"I ordered AKG K141 MKII headphones via AValive two and a half weeks ago. The device was shipped in (to me) acceptable amount of time - it took seven business days for the headphones to be delivered. Unfortunately, two omissions spoiled overall impression. The first disappointment was absence of the tracking number, although according to the seller I was supposed to receive it (in my online account it was stated I'd get it once the manufacturer sends it to AValive). The second disappointment was Customer Service incompetence - when, after six business days, I called to check status of the shipment, I got the information that they're still waiting for AKG to send them tracking number and ship the headphones. The following day I got my headphones. So, all in all, overall experience is moderate - I got my headphones in reasonable amount of time for a decent price, but people should be aware that customer service seems to be useless; this fact might be very important if someone needs to deal with them in case they have a problem with purchased item."

"I purchased an Anchor small speaker setup and it ended up being too small for what I really needed. Bill, quickly upgraded me to a larger system (MEGAVOX PRO DUAL BASIC PACKAGE) and billed my paypal for the difference in cost. He shipped it out right away (even before I returned the smaller system). The larger system is awesome! "We purchased a Kramer video switcher from them on the advice that it could smoothly switch video within under one second. The switcher took over two seconds to switch video. Even with smooth switching turned off, the unit took more than a second to lock sources and switch. The AValive salesman obvious didn't know the unit. By the time we received the unit, got it into a test environment, and discovered its limitations, AValive's 14 day return policy had already passed. They of course refused to take a return, not making good on their promises and backing what they sell. Now I am stuck with their $1000 mistake."

"I work as a server administrator in K12 Education and AValive was AWESOME in helping aquire the right video hardware for our new multimedia broadcast class. They gave us very fast service and excellent education pricing. Always a fast and friendly reply to emails or calls. "I ordered an iPad 2 White 32GB from this site for mothers day because of the price and free shipping (loved it, saved me A LOT of money), but shipping took nearly a week and a half to get to me. About four days to clear my debit card, about three days for them to get the iPad to their warehouse, and about three days to ship to me (from North Carolina to Southern California).

Overall, this is a legit site for selling iPads. I got this for mothers day but it was obviously three days late, which is okay. My mom loved it when she opened the package anyways. The iPad was packaged well when shipped and still in its plastic packaging. The iPad itself is working just fine as a new one is.

I also contacted customer service for a follow-up on my order via the website chat. Representative was very responsive with my questions asked and thats how I learned that my package will come in later than expected in order to be tax-free, which I could've been informed before ordering so at least I was expecting a delay. Either way, I was neither impressed nor angered (can't think up of a better word) with the shipping time. But they did ship it as soon as they could (which looked like the same day they received it).

Will buy from this seller again. Thank you!

"An item that I had ordered was not fully represented on the web site and was unusable for my application. AValive customer service simply refused to offer a refund or exchange as one would expect from any reputable dealer. On this occasion the loss was not significant but I would strongly urge potential customers to shop elsewhere if any kind of customer service is expected."

"I could not have asked for a smoother transaction. After ordering, an email was sent immediately asking for a few days patience to obtain tracking info. 3 days later, as promised, I received an email with tracking number - arrived the following day!
I saved $125 off the lowest priced internet competitor for a Neumann TLM 102 - yeah, $575 - Brand spanking new to my house.
Why guys are paying this for a used one off ebay is beyond me - guess they are not researching thoroughly - or if they have found the AValive site- are scared off by a few disgruntled folks. Again, after making a high dollar purchase - it's easy to understand
some nerves and hyper vigilance - but I'm thinking the key here is to remain patient as requested by the seller - for the allotted period of time before investigating - and all will run smoothly.

"Just a week and a half ago I purchased a Sanus CFR-127 AV cabinet. The thing weighs a ton and shipping is usually very expensive. When I saw that Avalive had free shipping on the product I immediately jumped on it and placed an order. Afterwards, I checked ResellerRatings and saw that the company's rating was so low so I panicked and emailed the company asking to cancel my order. The company responded the next morning saying that they cancelled the order. After some thought I went ahead and had them reinstate the order because they already had my creditcard info so I might as well see if they came through. Lo and behold, a week later I received my product. I received a PDF with my order invoice when the product shipped. It was in brand new condition and the shipping guy from Old Dominion helped me carry it into my weed invested backyard. The entire experience was very positive. In light of the bad experiences by previous customers, I hope Avalive continues the high level of service I received."

"I actually had a great experience with this company. It was a fairly large order and they were not going to be able to send the items for one week. I got an immediate email to tell me of the delay, and they offered to cancel the order. It was such a great deal, I decided to keep going with it. The Items came as expected. There were zero hidden fees. I had free shipping on the entire thing. I read these reviews.. but still took a chance since many of them were for an iPad. If you are going to buy an iPad... get it from APPLE. Obviously they are going to be backordered."
