"Absolutely incredible. The most irresponsible store I have ever dealt with. I ordered a Canon EOS Rebel T2i with EF-S 18-55 IS lens,on line,on 11/26/2011. The item was listed as in stock for $685,and would be arrive in 7-9 business days. Since I had not received the item by 12/13/2010 I contacted the store and they "Simon" said, "They were out of stock and the item would be now be shipped on 1/7/2011". Since I wanted the camera for a Xmas present, I purchased the same one at Best Buy for $840 with the intent of returning that camera when the one from Best Price came. Understand, I wanted a gift for under the tree. Well it is now 3/13/2011 and guess what, still no camera and not even a notification that it would ever be coming. I could have purchased the camera from other sources but had read good reviews on Best Price and took those at their word. A real mistake and so I'm out $165. PS. Are their lower ratings than 1 star?"

"I ordered a camera on a Sat. By Tuesday I still had yet to receive any confirmation of my order. My credit card however had been charged. I called Best Price Electronics a total of 5 times. I now have an e-mail confirming my order with an invoice number, a promise of delivery in 9 days and a USPS "delivery confirmation" number which does not work. I was told that it was impossible to track my package and that a signature would be needed upon delivery. I honestly have never in my life had such shady dealings and will be surprised if I receive my camera (which I need for an upcoming family vacation.) I have contacted my credit card company and will give Best Price Electronics 10 days to deliver a legit brand new camera.
Update! I did in fact receive my camera on time. Yeah! However, I was contacted by BestPriceElectronics and asked to change my rating, in exchange for a free battery. Not interested.

"I am writing this review on 2/28/11. Purchased a standard Canon EOS 5D Mkii body on 10/31/10 and was quoted 2 week delivery. On 11.25 was told it had been backordered and now was due to ship 12/11. On 12/18, I was quoted ship 12/22. On 12/28, I was quoted unknown ship date. 3 more calls with no new ship date and then they cancelled the order on 2/24 without telling me. I found THAT out by looking on my account page. Without going into all the details, this was a simple bait and switch. Each time, telling me if I'd pay more fr the same camera, I could get it right away. Beware of possible "upsells" to include junk products at high profit margins which they need to add to orders for items with prices too low to sell alone. "

"After ordering a Canon VIXIA HF S21 at a very nice price, I missed an 877 call from their company early the next day (Saturday, a fellow named James) to confirm my purchase. An e-mail was also sent asking me to call to confirm purchase.
After repeated calls - leaving messages and finaly letting the phone ring for 3 mins, I got an answer. Best Price was holding my order to ask if I wanted the camera to "ship with the 3 hr or the 5 hr battery." I asked if they were trying to sell me a battery, indeed they were but the question was posed in a misleading way. They obviously only held up my order to see if they could add a battery and an extended warenty to my origonal order. Be careful, this a a tried and proven scam. They said they would ship immeadiately, I will update after the camera arrives.
Update: eye opener at the Better Business Bureau web site, this retailer is rated F (A thru F) F = bad. Retailer offer to send me a free battery if I raised my score immeadiately. I said I would wait until the item arrived.
24 Feb 11 - the camcorder arrived today. It is the advertized camera with a valid manufacure's warrenty; I am very pleased. I have raised my evaluation, but still find the experience uneasy.

"Lying scum...

This is how Best Price Electronics makes money:
1. They upsell you (battery? Memory card?)
2. They charge your card for the purchase
3. They stall
4. They lie to you, e.g.
LIE: "you should receive it in a day or two"
LIE: "we'll send you a tracking number"
LIE: "we got your email address wrong..."

5. They put you on hold forever, until
6. You cancel the order, then
7. They delay refunding your card

Oh and remember, their business hours are ridiculously short so you'll have to take time off from work to call them and talk to one of their professional liars and listen to that Brooklyn accent create a new whopper for you.

"I'm lucky if I received my camera this week. I ordered canonT1i on the January 25th. And after all the bullshitting they said they shipped it on 31st.I never got any confirmation on if it's been shipped. I email them on Feb4th to find out. No reply. So I called them on Feb 7th. They say I will received the confirmation email (which I still don't.
Worst online shopping experience I've ever had.
I will never buy from such site again.
I will be asking my money back if I don't get it this week. It's way past 9 days ground shipping time.
I will update again if I get my camera

After I posted this review I got a called from the store.The person yelled at me to change my review.

