Need customer service skill development!

"It took a week and TOO much time waiting by the door to have flowers delivered! I received multiple calls from 'customer service' to 'investigate' or 'apologize'. They made me feel like I was the one messing up the order, the flowers were ordered by a friend for me! The so-called 'customer service reps' at 1-800-Flowers do not demonstrate basic customer service skills! I was the one using courteous language, including closing the conversation with 'have a nice day', which I NEVER heard on any of the calls! DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!"

Absolutely Unacceptable

"I placed an order with 1800flowers.com for a sympathy flower arrangement. My best friend’s parents passed away. The customer service reps, to whom I couldn’t understand, called me today ( the day of the funeral ) 3 hours before the service to inform me that the flowers won’t be delivered. I will never use this company again and I’ll be sure that family and friends don’t either. A complete failure !"

Ruined funeral for my family

"

So I ordered a funeral arrangement for my aunt who passed a couple weeks ago. Ordered a funeral arrangement to be delivered. The funeral was over seas in Japan. No problem.... they service the area. I get a phone call friday(our time) Thursday was a Japanese holiday. The funeral was Saturday. They could have told me within the week prior that they couldn't come thru with the arrangement.
So today.... Tuesday 4 days after the funeral, they call asking if we still wanted our flowers delivered?????? WTF is this!!!!! I'll never do any kind of business with them again.
Oh they did offer to send the arrangement a week after the funeral for 50% off if I wanted. And send it where you idiots????? The funeral has passed.

Thank you 1800 flowers for making a sad situation even sadder!!

Flowers never received 2 days later for same day delivery.

"I ordered flowers for same day delivery my ex girlfriend whom I was trying to impress never received the flowers for her birthday! There was absolutely no attempt to deliver 3 days later & no flowers. I was not accommodated for the terrible inconvenience that I received from 1800 flowers.com.
I'm not sure that I would even get my refund back ,no cancellation or confirmation #. I honestly feel like they took my money & ran. I ordered from them a few years ago & it turned out great I don't know what's up with them now. Maybe new management idk, but I am greatly disappointed & will never order from them in the future. My tracking number didn't even work for my order. And I could barely understand the people on phone from customer service. The only thing that saved me was I had to screen shot my order to prove to my ex girlfriend that I didn't forget her birthday !! To summarize: False advertisement,no accommodation, no flowers & **** .

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE..PLEASE DO NOT USE 1800Flowers

"I made a delivery order on June 28 2019 for a surprise delivery for my husband as it was his birthday. After placing the order online, I received a phone call from them 3 hours later telling me that the delivery could not be done to the area I had requested, really? why don't you figure this out once the address of the recipient has been inputted???? Then they tell me that they are going to call the recipient being my Husband to tell him that the delivery cannot be done....WTH are you going to call the recipient if the delivery was supposed to be a SURPRISE!! Bunch of idiots working there at 1800FLOWERS. Sounds like their call center is in India because all the people I have spoken to during this ordeal have been Indian people with heavy accents to where I could not understand them or they me. They are very unprofessional. So now they are making my refund very difficult, almost refuse to refund my money. Good thing I used PayPal and now have an open case dispute with this ratchet company. I will NEVER EVER use this company nor would I recommend it to ANYONE!! I will buy what I need and do the delivery myself from now on. Sometimes we have to learn the hard way!!!!! I left a very negative survey they sent me to my email and now they are calling me and leaving voicemails saying they want to talk to me about the survey I did....don't waste your time contacting me as I have nothing else to say to you. PayPal will be contacting you and make you give me my full refund to my account.. The nerve!!! Don't ever use 1800Flowers big disappointment. Read all the negative reviews first, there are hundreds."

not relieble at all.....

"please do not trust this 1-800-flowers site. They messed up 2 orders in 2 weeks and did not deliver however they confirmed it 3 times. Both orders were placed for a funeral and neither of them got delivered. "

Avoid celebration passport

"I made an order on 800flowers and for shipping it offered to a “trial” of their celebration passport with free shipping to try for 30 days. It didn’t say anything more on that so I clicked it. When I went to get a refund they said the 30 day trial is only IF you don’t buy anything. I told them I didn’t see that and they say it’s in the fine print. I went to the page about the passport program and it doesn’t clearly give you the disclaimer. You have to click the little “full terms and conditions” and it’s in tiny print at the bottom. They’re very dishonest about the trial period and they didn’t seem surprised by my call. I guess they make up for their poor revenues by doing shady business practices to keep them afloat. Plus who gives a “trial period” and nullifies it when you TRY it. They think people will sign up for it and let it sit just to see what it’s like to have an account then cancel? The whole set up is dishonest and not worth coming. I don’t recommend doing business with such shady practices. Oh, I recently checked the website and the cost went down from $29.99 to $19.99 so watch out for their fluctuating prices for the passport too. "

