Never Again

"If I could give zero stars, I would. I will NEVER order from 1-800-FLOWERS again. I ordered flowers for a memorial service for a former Town Elected Official. I received a call an hour before the service was to start, telling me the flowers would not be delivered. I was offered a credit and told them not to bother as I would not be using their company again. I also had to apologize to the family. This was embarrassing and infuriating. "

Call back from ***-***-**** with can't deliver will FEDEX

"Placed a order to 1800FLOWERS via a funeral home web page that added all the details of the funeral... got a callback w/i a coule of hours that the person whom the flowers was to be delivered was NOT at that funeral home. After tell them they were and gave them the number of the funeral so they could confirm... they verified and then called back again saying there were no florist they us in the area of the funeral home. I told them that that was a very populated area with many florist. so then they said that they would use a florist somewhere else and FEDEX them to the funeral home... I said there's no way to insure they would be there before the funeral was over the next day and to cancel and refund me.... they agreed and said it would take a while for the refund to go through..... I'm still waiting.

Will NEVER use 800flowers again... NEVER!! This is the second time I have paid for flowers for a funeral and they were NOT delivered before the funeral was over.

Save your money and time order elsewhere

"I have now ordered from 1800flowers a few times. The first time I ordered the flowers never made it at all, the second time the flowers looked absolutely terrible and nothing like the photo of the arrangement I chose, now this was the last opportunity I gave them to make it right and once again the flowers looked terrible I am far from a florist, however, I know that I could have done a far better job than what they did. Over 100 dollars blown on a vase of ugly almost dead flowers I did finally get in touch with a supervisor there after hours of trying and got a full refund but it didn’t help that they ruined a surprise for my wife I will never ever recommend nor will I use their services again and I suggest anyone reading this to do the same."

After horrible experience Jim McCann tries to apologize with a $20 petal.... Like I would use them again

"I ordered same day flowers- a rep called and said they could not deliver them May 10th- I said fine as long as they were there by Saturday no extra charge. This was going to my boss for her birthday. I received a notice stating they were in the process of being delivered. I received a confirmation they were delivered. Imagine my surprise when there were no flowers delivered. Best part... They said they would refund me- HA! do you think? since they were never sent. Then they offered to redeliver for me no charge. Oh but wait, then they sent me a note saying because I was fully refunded- they would not send them. Then they try the here's $20 off - why don't you just pick up the phone Jim and find out how we truly feel. It was embarrassing to be the only employee in the region not to do something special for her. Never ever again "

Never delivered Mother’s Day Flowers

"Went with 1-800 flowers despite my better judgement, but I really loved the puppy bouquet. It was only available the Tuesday after Mother’s Day. Got an email Tuesday at 8:25pm saying flowers were delivered .. NO THEY WERE NOT ... at 10:30pm spent 45 minutes in the phone answering stupid questions repeatedly. She promised they would be delivered by noon Wednesday and we were given 50% off .. Wednesday NO FLOWERS again .. called again and they had canceled the order "

Ruined Mother's Day in my opinion

"Ordered Mother's Day flowers for my sister and Mom a week ahead of time got the confirmation they never arrived call them Saturday they couldn't even get me the flowers until the 22nd of May told them I wanted my money back. Don't screw up my order especially when it comes to my mom!!!"

MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT FOR MY MOM'S MOTHER'S DAY GIFT!!! :( :( :(

"I purchased a $149 arrangement for my mom for mother's day...SOOO Excited for her to receive it today...WELL IT ENDED-UP BEING SUCH A HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT!

My mom sent me an email this morning, which read: "Thank u for beautiful, thoughtful arrangement..love the colors. Unfortunately, they used flowers that we're not fresh, broken stems and dropping flowers. I have called them. They offered to send a replacement to deliver tomorrow, but i said no. I told them I would keep this one but to credit you for arrangement. I talked to Justine in sales and she noted all this in your record. U must call ***-***-**** to get your credit. Sorry u have to go through all that for such a lovely gift. Thank u. I love u."

In addition, the flowers look NOTHING LIKE the photo on the website!! See photos below!! The bouquet they delivered was a FRACTION of the size I anticipated for the cost!! WHAT A SHAME!!

YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF YOURSELVES 1-800-FLOWERS!!! I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM YOU AGAIN!!! SO ANGRY RIGHT NOW!!

"1800flowers will take your money and they do not care if the flowers EVER get to the destination. Worst customer service people EVER! NEVER AGAIN! I hope they get sued for fraud & stealing hard working peoples money! They ruined valentine's day for me & my fiancé. Christopher G. McCann should be embarrassed to be the CEO of such a BS company

Expectation vs reality

"I would like to add to all the customers who gave one star these people are a third party all they do is the arrangements the local florist do all the work and 1800flowers takes a percentage leaving the local florist who do all the work with very little to gain. I have posted pics on FB and trip advisor to show how bad 1800flowers really are. SAVE YOUR MONEY MAKE THE TRIP TO LOCAL FLORIST YOURSELF TO GET YOUR MONEYS WORTH THIS SEVICE IS HORRIBLE STOP GIVING THEM YOUR MONEY TO DO NOTHING."

Buyer Beware

"Buyer Beware! I purchased the flowers that look like a dog and a cat together from these crooks. They charged me $107 for them. My wife got them and she sent me a picture of them. They looked like something sat on them. The heads of the dog and cat were all smashed down and you couldn't even see the eyes of the dog as they were pushed way down inside the head. The eyes and whiskers for the cat were also messed up. So I contacted these people about the flowers and they apologized and told me they would redeliver the flowers at their cost. I said alright that's fine as I understand things happen. Well the next day I got a phone call from someone at their business who could barely speak English. But I gathered from our phone call that the flowers had been delivered again. She also wanted to give me a gift certificate so I would use them again. Well I think not. Seven hours later and my wife has yet to get the redelivered flowers. They lied to me. So I told them to forget it. I learned my lesson about 1-800 flowers and I won't ever use them again. However I feel as if it is my duty to warn the general public about them. So you have been warned but if I were you I would use another floral service. "

THIEVES!!!!!

"Ordered from Harry & David yesterday and signed up for the Passport Annual Membership - $29.99. Today I discover I was not only charged $123.60 for they two actual items and the Membership but there is ALSO a $99.36 "hold" on my bank account for 3-5 days. This is AFTER my items were already debited from my account! No need for a "hold"! Called Harry & David who explained the "hold" and I asked to cancel the Annual Membership. Referred to 1800FLOWERS.COM and told that since the Membership was "used" it could not be cancelled. Told them I would pay for shipping on items ordered and to cancel Membership. Still they refused. So now I'm paying $29.99 to ship two items and stuck with a year long service I'll NEVER EVER use. THIEVES!"

Multilevel Marketing SCHEME

"I'm a Colorado small business owner who had a fruit bouquet contract with 1800 flowers & if you're reading this thinking about doing business with them, DON'T!!!! It's a huge scam & will ruin your business, luckily I ended my contract before they ruined my business. First, they tell you that you get paid every month & that's a lie, they take their percentage as soon as they can & pay you after 2 months. I spent thousands trying to fulfill the orders they sent me with no payment for 60 days. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM THEY PROFIT OFF OF SMALL BUSINESSES & DESTROY US. The customer service is awful, their call center is off shores. Do Not ORDER FROM THEM."

Dont trust they will help - They truly don't care

" Tried placing an order online yesterday provided payment using two different methods. Got confirmation from Paypal that the funds were being sent, but was sent back to the payment screen on 1800flowers website. Did this 3 times. Called them and was on the phone for over an hour trying to get this order placed. Was assured it would be placed and I would get a call back. Forwarded my paypal confirmation email and screenshots of the website. Needless to say, that was yesterday and I never got a call back.
I called them today and there is no order in the system and no notes about my call yesterday.
Their response was basically, oh well.
I have to wait for the charge Authorizations to fall off on their own (30 days for paypal) because 1800flowers wont go in and cancel it. Can't cancel from paypal either.
I am so freaking mad right now, I cannot believe a company would be so disrespectful and lack basic customer service. They don't care at all that I have lost the ability to send anything for this person's birthday.
I will NEVER do business with them again. It is not worth the frustration and disappointment