TO BE CLEAR, I NEVER GOT ANY CONFIRMATION ON IF THE CAMERA HAS BEEN SHIPPED OR NOT FROM THE BEGINNING OF THE TRANSACTION.
They never provided me with any proof as to the camera has been shipped.

So the guy said the camera was shipped back to them and will ship it to me again.So I asked my money back instead.And he continues to yelled at me. After that I was transferred to Russell. He then told me the item was already shipped and will get it soon. Two people said two different things! He was somewhat nice. But then he told me "if I don't change my review he will not give me back my money back in full"
I told them I won't change anything until I see my money in the bank.
And he keeps on telling me to change it or else I won't get my money back in full.[I'm entitled to my money back in full since I've never even seen the camera nor got proof that I might get it] It took me around 30 minutes to get this thing straight.It was really upsetting.
I got my money back in full today.
But I never want to go through that again. I've done several online purchases. Never had any problem till now.
They might get good reviews if they are good at services and not threaten their customer!

I ordered a Canon Rebel T2i for Thanksgiving 2010 as a Christmas Gift to my Sister and confirmed that the product would ship out with in 2-3 days.

The next day I got a call from them trying to sell me some accessories like extra battery,Memory Card, Case etc...The guy who talked to me came down on the price of a battery from $199 to $99 as I showed no interest in buying a $200 battery pack or any other accessories for that matter. He confirmed that the Camera was in stock and would ship-out the next business day as that was a Saturday.

Having no communication from they I got anxious and called them to find out that they are Back Ordered but would definitely ship out the Camera before Christmas. Though I was disappointed, I can understand that they would give preference to customers who added some accessories to their orders as they have higher margins on them.

I received an email saying "URGENT PENDING ORDER - PLEASE READ!!!" which basically said they had no stock and can cancel the order if I wish.

After 15 days of placing my order they send an email that I can cancel??? Wouldn't it be much simpler if they had told me the same when they called me or atleast when I called them.

I really got mad at this point. They promised that it would ship out Jan 5th, if I could wait. Without much thought I agreed to it as I really wanted my sister to have it and I repent for doing that now.

Now it's the first week of Feb that they will have some in stock....Really!!!! Do I really have to wait 2 months for a camera ???

***All this time the same Camera-Canon Rebel T2i shows up as available on their Website*** May be I'm the only one with this situation but If you are looking for something seriously, think of the time you are gonna waste for saving few bucks!!!!

Also all the emails were sent out after 5p.m after their customer service is closed and I burned a lot of $$ in phone bills as I had to wait atleast 20-30 mins for someone to check on the status of my order.

Received a call from Reggie@Ext 105, said he would try to correct the situation if given a chance. He is willing to buy the same camera from a BestBuy and ship it to me as they don't have it available.

I felt a lot better after someone finally understood the pain that I went through.

He provided me a UPS tracking# and I'm waiting for my Camera to show up in mail atlast. I will be happy to modify some stars on this review after I receive the Camera.Keep your fingers crossed

"I am revising the below review after speaking with Anthony from bestpriceelectronics. Got a prompt call after posting this and they are going to make everything right. Good to see they stay on top of these things. In spite of the below, you can't beat their prices. ***

Got a great price on the rebel t2i from them. However, be prepared to wait. Ordered the camera on Jan 5th. Nothing on the website said the camera was out of stock. Called on January 17th and they still hadn't shipped it or mentioned to me it was out of stock. Once I made the phone call, the item shipped that night. Poor customer service and not exactly upfront about what items are in stock. Don't know if I will use again.

