"I was extremely happy with the price of the merchandise that I ordered. The only downside was having to call two times to check on my order. Having e-mail updates on shipping or backorder status would be a nice perk to the business, although the operator was very nice and was able to answer my questions. Will use AValive again for my purchases."

"My order with Triangle Visual was VERY unsatisfactory. I ordered on Sat Jan 16 and not expecting any thing until Monday. My credit cards was charged, IMMEDIATELY! Monday I got an email that the CC didn't match the address ship to. I don't remember getting a chance to have one ship and one billing address but nevertheless I then had to download sign and FAX back a form that said this was OK! After requesting any more information about what was going on, I guess the software shipped on Wednesday and was supposed to be delivered on Friday Jan 22 except they shipped it with SIGNATURE required. As I work I therefor can not be home to sign for the package but I did leave a note for the UPS carrie to leave the package, which was ignored. I ten had to got to the UPS office after 7 PM Friday night to pick up the package (which was poorly wrapped in a overused box). All in all I am not impressed with Avalive or Triangle Visual and will never purchase with them again.
Very poor customer service and at one point in the process my CC was double billed for a fairly large purchase.
Not the kind of company I need to do business with.

"As honest as you can get. I accidentally order two of the same item. They emailed me the next day to ask if I really wanted two of the same thing. I couldn't believe it. That is the kind of honesty we just don't expect anymore. "

"Ordered 2 speaker covers and there was a snag with shipment. Looks like the manufacturer was slow in telling AValive whether items were in stock or not. Avalive upgraded the shipment at no charge to meet my deadline- and well within the time period I needed them- they arrived. Would recommend anyone to purchase from AValive!"

"Awesome service! I needed a power supply to replace one that failed, and AVAlive called the OEM and confirmed they had one that could be shipped out overnight. "I was a bit skeptical to from this online vendor only because the reviews here were adequate at best, but I was happy to be misinformed as an end result.

I ordered an JVC HD camcorder (GY-HM100U) on Monday, December 11th 2009 and promptly received the camera December 18th without any problems or delays. A one-week delivery from North Carolina for free aint to shabby :)

Immediately after making the purchase I received a notification that my order has been received (Friday). On Saturday I received a credit card authorization form that needed to be faxed for approval. On Monday I received a JVC form (since there was an instant rebate - something the other vendors online never offered) along with a W-9 for tax information purposes. Yeah there's a bit of faxing and authorization to be had, but that's only due to the rebate and the costly nature of this item. Finally that Friday I received the camera from UPS in perfect condition after tracking it from AVAlive's confirmation email (which was sent to me again on Monday).

To summarize the entire experience I'll put to you like this - DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE! AVAlive was an awesome vendor to deal with - no drama, no pressure sales, and ultimately the best price on the net. I was extremely satisfied with the purchase and would definitely buy from them again!

"Ordered 10/28, arrived on 11/4. I didn't receive a confirmation email. But when I inquired AValive replied and stating it was being processed. All is well, I would however recommend AValive add confirmation emails to their customers.

"I placed my order on Oct 26, 2009 for an item that "usually ships with 24-48hrs".

4 days later, the item shipped via USPS.

Not only that, but the two people who I spoke to over the phone don't even say 'Good morning/afternoon/evening'.

It's amazing that they both did not have a greeting other than 'AV ALIVE '. It may seem petty, but something that minor can make the fact that the item shipped two days late just a little easier to swallow. Given the consistent lack of greeting, I can only assume they teach their customer service agents NOT to give a greeting.

Between the shipping delay, and the greeting, this is clearly what separates this company from a company like Amazon.

I'll update the review once I receive the item.

"I went with AV Alive because the product I was shopping for was more than $1000 cheaper there than my local retailer. I was exceptionally pleased with the price, and the CSR's were very helpful on the phone and over email.

My situation was difficult because I live in Canada, but wanted them to ship the item to an address in the US.

One thing that caused a lot of problems was my credit card. I have a "Canadian" VISA, which AV Alive could not accept, even though I've used it countless times in the US and in other On-line stores that are US based. I can't recommend AV Alive to anyone here unless that restriction is lifted.

The only option for me for payment was Wire Transfer, which is more costly and inconvenient. After that was resolved, the CSR's dealt well with the other problems I had.

"I am extremely happy with AValive. I ordered the Cradlepoint EVDO CTR-350 CTR Travel Wireless Router for my USB modem and they shipped it right away. Unlike the other web stores, their price didn't include the need for a 2yr cellular contract and had free shipping! They have great prices and I will shop with them again."

"Big ticket sale with no drama! Reps held my hand all through the process. Had to sign my order due to being over 500.00 and first time buyer. No biggie there since it is for both our protection. Everything shipped as rep said it would and a back order was communicated effectively before I was ever charged. Will buy from again!"

"Ordered AJA converted which was listed as "in stock - ready to ship". The next afternoon I received an E-mail requesting a signed purchase order. Who the hell does such stupidity on line? That wastes time and delays shipping!
