TERRIBLE SELLER w/ AWFUL SUPORT

"RV Parts Country only wants to sell stuff, collect their money and have you go away. They DO NOT want to be bothered with any problems. Their attitude is "not our problem go to the manufacturer." I call manufacturer and they say "well, we're the wholesaler and RV Parts Country is our customer, so you need to go through them."
RV Parts Country eventually stopped replying to my requests and would no longer respond- (however they quickly found the time and energy to reply to my 1-star Google review!!) At that point the wholesaler conceded that RV Parts Country was not a good seller to deal with and the ended up taking care of the problem, NO THANKS TO RV PARTS COUNTRY.

Horrible is to high of a rating!

"I ordered an replacements AC shroud, wrong size due to the incorrect manufacture build list number, requested a customer service call for returning information via email (the only way you can contact them, their phone numbers are a dead end), NOTHING! First and LAST time I’ll use them.
Wonder how many other customers they have done this too.

Air Conditioner

"Hello,

I bought an air conditioner for my motorhome. It came in 4 days. I used their online customer service people and they got me the replacement so I could use my old thermostat set up. I did read reviews before buying and was worried, but the good out weighted the bad so I went with them. Anyways I got it installed on my motorhome and I'm going camping next weekend.

Should have researched before order...TERRIBLE!

"So July 6th I ordered a weight Distributing hitch online, brand I wanted at best price, paid PayPal on the spot. The only communication I have ever received was an order receipt. Three weeks later no item. They don't take phone calls, only the "online customer service" so I filled out the form. Several forms and emails later I still have not had ONE communication from them. Some research shows they are "Big Daddy's RV" so I called Big Daddys...no help there, no one will give out a "live" phone number. The guy at Big Daddy's parts DID offer to go online and fill out a customer service form for me. I declined, if the have ignored mine to date I doubt another will make a difference!
I am to blame as I didn't research them before ordering as the majority of reviews are no positive.

RUN, Do not just walk away from this joke of a company

"On July 3rd, I ordered a Barker 4-wheel tote along from RVpartscountry.com. We are leaving on a camping trip on July 14th, so I was pleased when the order arrived on July the 5th. My pleasure was short lived, however, when I saw the condition of the box. It looked as if it had been used as a tackling dummy by the local pro football team. Corners were torn off, and it had been opened and then haphazardly taped back together again, but just barely holding together. I opened the box and removed the tote, I immediately saw that one half of the T-handle on the gate valve had broken off. I looked everywhere for it but it was nowhere to be found. It was late and I decided to stop for the day, figuring I could contact the company and get a replacement handle sent to me, still in time for our trip on the 14th.
The next day I started assembling the hose and connectors, with no problems. I attached the handle and the caps as per the directions, also with no issue. Then I stood the unit up on its end, and noticed that the rear wheel axle was disconnected from the tote body on one side. The tote body is molded with a slot for the axle during manufacturing, and I could not figure out if or how I could get it back into the slot.
At this point I decided to contact RVpartscountry to try and arrange an exchange for another unit before our trip. This is when the real fun started….
From here forward I could simply cut and paste from the many reviews I have read on this and other sites. Their website lists a customer service number, but when you call it you get a recorded message that they don’t provide telephone support, and are directed to follow the link for “Live Customer Support” on their website. OK, so I figure it will be one of those real-time chat setups. WRONG! Clicking it takes you to a freaking e-mail form.
So I played the e-mail game and was told to e-mail the returns department, with photos of the damaged items and the customer order #. So I did, and then waited… Now they are on east-coast time and close at 5 PM. At 4:30 PM, I get a response asking me for my order #. That was Friday, July 6th. I spent 4 hours on a problem that could have been handled by a 15 minute phone call!!! I quickly replied that it was in the original e-mail, but listed it again. By then, they were outta there!
I tried Monday to get some feedback and never got anything except an automated reply email asking me to not send duplicate emails… I tried again this morning, sending a not so nice request that someone please tell me something… As of noon there was still no response, so I called the manufacturer (Barker Manufacturing) and actually spoke to a real person. She patiently listened to my story and then informed me that they were very “aware” of RVpartscountry.com. Then, she calmly stated that they would make things right. She is sending me a new T handle, and some parts so that I can remove the endcap off the axle and reinsert it into its proper slot. She also said I’d get the parts before out trip.
Then about an hour ago I got an e-mail from rvpartscountry with an RMA and instructions to have the item package and ready for UPS pickup. Nothing else about when it would be picked up, if they would be processing a refund, and nothing about a replacement before my looming departure on the 14th. It does say in their terms and conditions that all returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee.