Horrible

"Mother's Day should be special, right? I have two Mother-in-Laws, who live very close to each other and know each other. I ordered Mother's Day bouquets for them both in plenty of time to be delivered. One received her bouquet, the other did not. Never received notice about the one mother not receiving hers. We knew one received hers because she called and thanked us. So I called the other mother and she said no....several days after Mother's Day. When I called 1-800-Flowers, they said the bouquet I ordered for her was not available so they never sent anything or notified me! I reordered a different bouquet to be sent LATE. They called me several days after that and said it couldn't be sent because they CAN'T FIND A FLORIST IN THAT AREA! Told them they used a florist for my other mother who lives a couple blocks away! They said over and over...no florist available. Pathetic excuse and pathetic service. "

Arrived late and Birthday ruined

"I paid extra specifically for delivery by 3pm because that's when my loved one was working. Flowers arrived at 4:30 (no Birthday surprise!) and little was done to compensate me for the trouble. When I called prior to 3pm for status they kept saying they had until 5pm to deliver (even though I paid for early service) and could not reach the local vendor for an ETA. All in all I paid $68 for nothing (big surprise the next day). You are far better off calling a local florist yourself. "

Stay Away!!!

"I ordered flowers from 1-800-Flowers to be delivered on May 10, 2019. This was two days before Mother's Day. As of today, May 14, 2019, the flowers had not been delivered. There was also no attempt to deliver. I called and asked for a full refund. The seller first offered to waive my delivery fees which I refused. They then offered to refund me 50% which I also refused and I requested a full refund since Mother's Day had passed and they had not even attempted to deliver. The rep put me on hold for almost 10 minutes. He came back and stated that he had rescheduled delivery for tomorrow and waived my delivery fees. I told the rep that I did not agree to have delivery rescheduled and wanted a full refund since they had not delivered as promised. The rep then stated that he could not refund me because he had already scheduled the delivery. I reminded him that I asked for a full refund before he put me on hold and never asked him to reschedule. At this point, I asked to speak to a manager and he stated that there was not one available. I told him that I would hold and he refused to allow me to speak to a manager or supervisor. I refused to hang up and he placed me hold for almost 40 minutes. He then came back and claimed that he would cancel it and abruptly hung up. He did not cancel the charge. I finally wound up disputing it with my credit card company. Stay Away!!!"

Ripped off

"I'm past mad right now...I ordered my Mother-in-law & my Mom flowers on May 3rd from 1-800-flowers to be delivered May11th...the day came & went and they got nothing so I thought maybe by the 12th on Mother's Day they would get it but nothing so I called & was told they messed up but would have flowers by the 14th....what they each got are dead flowers, broken flowers & a broken vase. My Mother-in-law called to complain about the flowers only to be told replacement flowers would be delivered May 21st....my Mom called them & was told her flowers wouldn't be replaced at all. I'm so mad...I could spit right now....when I called asking for a refund I was told I would only get 50% of what I paid....when I asked to talk to a supervisor I was told they didn't have one & they would only give me 50% back company policy...I spent over $120.00 & I get only 50% back...please beware of them....unless you like dead, broken & being ripped off..."

"Wished I would of read the reviews before ordering from this company. Spent almost $100 and the flowers didnt arrived on time. When it finally came, the flowers were dead and defeats the purpose of the occasion because of it being late (mother's day). Trust the reviews on here, any positive reviews are fake. Don't know how this is still in business"

"I really have to start reading the reviews before I purchase online...anything...once again ive made the mistake of ordering flowers online. first time it was from bouqs and now from 1 800 flowers and with the same result....nothing...I guess its a game with these people to see how many orders they can pickup on special occasions...doesn't matter if feeling get hurt, loved ones are let down, its about numbers to them...I will never use this I will call them a tremendous let down, money grabbing self centered shyster of a company ever again...thanks ciara"

Not delivered as scheduled

"I'm a soldier that's currently working overseas for our great country America. I ordered some flowers from 1800 flowers.com for my mom for mother's day thinking the order would make it on time as normal. Nope, not only it not make it on schedule date, but it won't make it until the 14th of May. I ask the customer service lady, and she told me the florist will not be open( ok not good). So I ask her, since it's your company fault, how will i be compensated for your company error. She said $20 off your next order. After i spend over a hundred dollars for some flowers..wow!! I will never order any flowers from this company again after at least 10years of business period."
