"Ther lack of correspondance was awful. This has to be the worst online shopping experience ever!! I received confirmation stating that the items would be delivered prior to July 6th and waited but nothing showed up. It is July 12th and the product still hasn't been delivered. I then tried contacting the store & headquarters in NY but kept getting voice mail attendants and left MANY messages without any callbacks. This order was time sensative, for I had to leave the country in hopes of installing the seat covers for a vehicle driven overseas. Now its never going to happen due to the poor customer service and understanding of this merchant. Conclusion: I will never purchase anything through autobarn and its affiliates. As stated, the lack of customer service is barr none! Therefore, I am reluctant to conduct any further business in the future and will place a stop payment on this transaction. ***NOTE TO AUTOBARN AND AMAZON- WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE!! TRY TAKING OWNERSHIP INSTEAD OF DEFERRING PROBLEMS BACK TO THE CUSTOMER.***"

"Avoid this store at all costs if you plan on returning an item!

The stores will NOT accept online returns, as their policy states. And after numerous phone calls/emails to headquarters (that went unanswered), I was finally able to get a CSR by pressing 0.

I was then told that the stores only help you ship back the item, which means you are stuck with the shipping costs anyway.

Also watch what you order, I was charged a re-stocking fee, even on items that were not listed under their restocking fee policy.

My complaints have fallen on death ears. Beware this retailer, purchase from somewhere else. My first and last order from this company.

"Order did come through, but went over a week before hearing anything back from the site. I never got an answer or callback via phone. Eventually I was deluged with 10-20 automated replies from an email I sent them - this was annoying to say the least. I will be leary before ordering from them again."

"I order two item from Autobarn, the air filter cleaner & OBDII scanner. It tooks me tow weeks to received both item. It's funny that Autobarn did not send me two tracking number since one of the item was a drop ship. So, when I first received the package, I thought one of the items was missing. And the packing list and the e-mail all tell me there is only one tracing number. I call couple times and also worte couple e-mail. It took me couple days to rosolved the issue. The person who I spoke on the phone, told me that it's ship sepearately and gave me a tracking number."

"I'm not sure if I will order from this website again. Although they have good prices for their products - they have terrible customer service. I placed an order on June 13th around 1am and paid through paypal. As was stated, I would be charged automatically. It also says in their FAQ that in stock items ship in 1-2 business days and you will be notified in 3 business days if a product becomes out of stock. After a few days I sent emails to two different emails asking about the status of my order. I also called their customer service number and left a message (during working hours). I never received any responses. A week went by and I was sent an automated email issuing me a credit for an out of stock item. It took 7 business days before my order was shipped. I will admit that shipping was very quick. However, next time I think I'll just go to the actual store and maybe it will be a better experience."

"Product was shipped in two packages due to size (ok). Wrong/invalid UPS tracking number was given with order (first problem). One of the two packages was lost or damaged by UPS. Not the vendor's fault on that but the customer service to get a replacement was horrible. The email contact links worked but nobody ever replied to my emails. Eventually I got an automated reply and a ticket was opened in their system that I could check online. That would be great except they turned right around and closed the ticket even though no replacement was shipped. Getting someone on the phone to ask about an existing order was difficult...either no answer or voice mail. I eventuall got someone on the phone and he was nice and it all worked out OK after that but it was just so hard to get help to begin with. Didn't feel good as a result to deal with this vendor."

"horrid experience - ordered weather tech floorliners. Credit card was charged immediately, even though order was not shipped even after 2 weeks. Called and emailed to cancel order - no replies, and no answer when calling. Had to contact credit card company to remove charge. Order arrived after 3 weeks - refused shipment. Will never do business with these vermin again.