Now at this point please understand that I would grind this thing up and eat it before I’d pay them a restocking fee. So I told them the manufacturer was taking care of me, as they seemed unwilling to, and that I’d be keeping the item.

Rest assured this is the last thing I will EVER buy from this farce of a company. While I feel sorry for the employees, I feel nothing but animosity and disgust for the management and ownership of this company. It is obvious they do not value their customers or their needs. On what planet is an e-mail client considered good customer service? I'd rather use pony express, on maybe even carrier pigeon!

It is my sincere hope that they go out of business. Tomorrow would not be soon enough.

They're prices are great, but is it worth it?

"Last year I ordered a small item from RV Parts Country and it was delivered within a couple weeks. No problem. So this year when we decided to replace our refrigerator we ordered it from RV Parts Country because they had the best price by over $100.00. We ordered a 4 cu ft fridge, a door panel, and a door reversing kit. We were told it would take 2 weeks to ship. The door reversing kit never came. The refrigerator received cosmetic damage in shipping so I contacted RV Parts Country. I called their customer service phone number on their website and got an answering machine that said I had to submit a ticket online. All communication is online only. I have left my phone number twice now. Two weeks ago, I was promised a credit for damages and that the reversing kit was shipping that day. I have received no credit to date, no phone call, and no further communication. The only way I will ever order from RV Parts Country again is if I can not find a needed item elsewhere. Extremely poor customer relations. "

Horrible customer service and communications

"Another crap review for this company. Ordered a fridge on 6/13 and ALL correspondence was email. Paid 3000. for unit and shipping that day by cc and card billed IMMEDIATELY. Per email had it in stock and shipped 7 to 10 days. Over the course of 10 days tried to get a status on unit as tracking # wasn't working. Getting generic emails of computer down and please down send them emails because it slows their response back to you. Phones were never answered so no legitimate response from their so called customer service. Having had no info from them my wife emailed them inquiring about cancellation. She never requested a cancellation but their next email sent was a cancellation and would take 5 days to process. On the 29th I requested status of refund. Was asked for order #. Sent it and also asking for a specific answer not a generic one. Was sent a generic reply to contact the returns dept. at their email address. Sent info, then reply was the email would be answered in the order it was received. Refund was posted on the 30th minus a 6% cancellation fee. Again couldn't speak with anyone in this company to dispute this so maybe the cc company will have better luck.
Horrible customer service and communication. Putting them on blast.

Buyers BEWARE!

"After waiting 11 days for my product and my credit card being charged the day the order was placed, I still have no answer on the status of my item. Horrible customer service process. Can't speak with anyone, phone number directs you to contact the company thru their website and all communication is only thru email....that's not cool. I always try to buy local but when an item is not available to do so, consumers ultimately have to turn to ordering such item. When placing an order a consumer should have no reason not to expect receipt of product in a timely manner or at the least an immediate resolution if a problem arises, especially when a company charges you for such item upon receipt of the order. I'm not cool with a company taking and using my money, me not receiving anything in return and upon the initial notification to the company, only receiving updated information when I initiate another email. Sure appears to be a bogus company. I have requested my money be returned and I'm not wasting my time awaiting a reply from them on my request...called credit card company for a refund. It's companies like this that ruin the trust of consumers. BUYERS BEWARE...save yourself time and a headache...stay way from this company. "
