"This is the second order I have placed with AValive/Triangle Visual in the past month and I have been beyond impressed with them. First the items I ordered were hard-to-find, no one else had them in stock. AValive not only had these items, but had them at prices that were at least competitive, if not considerably lower than their competitors. What truly inspired me to write this review, however, was the effort put out by AValive's customer service staff. If you can't find what you're looking for, if you need it by a certain date, if you have any questions at all, contact these people. You will get a timely response and the information you need. I most definitely look forward to doing business with them again."
"Ordered an apparently "in stock" item but was emailed to indicate "out of stock" which was typical of all merchants selling a Canon DM-100 microphone under $200.00. Gave opportunity to cancel order but informed accurately of item's arrival by end of week. Ultimately received in gratifying 6 or so business days despite back order. Price good but some lower listed elsewhere (yet unavailable). Service and communication excellent. "

I understand that AValive is family owned company, so their web page and ordering page might not be user-friendly like other major online stores. I do believe they will continue to improve for people's convenience.

"8 days after placing my order, I got an email asking whether it would be alright if my sonofiber panels shipped the following week. I said that was fine, and 19 days after placing the order, I was sent an invoice with a tracking number. When nothing arrived, I realized that the tracking number was someone elses. When I called them (22 days after order), they said it had not yet shipped, so I canceled the order. I will never buy anything from AVAlive again.

The items ordered were inexpensive, but had relatively expensive shipping. The net was still a good price, and I bit.
The products were as described. Packing was good, and the items were in satisfactory condition (they appear to have been drop shipped from the manufacturer, which would agree with other reviewer's comments).
My primary complaint is in the communication area. The item showed as "in stock", but took 6 days to ship. No communication was received on the matter until I asked about when it was going to ship (and, miraculously, the scheduled ship date was the business day after the response). Decent communication and more responsive shipping, and I'd have given a more glowing review. As it is, this was still a fine transaction."

"I ordered 2 products and selected 3 day shipping for ~$20. The following day I received an email stating that one item would not ship until the end of the week and that shipping was $60 and not $20. I am an for a University and was glad to see GSA pricing, however a 300% increase in shipping is a little unusual. I ordered the same items from BHPhotovideo at the same price and got 3 day shipping for $17. The items also shipped the same day. I prefer to do business with women and minority owned businesses, but not at this high of a premium price."
"I ordered a panasonic ag-hmc150 shooter's package, which included the camera case, and shotgun mic. When I made the order they did not mention to me that the additional items in the package were not on hand and were on back order. I found out only when I opened the box. When I called to ask why the other items were missing they said that they were on backorder from panasonic. I asked why they didn't mention this to me when I made the order and they replied that they didn't know. This was a flat-out lie as this had been happening since October. Then I checked on their website and the camera bag was listed as "in stock." When I emailed them this fact, they simply replied, "It is not." No apologies, no explanations. So I ordered the package in the beginning of December and I won't receive the whole thing until Dec. 30th.
They lie, they don't appreciate their customers, they don't respond to inquiries and their service level simply stinks. Stay away from them. I will never do business with them again and neither should you."

"Bad company. I should have known better when they insisted on a charge card number before they would quote on shipping charges. They promised to get approval before charging me or shipping, but did not. As soon as I got the shipping quote email, I canceled the order because I wasn't going to pay $18 to ship a $21 camera strap. They charged me and shipped it before they got my acceptance or cancellation reply. They claimed to not have the cancellation. I have refused/returned the package, and they ~say~ they will refund my money, but I'm not hopeful. They said they would wait for my approval before charging my card and shipping, but they didn't. I'll consider myself lucky if I get my money back without having to go to the credit card company for help. STAY AWAY!"
