"I was able to breathe new life into the iPhone SE even though I popped the screen off pretty hard. Was able to put everything back according to the video, and it all works. Extra Phillips screw (to replace the pentalobes) was a nice touch. Have ordered a second battery pack to help out the other iPhone SE we have with a quickly-dying battery."
"I installed the battery on my iPhoneX. It was relatively easy to install. I found a good 3rd party video which went into detail.
Its too early to tell. Phone is working, and hold charge. I will update this review should anything change.

"I got through the entire installation of my replacement battery for my 2018 MacBook Pro and when I inserted the battery data cable into the battery terminal on the circuitboard that is attached to the battery, the terminal came off. I did not do this forcefully it was very gentle. It's extremely frustrating having gone through this whole process that took four hours to have this happen on the last step.
When I contacted ifixit.com, Kyron, a support technician, told me that they do not warrant the quality of their parts and that when it arrives at your door, it's out of their hands. They tried to say it was "physical damage" to excuse their faulty product quality. That's like going to a dentist for a crown and they don't warrent you biting into an apple because you could incur physical damage. They said they would offer a one time exception and give me a coupon for 50% off a replacement.
Ridiculous."

"I bought replacement screen, battery, and headphone/charging port for iphone SE (1st gen). Everything works and the ifixit guides were really helpful and (mostly) clear. However, the guides could have included more images or labels of small components and useful advice. The comments left by other readers helped me repair everything successfully since they provided additional details and advice that were not in the guides."
"Botched up using the precut adhesive tape on iPad because it had no instructions on for the steps for the multilayered plastic coverings. There’s at least 4 layers of plastic and no instructions to which order to remove. Not once but twice. Screen would not stick down. Had to use masking tape to hold the screen in place.
Bought this TESA 4mm tape, layed it down along the cleaned edge, trimmed using Exacto knife and used the spudger to press the tape down, plugged in the screen, removed the paper, and set the screen onto the lower half and ran my finger along the edges pressing the screen down. I then used the heat pad tool a long the edges to soften the tape and pressed down the screen again Easy peasy. Screen stuck down like it was factory installed.
I highly recommend this TESA tape instead of the pre-cut adhesive strips."
