"THE MOST DISGUSTING ONLINE RETAILER WITH WHICH I HAVE DONE BUSINESS! Ordered an athlon 2100xp mb/cpu combo. Website said the item was in stock. The next day they call to offer an 'upgrade' because the item is out of stock. I tell them I'll wait for backorder. Then I read resellerratings.com and decide I want nothing to do with these people. They are impossible to get a hold of (no email and phone is always busy.) Finally I call their parent company and get a fax number: ***-***-****. I also emailed the CEO: ****@****. Finally, by calling at 8am I am able to get a hold of someone. I am then informed that the item is not backordered and in fact was ready to ship today. They charge me a 5% cancellation fee, and the best part of the whole thing..... The guy who told me it was never backordered was the same guy who offered me an upgrade! Needless to say, I'm glad to be finished with my transaction with this company. Here is contact info for anyone else who has problems (I got this from the internet whois database:)

"Ordered: Athlon 2600 266 bus
Got: Athlon 2600 333 bus
Result: Fried MB and Most likly RAM and who knows what else

I called and they didnt seem too concerned. they took my number and said tech suport can call me back but not for a few days, gave no reasobn why.

Thay better replace my MB and RAM and there wrong processor and my old 1600 that is fried from when I tryed testing the MB.

We will see how it turns out but I have a feeling the BBB will be hearing from me real soon

"Crappy support, Crappy service, flat out lied about shipping. I ordered a mobo from them, and it was DOA. Called for a cross-ship, paid extra for 2nd day air, was promised it would ship first thing Monday morn, didn't actually get shipped until Tues. eve. Then, when I did get it on Thursday (so much for 2nd day) the replacement was bad too. Oh, and their RMA and Tech support is only available Mon. Wed. and Friday from 1pm to 5pm CST, so actually trying to get ahold of someone to process an RMA is an adventure in itself.
After all that, they refunded me less then they promised (they promised to refund the excess shipping charges for their failure to ship when they promised and thus negating the need for the 2nd day charges), and stuck me with about $40 worth of shipping for bad parts.

"First, this company sends a malfunctioning processor. So naturaly we call them up and they said to send it back and they will send a replacement to us. But this process took us about a week and a half because of their freakin weird calling hours which is 11am - 1pm Monday, Wend. and Friday. So then after we sent it back, we never received a processor back. After batteling the weird hours again we called them several times and they always said it would be sent in two business days. Which it never was. We did this five times. This company BLOWS!! Finally, we asked for our money back. We have yet to receive that. DONT TRUST THESE PEOPLE!! RUN LIKE HELL FROM THEM!!"

"I purchased a MB and CPU combo package. The seller and their web site both claimed retail packaged MB. When the package arrived, they sent me a OEM version of the MB. When I contacted them, they agreed to ship me a retail version or refund the difference for the OEM board. If I did not notice that it was an OEM product, I would have been ripped off the difference in the price. I opted to have them ship me the retail in replacement for the OEM. I made the mistake of agreeing to give them my credit card number to charge me for the retail version which was supposed to be refunded when they received the OEM one back from me. They have since received the OEM board. It is now about 2 months and 2 phone calls, and I still haven't been reimbursed. That was the first and last time that I will ever order from this company."

"Customer service is extremely poor. I sent them over three emails in regards to my purchase over a week ago and still have not received a reply back. The products that they sell are excellent. I ordered a Microsoft Intellimouse Explorer through them and received it when guaranteed but my inquiries have not been answered. Bottom line, great prices, but horrible customer service."

"Purchased a XP 2600 333 CPU online then I got an email the next day to call them. They said the dont have it and I have to purchase the 3 year with fan for an extra of 39.95 I guess watch out for vendors with no IN STOCK NOTICES! I'm pretty sure they do not have bare CPUs At ALL and want you to just buy retail."

"Found company thru low ball price on PriceWatch. Placed order on 5 Dec for AMD XP 2100 OEM. Got E-mail on 6th to contact them. Called on 9th, out of stock 7-10 day wait, then I found resellerrating, Oops. Called on morning of the 16th, still out of stock, no delivery date. Called back after lunch to cancel. Son-of-a-gun, the order was just filled and shipped!! Would get the shipping notice in 30 minutes!! Gosh, what a coincidence!! Since I just bought the 2100 from another store, I told them to turn it around. They put me on hold then told me they would have UPS reroute back to them. Got home, no shipping notice, but also no charge to my card. They updated their PriceWatch ad for XP 2100 yesterday, but still out of stock. At least they didn't charge my card. Nice on the phone, seemed helpful. Both times they were upfront about being out of stock and that my card had not been charged. Quite a coincidence that just as I cancelled they shipped the part? Maybe if I had not cancelled it would have really shipped? Maybe?"

"I ordered 2 OEM Athlon 2000+ CPUs. A week later everything but the CPUs are here. Worried I call sonicparts.com and am told that the part is out of stock, but they have a retail package I can upgrade to! The website doesn't say anything about the item being out of stock and still doesn't even though I just talked with sonicparts and they don't have any! The person I talked with claimed that an email requesting a phone call from me had been sent - I NEVER GOT IT. They didn't bother to call me with the phone number I provided to them. They weren't very interested in making their customer happy."

"Well, I'll add to the comedy of this vendor's reputation. They claim to carry the AMD XP 2400+. There's no mention of it being out of stock or taking 7-10 business days to ship. Well, I order the AMD 2400+ 9/27 and didn't receive an email, confirmation, etc. I emailed them 9/30 asking for status. Still no reply. I called them the afternoon of 9/30 and they indicated it would be 7-10 days. They are falsely advertising on Pricewatch and their website suggesting they have products in stock they clearly do not have. Don't waste your time, money or effort with this retailer. There are many more and much better options out there. Thank God.

Well, I never thought a vendor could be more worthless than I have previously rated them but this one wins the prize for being absolutely the worse retailer, online or offline, I have ever experienced. Bar none and I have dealt with dozens. After this post I will be emailing the BBB. I received my credit card statement today, October 23, and this vendor never credited my account for the order cancellation of Oct 4th. As a reminder this was a cancellation of an order that was placed 9/27/02 that was cancelled a week later after I learned the vendor had falsely advertised the product's availability on Pricewatch. I called them on the phone and spoke with them personally and they agreed to immediately cancel my order. However, and not surprising with this vendor, they did not credit my credit card. The BBB will be sending them a complaint letter on my behalf next week. If you're brave enough to order ANYTHING from this vendor you deserve what you get.