"Well, it happens eventually. I ordered a Canon T2i on the 2nd of January, 2011. On the 4th of January, 2011 someone called and confirmed the order and advised I needed to buy an extra battery for only $129.00. I declined, so they started in on the memory cards. Again I ever so politley declined, so they returned to the battery issue again. Apparantly the standard battery was only good for 29 pictures, and I could have the super mega battery for only $89.00 (So if you were interested in a battery, decline the first offer - it will get better).
Again, I managed to resist the offer, and just asked for my camera. The C/S guy told me it would be shipping immediately. I noted my account was charged on the 6th of January, and gleefully counted 7-9 business days. After a while, with no sign of the promised email with a tracking number, I started emailing to the "contact us" details on their website. I sought confirmation of order W-xxxxxxxxxxx.
No reply.
Eventually I got an email with the tracking number, and shortly after a one line reply to my email that said "Tracking number Zxxxxxxxxxxx". I assume that meant "Items have now shipped via UPS. Please note this tracking number to track your shipment, sorry for the delay, and thank you for your business."
Anyway, final shipping date was 17th January, 2011 - 15 days after the order was placed (it will be here the 21st according to UPS), and nine days after I was charged.
Not speedy, and somewhat concerning business practice with regards to charging my card so long before shipping which indicates to me that they rely on prepaid orders for the cash flow to make stock purchases. However, on the whole - depending on the condition of the camera on the 21st of January, 2011, not a bad experience if you're prepared to wait. If anything changes re: delivery, I'll update.

Ok, all turned out just fine. We even got the camera via UPS a day early. I was a little worried for a time, but BPE came through. I hope they do well.

"FRAUD!!!!!SCAMMERS!!!! LIARS!!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!
I placed an order for a Sony Alpha DSLT-A33L & Lens kit on 12-20-10. Two days later I was contacted by James @ ext. 505 trying to sell me an extended life battery for $149.00 in the beginning I accepted the offer when he told me he would throw in a carrying case worth $49.00 if I purchased the battery. After about 10 minutes of thinking about the price of the battery I called James back & told him to cancel the battery that was added to my order & send me the original order. He agreed and said my order would be shipped within 24 to 48 hrs.and I would receive a tracking number in an email when my order was shipped , the website clearly states that they offer free shipping for 7 to 9 days. Well on 12/30/10 I still have not received an email with a tracking number, after making countless calls & leaving countless messages...still no phone call from them. Finally I catch James & as soon as he realize who I am he puts me on hold for 42 minutes, finally he comes back to the phone & transfers me to what he say is his supervisor named Russel. When I tell him about the tracking number that I never got he states it's because they don't have the product in their warehouse & it had to drop shipped directly from Sony and he provided me with a BOGUS confirmation number that he said was for USPS because they shipped the $622.00 camera regular mail (imagine that)! After I checked the USPS website to track the package I found out the number was no good. I then tried to contact Russel by phone & email but, of course he never responded. Finally on 1/4/11 I called Russel @ ext.506 & he answered the phone, when he realized who I was he immediately put me on hold & said "I'm going to let you talk to the owner" I was on hold for 56 minutes & they hung up on me. A few minutes later I received a call back from Simon @ ext.501, he stated that he had to put a trace on the order & it would be 14 days before he could send me another camera out because they didn't have the money to purchase another camera from Sony until they were credited for the "LOST" one that they sent out. But, every salesman did offer to CANCEL my order every time I talked to them. Simon told me he would call me on Friday 1/7/11 to give me an update. Needless to say I never received a call from him so I called his extension over & over until I got someone @ that extension, when the guy answered the phone I asked if it was Simon & he said "No this is Reggie, How can I help you?" I said that I need to talk to Simon concerning my order, he asked for my zip code & said "You don't have it yet?" He then ask if I want to cancel my order, I told him that I wouldn't have made the order if I didn't have a need for the camera. He then said "We don't have one in the warehouse right now. But, if one comes in on Monday I will ship you one out" I asked if you don't have one in your warehouse, why are you still offering this item for sale on your website his reply was "It's for people who wants to wait. But, we can cancel your order or you can wait, that's the best I can do." So when I asked what was his direct extension he said "501" I said Simon said that was his extension number he then said "Either he or I will answer that extension." As of today 1/8/11, I still have not received my order. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had with online shopping. If I had done my homework I would have never wasted my time & money with these LIARS!! I believe some of these reviews are BOGUS just like the company!! After I read this post I realized exactly what I was dealing with:

"Despite some initial problems with my order, BPE's customer service contacted me to get everything worked out, and I am very impressed with their customer service. The prices are great and the services matches it.

If this order (my first with BPE) and experience with their service is the standard, then I expect to shop here for a lot of my equipment in the future. Recommended, particularly because of the exemplary customer service!
