"Searched online and in stores for a Sony Handycam and found 42nd Street Photo to have the lowest price by atleast $29. For previous purchases I've found some onine stores that advertise low prices but turn out to be out of stock or a gimick to try to upsell you. So I read reviews and found positive feedback for 42nd Street, so I gave them a try. The only thing that went diffent than any other online purchase that I have made is that I placed my order on Saturday and on Tuesday someone called to confirm my order and told me that the camera was a good choice and had good reviews except for the battery didn't last long and tied to get me to upgrade to a bigger battery. None of the reviews that I had read mentioned anything about that. So, I declined and without any further issue or sales pitch, my camera showed up Friday with free shipping! Overall I had a very good experience with 42nd Street Photo!!!!!! "
"Product and service were as described. Follow up phone call to try to sell me more stuff was annoying. I realize they likely sell more this way but for me it just delays fulfilling my order and makes me hesitate before going back.i.e. if I find the same place at another well rated establishment I buy from the other establishment. "Ordered a camera on a Wednesday. Site said it would ship in 2 to 3 days. Got a phone call on Saturday evening, where they tried to sell me cards and batteries. It shipped UPS on Monday (5 days)and I received it on Friday. Camera was new and worked fine, price was good, just be prepared for a sales call and to wait a little."
