"Maybe the worst company in terms of customer service. Place an order of the 4th, no updates to date. On the 10th you are happy to provide an advertisement. How about a shipping notice and tracking information."

A rep from Bedford Camera & Video, seankaiser, has responded:

“I apologize that you believed we had ignored your order. We tried to contact you in regards to your order several times and left voice mails on monday Dec 6th and again on the 8th after which we refunded your card and declined the order and sent an email stating such. As a policy we make an effort to verify orders and when we are unable to contact customers especially ones who have billing and shipping address to different locations all we can do is assume that this was an attempted fraud order an issue a refund.

As soon as you posted this review I used RR to send you the above message and offered to help you find the product you were originally looking for. Your emailed response was "Bedford has an obligation to fulfill an orders placed... I do NOT wish to conduct business with Bedford...Please remove ALL my information from your records and do NOT contact me any more." so aside from this public response we won't contact you again.

I hope you have a pleasant holiday and were able to find the product you were looking for.”

"Great price and super fast delivery. OK, I ordered from them because I couldn't find my camera elsewhere, but they had the same price and free shipping. And besides, there's a human there (who called to verify my internet order -- but did NOT push accessories!). I would definitely consider ordering from Bedford Camera again. "

"The best experience I've ever had buying a camera. I was waiting for the much sought after Nikon d7000 camera body only and it is backordered at every camera store in the country. I called Bedford Camera and they told me they would be getting some in the following week and if I wanted, they would call me when they knew for sure when they would get them. I received a call on Monday telling me they would have cameras in their store on that Wednesday and did I want to order one of the ones they were getting. I placed my order, the camera came in on Wednesday, was shipped to me the same day and I had it in my hands that Saturday.

A great experience and super friendly and helpful staff. Many thanks! I'd be waiting for months if I had gone to one of the bigger stores and waited in a lineup of over 300.

"My experience with Bedford Cameria & Video online was wonderful. I ordered a camera for my daughter for Christmas on a Thursday and I was delivered the following Saturday. I couldn't believe it was so fast and easy. I also went to their store in Fort Smith, AR earlier this year and purchased myself a camera and the store is great and the people that work there were very helpful and very nice to deal with. When I need anything cameras, video or anything related to that, I will return to Bedfords without dought. "

"Bedfords Camera went above and beyond. I preordered a camera, and they called to let me know a shipping update of when they expected it,and called again when they shipped it. They emailed me a tracking #. Since the camera was backordered, they even as upgraded me to 2 day UPS at no charge. I didn't even ask for 2 day shipping. Bedfords is reallt a top notch retailer, and I will buy all of my camera gear from them from now on. Their prices were better than other well known on line retailers, and their customer service was 1,000 times better."
