 1st and today is May 8th. Tried to trace using their USPS number, but all USPS says that the shipper notified them to expect a shippment. Will not buy from nashbar again!!"

"I usually buy my bike stuff from Nashbar, they've almost always got the cheapest prices. It's especially worthwhile to check out their Returns section, although it'd be nice to be able to sort. They just re-did their website, so that you can no longer sort by % discount. "

"Purchased a set of cycling socks for $8.99, only shipping option is USPS Parcel Post at $6.99 - They made a good deal of money on postage alone, perhaps to cover for the low item price?

Well its now March 2nd, almost a full month after ordering these socks and I still have not received them. Upon calling Nashbar support they are unable to determine why they have not arrived. They claim it is normal to take 14 BUSINESS days to arrive and can take up to 21 BUSINESS days. They cant provide any tracking info.

Also the only email I ever received was that of order confirmation. Their antique system is unable to send out a confirmation of shipment email. You can log in to your account on their website but the ONLY thing you can do is keep your shipping address, there is no way to review order history or check if your items have shipped or not.

This has to be one of the worst Internet age ordering experiences I have had.

"They charged me twice for my order, and while I have just been assured that the charges will go away in 24-48 hours, I have been charged an overdraft fee by my bank and my debit card is maxed out and will not work for a few days until this gets straightened out. The woman I spoke with on the phone told me to use the call center instead of the internet because this always happens. I've never heard of that. "

"Horrible! I'm in the miltary and live overseas. I have an APO address. Normally, I get mail from the states in 1 - 1 1/2 weeks. I've been waiting 27 days now from my order. In the meantime I've placed and received orders from Amazon and Road Runner Sports. I called and they said I'd have to wait 8 weeks before they would consider shipping the items again (like I'd want them to?). Absolute crap service! Stay away from them!"

"I ordered three items from Nashbar on 6/23/08 specifying 2nd Day Fedex. Today, 6/25/08, the items are here in perfect order. That is much faster than most things I've had shipped from the mainland to Oahu, 2nd Day service or not.

The items are exactly what I ordered. The packing was excellent so there could be no damage in shipping.

I'd definitely do business with them again based on this experience.

"Returned some items from this order. I was credited for my return minus shipping, and 17.95 for a cycling jersey. Called cs, told it was not credited. They told me it was not in box, I told them it was, They said no, I said yes, they said no, I said do you want to loose a long time customer over $17.95? They did not care. Thus, I am no longer a customer. The creditcard company credited me the $17.95. So be careful what you return, it will be there word against you!!"

"I am international costumer. I order from Nashbar web site two items and got an order conformation. After ten days which I didn't herd form them I contact their CS and I got an answer that they are not shipping to my country! They took my personal information (including my credit card)in the order .
It was never written that they are not shipping to my country nevertheless they took an order!
