"Totally wasted your time. The item I ordered worth $20. It shown in stock when I placed my order. Called three times to follow up the order, it back ordered twice. I requested to refund my order then received pickup email on the next day Oct 18 with pickup reference number. That's over a month of waiting time. I sent someone to pickup the item but they need me to pickup in person with the ordering credit card . Pickup hours is: 9:15AM ~ 5:15PM Monday ~ Friday, who's going to make it with a 9-5 job. If they have such a strict pickup system, why not they clearly written down in their pickup email. In their pickup email, they only have an address and reference number.

"I think the problems Best Direct is having with reviews on here is simply due to some shipping issues they are having. My suggestion would be to wait 3 business days after your order, and then email them asking for a status.
I did that, and their (very prompt) reply from a customer service rep said they would look into it. A little while later, I got a shipment notice.
I am shipping a heavy PC case, along with other components to the GTA. Their shipment took 1 day, so they more than made up for slow initiation of shipment.
Overall I can't say it is the best place ever, but good prices and low shipment charges and reasonably quick delivery (7 business days order to delivered) make it one of the better places for GTA Canadians."

"I concur with the other shoppers who said BestDirect.ca does not deliver product to you in a timely fashion, even when they advertise the products as IN STOCK. Irene Law at ****@**** will stall with excuses, although to be fair she is in fact professional and prompt. I have had very good luck ordering from pc-canada.com as well as the big guys (newegg.ca and amazon.ca are of course awesome). Yes I pay more for the products and/or shipping from these companies but at least their stock status is accurate. BestDirect.ca is a total waste of my time.

I order 2 parts on tuesday. My first part was sent puro express from toronto. Received it on thursday. Second part was sent form vancouver puro express, received on Friday. Received everything within 3 days. Very good for free shipping.

I will reorder from bestdirect when they have this free shipping promotion.

Edit: I have to modify my review now. My coller is noisy. I need an RMA. It is complicated. They want me to open a case with Corsair. After 3 days, I should be able to return my cooler without any questions asked."

"I understand the setup that ShopStar Network and NCIX has as Viking Way there in Richmond, BC. It's a suspicious setup... but whatever works for them I guess. The prices for my parts were better thru BestDirect.ca, and they offered free shipping. I thought since they're pretty much the same company that the processing times would be similar... so instead of doing a price match on NCIX.com, I decided to place the order directly thru BestDirect.ca. Boy I was wrong, it took 1 full week before my order shipped... I was hoping for 1-3 business days (like I've come to expect from NCIX when items are in stock). I even emailed them a few days before it shipped, and they said the order had been processed... but that didn't mean shipped. I'm not angry, just disappointed in the turnaround times... hopefully I don't have to experience their RMA."
