"very impressed. They called me the day after my order and suggested an alternative to one of my items that would better match the rest of my order (and was also a few dollars cheaper). I was glad they caught that (i chose the wrong color) and took the time to notify me. In addition, the items arrived very quickly and in perfect condition. The prices and selectn were great and I will be using them for future lighting needs."

"The Quoizel Inglenook arrived perfectly packaged and exceeded my expectations. Beautiful workmanship and finish, I was nervous about a resin base instead of a traditional metal casting, but the weight, feel and look is great! Glass colors where exactly as shown. "Talk about a company that gives you one-on-one help! There was a slight mix-up in my order and before I knew it, I received a personal phone call, then emails regarding the problem - it was solved without a glitch. That's how "ordering on-line" should be.

"I am very pleased so far with arcadian lighting. I had to call several times to ask about measurements and length of the light. The staff was very helpful and answered all my questions. When they couldnt they got the answer. I also like the fact that on the sight you can really get up close to the item on the enlargement. I have not received the lights yet but am hoping they are as good as they look on line.

Thanks again to the staff for all your help!!!!!

"I received no response to my email questioning why I couldn't track my shipment. Packing was terrible. Fortunately, my tapestry was not damaged. No invoice included with packing.

"Well, I orderd a Meyda Tiffany Billard Light and had no problem placing the order on the Website.

The problem occured when Meyda placed the wrong lamp into the shipping box. It took over a month and a half to find where the correct lamp was shipped and then get it shipped to me.

I would have cancelled my order if it wasn't for Kelly in customer service who wouldn't give up making things right even after putting up with my "upsetness". I my opinion people like her make successfull businesses.

Anyways, I recieved my lamp, have it hung, and it is beautiful. I'm ready to order a matching floor lamp from Arcadian.

"Both lamps arrived damaged due to ridiculously poor packaging. I called up Arcadian to complain and they say they will send some more lamps, but I haven't heard back and need to follow-up.

The package was drop shipped from the manufacturer (Vaxcel) who doesn't seem to value their product at all. The lamp essentially destroyed itself in shipment, with a loose socket that was not wrapped in bubble wrap or anything. I can't understand how any of their product arrives undamaged. Both lamps were smashed in the same way. Arcadian is ultimately liable for trusting their supplier to package the lamps for shipment, but I am going to avoid Vaxcel in the future. There is good, cheap Chinese and then there is crappy, cheap Chinese, and I think I got the latter.

Update. The replacement lamps were received and were properly packaged. My only complaint with Arcadian is that I did not receive any email confirmation on the replacement lamps, and it took several days for confirmation (by phone) that the replacement lamps were actually sent.

"Wonderful customer service. Received all items quickly, great communication, great prices. I purchased dozens of fixtures from various vendors for a new built house, and Arcadian's customer service was the absolute best. They went above and beyond to address two issues I ended up having with fixtures I purchased from them (not their fault) - really went to bat for me with the manufacturers. Could not recommend more highly and would order from them again in a heartbeat."

"disappointed that as of 9/20 I have not heard anything from Arcadian Lighting about my order. Checked their website for order status but the field is blank.
Item was shipped the next day. Arcadian should not tell me to access the website to check status if it takes 10 days for them to update. status field could have been updated to show 'expect to ship on 9/21' - any info is better then none.

"Very Poor Service!!! I have left email and telephone messages requesting delivery date of my order and NO ONE has gotten back to me. We are going to have to reschedule our electrician, who is hard to get, to another date because we do not know when to expect our order or by what company it is being shipped. "Track your order" on the web site shows only that an order was placed over a week ago. Nothing shipped as far as I can tell. I am beginning to suspect fraud."
