I contacted them to let them know that they might want to check their stock. They offered to replace the strips and the replacement strips were their usual high quality!"
"We had to return product due to a mis-order on our part. Not IFIXIT's fault, but when we asked to have the order canceled, we were told it was too late, even though the order had not shipped. That lack procedural capability cost us ~$25 in wasted shipping; unnecessary impact to the environment, and a lot of wasted time on both parties parts. It seems a quick phone call to your shipping department could have averted all. We would expect your logistical systems to be more flexible."
"Once I got the kit, I was able to take screws out from bottom of lap top to replace the battery that I purchased from you. All is well now. I love this kit. Its made very well and the case being magnetic with the cover is sweet.

I followed the instructions carefully but my laptop would not power up and is ruined and I had to buy a new one. Macbook Pro battery replacement is not a good idea for anyone not a professional IT repair person."

One advise please make sure to buy Tesa double sided tape as well even if guys are thinking of using glue As well. Used glue at the corner only. Thanks. "I ordered a kit to replace my mid 2014 Macbook Pro battery. The tools that came with the kit are excellent. The walkthroughs they provide on their website for free are absolutely wonderful. The framework for the walkthrough is great as the comment system is invaluable and perfectly done in my opinion. I swapped out my swollen battery with the one from iFixit and it works like new. Can't ask for much more than that."
