"I'm writing this review two years after ordering from them, so I can't remember exactly how it went. I believe the actual order and shipping went just fine and the part shipped on time and worked, etc. That is not my complaint. Two years later, after I had nearly forgotten about them, I get an e-mail to avlogic(at).org from e-tronicdepot.net. I had only used this e-mail address once and it was only for that order. However, it appears they sold my e-mail address because now I am getting spam to that unique e-mail address. This is the first I have received something to that address since then, so it is a recent occurance. I can no longer recommend this company if they sell your e-mail address. I'm sticking with Newegg.

PS: It says transaction field cannot be less than 2003, but I ordered in 2002. Just FYI.

"Good price, web site is very easy to use and track order. Took 3 days to process order, sent e-mail asking why it took so long, no answer. I live in the same town as AVLOGIC, took a week to get the product. In the end got it OK."

"I was billed by Avlogic right away. Airborn Express never delivered the item and has it listed by tracking number as being delivered to the wrong address. Airborne Express stated that only the shipper could file a claim so I contacted Avlogic by both phone and email many times over the past month to get them to file a claim. All email are unanswered. All phone calls went to voice mail and are unanswered. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company."

"absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. My mother-in-law ordered me a new Pioneer DVR-106 Dvd drive for christmas as I requested. She ordered it shortly after Thanksgiving...

My mother-in-law, being new to the internet ordering process, did not put the last 3 digits of her Credit card on the order. No one sent an e-mail or called. She finally called 2 weeks later and they said they needed that info.

I got the Burner and installed in-place of an existing burner. It would not read DVD media, whether it be Pre-recorded disks or un-burnt disks. I upgraded the firmware, still no worky.

I sent the burner back on DEC 31, 2003. They signed for it on 05 Jan 2004. On 15 Jan I called wanting to know where my replacement was. I didn't have the RMA # handy, so NO DICE.

I called back the next day, said I couldn't find any info, I was from Iowa and that alone could narrow down the # of customers. I was rather stern w/the Customer service rep. He said someone would research it and call me the Following Monday.

In my RMA letter I asked AVLogic to upgrade my burner from the DVR-106 to the retail A06, I figured since I lost valuable time sending a defective unit back and having to pay postage it was the least they could do...But Oh NO!!!! My RMA included my phone number and e-mail address and nobody got back to me. They said they could not send me the A06.

This is the poorest excuse of customer service I have ever seen. DO NOT ORDER FROM AVLOGIC = UNLOGICAL.

"After having problems with resellers such as pclink2000.com I decided to pay the extra $4 and go with someone like avlogic. My order was easy to place, and the website was easy to navagate as well. I recieved an e-mail confirmation and a shipping confirmation!! I placed my order on 8/28 and recieved it on 9/2. It would have come on 9/1 but it was labor day. I absolutly recommend paying the extra $$ to go with someone with out any problems. Though some of thier stuff is a bit pricy."

"Rep. in customer service was very helpful...I needed the item shipped out same day 2nd day air and she expedited my order to make sure it would get out for me! "WARRANTY RESPONSE EXTREMELY SLOW AND REPLACEMENTS ARE WITH JUNK IF YOU WANT TO SPEND IN SHIPPPIN BACK DEFECTIVE MERCHANDISE CHOOSE THIS COMPANY-THEY DON'T PAY SHIPPING. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MORE THAN 4 MONTHS TO BE REPLACE MY A7N8X DELUXE M/B, LAST TIME THEY SENT ME THE REPLACE M/B WITH A VERY NOTORIOUS PHISICAL DAMAGE AND THEY SAID IT WAS BRAND NEW THAT JUST BOUGHT FOR ME THEY ARE A BIG LIARS.
FOR NEW ORDERS THEY SEND QUICKLY, CROSS YOUR FINGERS IT IS OK DON'T EVEN THINK TO RETURN IT YOU WILL GET THEIRS JUNK AS REPLACE AND THEY WILL TELL YOU IT WAS A BRAN NEW STUF-DANGEROUS BEHAVE. INSTEAD CONTAC THE MANUFACTURER.
