"Whirpool ice maker stopped discharging ice. Suggested fixes were the motor controller or the thermostat controller. Changed the thermostat and am making ice normally. Will be returning the motor controller for a refund.
Important note - must use a thermal conductive paste between the thermostat and ice tray. Purchased a small tube from Grainger with a -60F rating for $6. The alumilastic mentioned in the repair video is expensive, hard to find and much more than you need."
