"I went in to buy a new helmet. I was greeted when I went through the door. I asked if I needed help. I said that I needed to get fit for a new helmet. I was immediately assisted and told of the different types of helmets and which ones best fit my shape of head. My salesman was awesome and told me about the different accessories ie. Face shields, vents, Bluetooth, etc. he then fit me for a helmet, asked me how it felt etc. I ended up buying it and am very pleased."
"The wife and I need new helmets. The associate that helped us seemed knowledgeable but turned out not so much. The wife's helmet fit was ok. Mine was very tight. My old helmet was a XXL but the associate insisted that a XL would be fine. It wasn't. After a week of riding and extreme headaches, I took a knife a trimmed out the foam so it wouldn't hurt. FYI...we we're in rural Colorado and didn't have time to find another Cycle Gear. The helmet is still so tight I can't slip my glasses on with helmet on.
Also bought Sena 2.0 communication system. He installed one and we need to go to the Mesa location to pickup the second one. The Mesa manager helped us. He said that the Phoenix location installed the wrong microphone and he changed it out. There were a couple of other things that needed to changed out on the helmets that Phoenix overlooked.
I also needed a motorcycle wheel chalk. He suggested one and I asked if it would hold/fit a Harley Davidson Touring bike. He said yes so I bought it. It wasn't even close. Again, no way to return it.

"Reserved a helmet on line only to find out it was missing parts so a replacement was offered. It didn't fit and the sales guy kept walking away to help other people that came in after me. The store had nothing in stock in my size and the only option I was given was to prepay for a helmet that I had not tried on. Then they would order it. I can do that. Not a lot of advice was given as to what brands or helmet shape I should be looking at. Like i said guy kept leaving to go help other people in the middle of me trying to ask questions. I picked up a helmet and bluetooth system down the road at the local Harley dealer. By the way the brand I ended up with that fit the best was one never suggested by the "gear expert" at your store"
